Ariel Zilber - Refaenu Hashem - Music Video
Ariel Zilber is a musician, singer, and a composer. He is one of the founding members of the Tammuz band, which is one of the pioneers in Groove and Israeli Rock, and has its name on a long list of hits that in a short amount of time turned into classics in the Israeli population.
Refaeinu Hashem, the well-known Bakasha from Shemoneh Esrai, was composed by Zilber himself. The International Yedidim choir, led by Yaakov Rotblatt provided backup vocals, and Dani Kerk arranged and musically produced the song.

Shlomo Simcha - Tateh Oy Tatenyu - Music Video
This new tune to Avinu Malkeinu titled “Tate Oy Tatenyu,” was composed by R’ Pinchas Wolf, a 71 year old Detroit native. A few years ago, when most people R’ Pinchas’s age look to “slow down a bit and relax “, R’ Pinchas undertook producing and releasing the 200+original compositions he had written over the years. In the last year and a half R’ Pinchas has already released two albums featuring his very special music as performed by some of the top artists in Jewish music

Small Plane Crashes on a Tree in Parking Lot
A small plane crashed late Monday morning at Robertson Airport, in Plainville, Connecticut but authorities reported only very minor injuries.
The police identified the pilot as Manfred Forst and said he was flying alone. He is 80 years old, town manager Robert Lee said Monday afternoon.
The blue-and-white single-engine Cessna was very close to landing when it veered to one side and wobbled, according to a witness. The plane ended up in a parking lot several hundred feet west of the runway; it was right side up, but the right wing appeared to be snapped.
A video released by the town Monday afternoon shows the plane flying low, hitting a tree and then landing in the parking lot.

Footage from Dewbury, West Yorkshire in the UK shows a police officer breaking down a door, watched by two colleagues. The officer eventually bashes the door off its hinges and the officers burst inside. But a man then clambers out of the window, drops on to the driveway and stumbles away.
The video, dubbed The Great Escape, was posted on the Dewsbury Pictures Old and New Facebook site. People who commented on the post questioned whether it was real or fake.

A father's video of his children trying to figure out how to listen to old cassette tapes has gone viral.
James Crane, from Essex, England discovered the collection while visiting his father with his children 12-year-old Archie, 10-year-old Oscar and nine-year-old Grace.
Mr Crane, 39, giggled from behind the camera as he filmed the trio struggling to work out how to play music from the cassettes.

Insects On Lake React To Noise
While out camping in the beautiful Kaiser Wilderness of California’s Sierra National Forest, backpacker Amy Lippus captured a really interesting phenonmenon when a lake full of waterbugs made themselves known every time her camping partner said the word “hey” and make other noises.
The insect reacting to the shout is the Water Boatman (Corixidae). The lake has very few, if any, fish in it, so a huge population of water bugs, mostly Corixidae (from what we could see). For whatever reason, the ones that happen to be on the surface when we shout shoot forward rapidly when they hear a loud voice. The ones that are underwater don’t react at all. They don’t react to a clap. The only thing that got a reaction out of them was shouting. They seemed to prefer “Hey!” You could actually “see” the speed of sound by watching their reaction propagate across the lake.

Produced by Michoel Pruzansky and Yochanan Shapiro, Yochanan arranged many of the choirs and composed the songs, Shuvi, Hareini, and Uvirtzoncha. World renowned composer and hit-maker Eli Gerstner’s compositions and arrangements are all over this album as well. Eli composed two songs on the album and directed the music on several of the tracks.
The album also features hit songs from the Israeli duo Eli Klein & Yitzy Berry. Some of the hottest composers of our generation are featured on the album such as: Yitzy Waldner, Elie Schwab, Naftali Schnitzer and the exciting new producer, composer and arranger, Doni Gross.
Making his production debut is co-producer, Ilan Schnitzer who aside from managing Michoel all year round, helped ‘Pruz’ mold this album to be the mega hit it is. In addition to Naftali Schnitzer and Eli Gerstner songs were arranged by Ian Freitor, Shai Barak, Eli Klein & Yitzy Berry.
Shootin’ For the Moon will be distributed by Nigun Music and be available in stores everywhere, and online for digital download in the coming week.
