This special song celebrates the incredible volunteers and supporters who dedicate themselves to helping children with special needs and their families. Through patience, commitment, and compassion, they lighten burdens and bring smiles that grow wider every day.

Simcha Leiner - Zemiros Choir - Kerachem Av

Immediately following the terrible tragedy in Meron this past Lag Baomer, many of us were moved by the video of Shragee Gestetner A”H (one of the victims and an industry peer) singing this hauntingly beautiful song. Originally composed by and recorded with legendary Jewish Music songwriter Yossi Green on his debut album “Shragee”—The song will forever live on in Shragee’s Zechus.

Shragee A”H left his mark on Jewish Music as the soul-stirring vocalist and as the friend with a heart of gold amongst his peers. May his memory be etched in our minds and may he be a Meilitz Yosher for us, his family and all of Klal Yisroel.

Simcha Leiner & the Zemiros Choir, accompanied by Shimmy Markowitz on piano present our cover of this song.

May the memory of the 45 Neshamos lost in Meron live on forever.

Song composed by: Yossi Green
Choir by: Yoily Polatseck / Zemiros Choir
Piano by: Shimmy Markowitz
Cellist: Ansel Cohen
Mixed & Master by: Gershy Schwarcz @ Edgware Studios
Simchas’ vocals recorded at: Simcha Leiner’s Private Studio

Simcha Leiner - Seder HaAvodah ft. Basch & Feldman

This year our Yomim Noraim experience was unlike anything we’ve felt before. While being apart from each other physically we still joined in hearts and minds to pray for the safe return to our shuls and sanctuaries.

The beautiful Young Israel of Woodmere Amud has been my home for the Yomim Noraim for the past few years and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to record something special this year.

Seder Ha’avoda is a musical journey following in the footsteps of the Kohen Gadol (the high Priest) as he made his way through the holy duties of Yom Kippur bestowed on him on behalf of the Jewish people.

Performed together with star musicians Avromi Basch and Motty Feldman, we present this as a prayer to not only be able to join together next year B’rov Am Hadras Melech - but to witness the actual Avodah being performed in the return of the Beis Hamikdash.

Song Composed by Ishay Ribo
Lead Vocals - Simcha Leiner
Accompanied by - Avromi Basch and Motti Feldman
Guitars - Motti Feldman instagram.com/mottifeldman
Flute - Avromi Basch instagram.com/couple.of.baschs
Keyboard - Simcha Leiner
Additional Programming - Michael Soffer
Song Mixed by - Ruli Ezrachi
Single Artwork - Yoni Weiss (designinbrooklyn)

WATCH LIVE: An Evening of Song, Wisdom, Inspiration

Dear Friends,

We are honored to invite you to an Evening of Wisdom, Inspiration and Song that is dedicated to a single, lonely child:  a picked-on boy or girl who is horrified by the mere idea of going back to school.

That child has no one but us to look to for help.

So please take your seat at the table and enjoy an evening in support of The Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation’s Protect the Child Anti-bullying Initiative in memory of Mr. Efraim Majeski, z’l.

You’ll be entertained and inspired by some of the Jewish world’s greatest singers. Let them uplift your spirit while you do the same for that lonely child.

You’ll gain valuable knowledge as well, as our panel of renowned experts, including Dr. David Pelcovitz, Dr. Norman Blumenthal and Dr. Eli Shapiro teach us how to identify suffering children, crack the wall of isolation surrounding them and make changes that will change their world.

You’ll be inspired, enlightened and entertained, but most of all, you’ll be doing something effective to make sure that when the school bell rings IY’H in the year to come, every child will feel welcome and valued.

NSN 2020 Kosher Halftime Show!

Top Jewish radio personality Nachum Segal and NSN (The Nachum Segal Network) presents its seventh annual Kosher Halftime Show Sunday, Feb. 2, to coincide with America’s Super Bowl LIV. The show includes sketches connecting to late-night television shows and featured comedian Ashley Blaker, entertainer Meir Kay and recording artist Simcha Leiner.

Kay travels the streets of New York asking fellow New Yorkers football trivia for the prize of an Abeles & Heymann salami/sausage in a segment inspired by Billy Eichner’s Billy on the Street—For a Dollar. In another segment, Kay and Leiner do a riff on James Corden’s Crosswalk the Musical, by performing in a crosswalk on Central Avenue in Cedarhurst. Kay and Leiner also duel it out in a three-round, lip-sync battle reminiscent of the lyrical competition on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Blaker will perform an impromptu standup during the show.

“The regular halftime show is an iconic American event and true spectacle,” said Segal, president and host of NSN. “The Kosher Halftime Show has become very popular for families who are looking for a wholesome show to watch and enjoy. This year, we re-imagined the show and pulled the best late-night television sketches and created a show that families can watch live and share with their friends and family afterward.”

Meet the first ultra-Orthodox singer to get a major record deal.

In this, the 5th episode of SHMUZIK, we get to talk to two very unique and talented individuals. One is SHULEM Lemmer, the first ultra-Orthodox singer to get a major record deal. He is a star who keeps rising. The second is superstar singer Simcha Leiner, whose rise to stardom was not only due to his amazing talents, but also to the public on social media who followed his career closely and helped elevate him during the early stages of his career. Musician and singer Eli Levine dropped by for an impromptu performance of one of the biggest songs on the last year or so, Nasfshi.

What’s it like being famous? Does it ever get tedious? Did you always want to be a singer? Find out the answers to all that and more on this episode of Shmuzik.
