They called him “Yossele the Miser”. A man who never seemed to give, who shut his door to the poor and turned away every cause. When he passed, almost no one came to his funeral. Why honor someone so cold? But in the days that followed, the truth came to light. The baskets of food that had always appeared at widows’ homes, the coins left for orphans, the quiet sustenance that had held up an entire town - all of it stopped. And the people finally understood: Yossele had never been a miser at all. He was a tzaddik nistar, a hidden righteous soul, now revered as “Yossele the Holy Miser”, giving everything in secret.
The lessons we can learn from Yossele are many. His life teaches us that the greatest giving is done in silence, without recognition and without any expectation of being repaid. Hidden holiness can be far greater than what the world applauds. We are also reminded how careful we must be not to judge others. The very people we may dismiss could be the ones quietly holding up countless others. Greatness is not always loud, and holiness is not always visible, but Hashem sees our lights shining brightly.

The Chuppah - Shea Kaller Band Feat. Shulem Lemmer
Some nights remind us what it means to feel. To connect. To be fully present in a world that rarely pauses. This was one of those nights.
As family and friends gathered around the Chuppah, time held its breath.
This particular wedding was unforgettably moving.
With Shulem Lemmer’s voice gently soaring and the Shea Kaller Band’s soulful arrangement, it left everyone inspired. So turn the volume up. Let it wash over you. And for once, let yourself feel.

Sambatyon - Motty Ilowitz & Shulem Lemmer
The Sambatyon isn’t the average river. It’s a wall of chaos, raging six days a week with stones, daring anyone to try and cross it.
And still… they crossed it.
First came Reb Meir, a chazzan. His town was under threat, and they needed someone competent to help. He crossed the Sambatyon to summon Reb Don, who could stand up to the ruler’s challenge.
But before Reb Don headed out, they realized something: Crossing thus far, on Shabbos, while the waters were calm, had been permitted; it was pikuach nefesh. But crossing back wouldn’t be. So each would remain stranded on the far side of where they began.
Reb Meir wrote a poem “Akdamus”, and handed it to Reb Don to bring back for the people of his town, whom he would never see again.
Reb Don crossed and defended Torah. And like Reb Meir, he never returned.
Every person has their own “Sambatyon”, something that feels impossible, uncrossable. Yet, out of everyone, you’re chosen and capable to carry out your part. Even if it takes walking through stormy seas.
This Shavuos, as we say “Akdamus”, may we find the strength to cross our own seas and receive all the goodness waiting on the other side.

Live at the Tribute Evening to Magen David Adom on June 25th 2024
Facing the sea breeze, on June 25th, a musical event - a unique, rare, and moving concert featuring the greatest names in Chassidic and Jewish music - took place at the Caesarea Amphitheater.
The concert was held under the title "Winning for Life," initiated by the Friends of Magen David Adom in Israel. The evening was dedicated to the memory and lasting legacy of the 34 Magen David Adom personnel who fell in the line of duty while saving lives.
This is the third consecutive time a concert organized by the Friends of Magen David Adom has achieved such a great success, with the event declared "sold out" ten days before the scheduled date. The event was intended to thank the thousands of Magen David Adom volunteers who risked their lives in life-threatening situations to save others, and in memory of the dozens of volunteers who gave their lives in this mission. Magen David Adom personnel have saved tens of thousands of lives, working around the clock, day and night, during the October 7th attack attack on October 7th, under prolonged rocket threats and under the threat of rockets that lasted for many months.Proceeds from the concert will help further strengthen Magen David Adom at this time, as the organization needs to purchase blood donation vehicles, bulletproof ambulances, and special 4x4 intensive care rescue vehicles.
The concert included the following artists: Performers included Yitzchak Meir Helfgot, Ishay Ribo, Shulem Lemmer, Yonatan Razel (who was also in charge of the musical arrangement and conducting of the evening), along with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra and guest conductor Bar Gottfried, as well as musical surprises including the African Hebrews Israelites of Dimona and Amir Dadon. The event was produced by Yitzchak Rashi and hosted by media personality Sivan Rahav Meir.Among the honored guests were Health Minister Uriel Busso (who himself volunteers with Magen David Adom himself), Chairman of the Magen David Adom Executive Committee Avraham Mandler, Magen David Adom Director General Eli Bin, and Chairman of Friends of Magen David Adom in Israel Gil Weiser.

Kol Zman - Shulem Lemmer ft. Hershy Rottenberg
Our neshamos are divine presents, gifted to us by Hashem in their purest form. We are entrusted with the sacred task of maintaining this purity throughout our lives. The knowledge that our souls will one day return to their Source fills us with profound gratitude and reverence. We are mindful of the precious and temporary nature of our time here, compelling us to live with intention and make choices that honor and protect our divine essence. With deep gratitude for each day on earth, we strive to reflect the beauty and sanctity of our neshamos in all we do.
Lyrics:

You gave me a pure soul, pristine and clean and white
One day You’ll take it back from me, she is Yours alright
I will try to keep her pure and white
I promise this one thing
And until you take her back from me,
I’ll turn to you and sing
כל זמן שהנשמה בקרבי מודה אני So long as the soul is within me I give thanks to You

Solemates - a Project of Mesamche Lev
As Mesamche Lev's flagship initiative, SoulMate is designed to create meaningful and strategic impact. By negotiating with factories for discounted bulk purchases, we can provide top-quality, up-to-date styles – the same ones that retail elsewhere for around $100 a pair - with the actual total cost of the shoes at approximately 4 million dollars in retail value. Thanks to this massive initiative, tens of thousands of children walk out from the distribution centers with shining new pairs of shoes that their families couldn’t afford otherwise.
Step Up Your Support to Keep this Initiative Going
Mesamche Lev conducts its 'Solemates' Campaign once every two years to raise funds for two years of Shoe Distribution. By running the campaign bi-annually, they can save the operational costs of such a campaign, ensuring that every dollar goes towards the cause. Mesamche Lev team members are contacting donors to help sponsor 80,000 pairs of shoes at $34 per pair, totaling $2,720,000.

Kehilos Hakodesh - Shulem Lemmer - Music Video
In the face of unspeakable tragedy, we remember. Lives cut short, worlds forever broken, solely because of their unwavering Jewish faith. Their loss is an ache that knows no measure. We may never truly grasp the why, but we pray, with tears in our eyes and pain in our hearts, for a world where such sorrow is extinguished, and these holy souls are reunited with us.

"Umar Rabi Yochanon" Shulem Lemmer ft. H. Weinberger
Our world, so vast and grand, is meticulously coordinated by Hashem, who orchestrates every intricate detail with divine precision, from the seemingly minute to the highly significant. And yet, while He creates and manages every bit of existence, Hashem simultaneously maintains an individualized relationship with each of us. Like a father and son, our bond with Him is personal and eternal. Every blade of grass, slithering earthworm, galloping horse and breathing human being serves as a reminder of the love and care He exudes for each of us like we're His only child.
Lyrics:

Translation:
Rabbi Yochanan said: Wherever you find a reference to the might of the Holy One, Blessed be He, you also find a reference to His humility adjacent to it.
For everyone, to the whole world
