Rav Shmuel Dovid Friedman - Siyum Hashas Yerushalmi

Hagaon HaRav Shmuel Dovid Friedman, made a Siyum on Talmud Yerushalmi on Sunday. Rav Shmuel Dovid is a major Talmud Chochm, a Baki B’Shas, has made numerous Siyumim on Shas, and is a Mechaber Seforim. He is also seasoned Daf Yomi Maggid Shiur.

The Siyum was made on Shushan Purim, and was made Lizecher Nishmas, Hagaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky ZT’L, whose Yartzheit was on Shabbos.

Siyum Hashas in Just ONE Year - Kollel Shas Yiden, UK

Hagaon Harav Yaakov Meir Shechter, shlit”a, opened his home to the avreicheim geonim of Kollel Shas Yiden UK, who were visiting Eretz Yisroel, for them to celebrate their completion of the entire Shas. They were in Eretz Yisroel to participate in a public farher together with the other five Shas Yiden Kollelim based in Eretz Yisroel.

Despite his being away on vacation, Rav Shechter had insisted that this siyum take place at his home. The siyum was attended by the founder of Shas Yiden, the Pozna Rov, Hagaon Harav Avrohom Halevi Eisen, shlit”a, the Rosh Reshet Hakollelim, Hagaon Harav Moshe Isaac Samet, shlit”a and the patron of Shas Yiden UK, Reb Yisroel Moskowitz, n”y.

Issac Honig, Yisrael Adler, the Shira choir, and Orot band with master Orchestrator Shea Brim present a new Hadran for the siyum of Maseches Shabbos in the Daf Hayomi program

With the dazzling production of Effect events, an evening was held l'chvoda shel Torah with the attendance of gedolei Yisrael and Beitar residents, featuring chassidic music maestros Yisrael Adler and Eizik Honig and the Shira choir from the U.S. to celebrate the siyum Hashas in Beitar, arranged by Beitar mayor Rabbi Meir Rubinestein on 11 Teves 5780.

To the sound of a deafening applause, the music artists ascended the stage and performed the evening's presentation "Hadran," based on the prayer recited at the siyum of a maseches. This exceptional song, enhanced with a smattering of Yiddish expressions, was composed and written by Yisrael Adler.

R' Shea Brim, who created the musical background with his Orot orchestra, wrote a rich and precise musical arrangement for Hadran, and orchestrated the performance to perfection.

We present this masterpiece in honor of the siyum on Maseches Shabbos.

ה' טבת תש"פ. היכל ארנה בעיה"ק ירושלים. רבבות יהודים חוגגים בצוותא את סיום הש"ס הגדול שנערך ע"י אגודת ישראל בירושלים, דרוכים ומצפים לכניסתם של גדולי ישראל למעמד. שעה קלה לפני שיאמרו יחד את ה'הדרן',מבוצעת כאן לראשונה יצירת פאר מוזיקאלית שנכתבה במיוחד לקראת הסיום המרגש על מילות התפילה 'שתהא תורתך אומנותנו...' ורחשי ההודאה 'ששמת חלקנו מיושבי בית המדרש' הנאמרים אחר הסיום.

על התזמורת רבת הכלים מנצח המאסטרו החסידי דודי קאליש החתום על הלחנת היצירה לקראת המעמד ואף משתתף בה בקטעי סולו נבחרים.

מבצעי היצירה הינם שני ענקי הזמר הצעירים, אמן הרגש והנשמה העולמי - מוטי שטיינמץ, וגדול הווירטואוזים והיצירות בעם היהודי – זאנוויל ויינברגר.

לצדם, מקהלת ענק היסטורית וחסרת תקדים, המורכבת מ-40 טובי בעלי המנגנים מכל חצרות החסידות שזוכה לשם 'רבבות', עליה מנצח גדול מנצחי המקהלות – פנחס ביכלר.

Monumental Dirshu World Siyum Ignites Klal Yisrael With a Passion for Ameilus BaTorah

By no stretch of the imagination is Newark, New Jersey, the epicenter of the Torah world. Yet for one evening, the city of Newark hosted the most significant celebration of Torah accomplishments in the United States: the World Siyum of Dirshu.

The three venues — Prudential Center, NJPAC, and the Symphony Hall — held over 25,000 men, women, and children who traveled from all over the tristate area and beyond who came to celebrate the accomplishments of thousands of Dirshu Yidden who mastered Shas, reviewing it many times and passing monthly tests on each Masechta they learned.

Zanvil Weinberger and Motty Zilberberg - Mona - Hadran

Watch the legendary Mona Rosenblum, who originally composed and arranged Hadran, was flown in for the Grand Dirshu Siyum Hashas in Prudential Center in Newark NJ and revitalized the interpretation and performance of this piece. Now rearranged with a full-piece orchestra and a masterful, full-bodied choir giving this piece a modern touch.

The heartfelt melody followed by a joyous rhythm, Zanvil Weinberger and Child Soloist Motty Zilberberg Accompanied by Shira Choir and Malchus Choir and Hamenagnim and Freilach band, with some 50 musicians between them
