To ensure that everyone can attend the historic Siyum, as per the request of the Rebbe, the organisers have arranged free transportation for the entire Crown Heights, Remsen Village and East Flatbush. They have also arranged a police patrol along the entire walking route.

The Rebbe requested that the Siyum Harambam be held 讘专讜讘 驻讗专 讜讛讚专. The Rebbe explained that when the Siyum is held in a grand manner it will encourage more people to join and to participate in the learning of the daily Rambam.

The Rebbe took tremendous nachas and strongly encouraged the siyumim that were held throughout the years in a very grandiose way. The Rebbe once even remarked to Rabbi Shmuel Butman a”h, in connection to the siyum: 谞讬讟 专注讻注谞注谉 诪讬讟 拽讬讬谉 讙注诇讟!” Loosely translated: “Do not worry about any money!”

Rabbi Butman relates that he personally witnessed countless individuals who merited to see clear brachos from the Rebbe with children, health, parnosah and all areas of life after committing to support the Siyum.

At this Siyum, whoever contributes $36 dollars or more will go into a raffle to win a dollar from the Rebbe!

LIVE: Historic Siyum HaRambam - 40 Years

In a monumental celebration of Rambam learning and Achdus, the global Chabad community is gearing up for the Siyum HaRambam Haolami, marking the completion of the annual study cycle of the Rambam’s Mishneh Torah tomorrow, Wednesday, April 17th, on Eastern Parkway—right outside 770.

This year’s event, poised to be extraordinarily significant, commemorates 40 years since the Rebbe initiated the takanah for Klal Yisroel worldwide to engage in daily study of the Rambam.

Eastern Parkway will be entirely closed off for this grand celebration, aligning with the auspicious date of Yud Alef Nissan, which marks the Rebbe’s birthday. This year’s milestone—40 years of continuous Rambam study—is deeply symbolic, as Rabbi Shmuel Butman, chairman of the Vaad Siyum HaRambam Haolami, eloquently reflects. “As the Gemara states, ‘讜讗讜诇讱 讗转讻诐 讘诪讚讘专 讗专讘注讬诐 砖谞讛, 讜讻转讬讘: 讜诇讗 谞转谉 讛’ 诇讻诐 诇讘 讜讙讜’. 讗诪专 专讘讛, 砖”诪: 诇讗 拽讗讬 讗讬谞讬砖 讗讚注转讬讛 讚专讘讬讛 注讚 讗专讘注讬谉 砖谞讬谉,'” says Rabbi Shmuel Butman, “It takes forty years to fully grasp and appreciate one’s teacher’s wisdom, This insight underscores the celebration’s significance, highlighting the forty years of Rambam.”

The festivities will be a grand assembly in true “讘专讜讘 注诐 讛讚专转 诪诇讱” fashion, with renowned singer Avraham Fried leading the crowd in soul-stirring Niggunim.

This year’s Siyum HaRambam Haolami not only marks a historic period of dedication to Rambam study but also serves as a moment of Achdus and reflection within the Chabad community, reinforcing the bond with the Rebbe. As we gather on Eastern Parkway, we celebrate not just the completion of another cycle, but forty years of collective growth, learning, and anticipation for the ultimate redemption.

LIVE: Simchas Beis Hashoeva in Crown Heights

Tonight at 7:30 pm the annual Simchas Beis Hashoeva celebration will begin with a Mega Kids' Program with Rabbi Levi Goldstein and featuring Mitzvah Boulevard.

Thousands of guests have joined the Crown Heights community for Tishrei in this Hakhel year, creating the largest Simchas Beis Hashoeva in years.

The annual Simchas Beis Hashoeva celebration which takes place in the streets of Crown Heights is expected to be bigger than ever this year.

Longtime organizer Rabbi Yisroel Shemtov, who has been arranging and funding the celebration for over 40 years, has once again ensured a nightly celebration over Chol Hamoed, featuring the biggest stars in Jewish music.

Simchas Beis Hashoeva draws tens of thousands of Jews of all walks of life to Crown Heights. Due to the overflow of the many guests who came to celebrate Hakhel, Simchas Beis Hashoeva will be expanding to the Crown Street intersection of Kingston Avenue, organizers said.

“This allows for more visibility of the stage, and more space for dancing,” they said.

Simchas Beis Hashoeva events were very precious to the Rebbe. The Rebbe encouraged the Chassidim to celebrate each night, and increase the Simcha. Exciting plans for Simchas Beis Hashoeva during this Hakhel year include an exciting children’s program and a full band.

Inside The Home of an Orthodox Jewish Family

By Filmmaker and Photographer: Marcus Hessenberg.

"This year, I went back to New York and revisited Rabbi Yoni Katz. He welcomed me enthusiastically into his home to meet the family and show me what it takes to maintain and Jewish home.

I also met with Rivky, Yoni's wife who also welcomes people from outside the community on to tours around the neighbourhood. Rivky tells me about how Hasidic Jews meet their partners and the role of motherhood in the religion. She talked about the yearning of a woman holding the family together.

Brocha Friedman, Rivky's mother, takes us to her favourite room of the house, The Kosher Kitchen, and tells us what makes food 'Kosher'."

LIVE: 120th Birthday of the Lubavitcher Rebbe

Mark your calendars—a coalition of Crown Heights organizations are uniting to organize a massive community-wide event in honor of Yud Aleph Nissan.

A birthday is more than just cake and presents. Thanks to the Rebbe’s birthday campaign, we know that a birthday holds spiritual significance—“mazalo gover.” Throughout the Rebbe’s leadership, Yud Alef Nissan was never a private day, but rather was celebrated as a public Yom Tov for all Chassidim.

And this year, as we mark the Rebbe’s 120th birthday, is an important year as ever to celebrate the occasion with unity, learning, and inspiration.

On Sunday night, Tes Nissan, April 10, the streets of Eastern Parkway will be blocked off for an in-person event on a massive scale.

Rabbi Moshe Pinson, says he expects to have over 15,000 people in attendance. Rabbi Pinson is the founder of Congregation Bais Shmuel Chabad, leader behind Mikvah Mei Chaya Mushka in Crown Heights, and board member of Bais Rivkah, among other roles. Pinson has been known to successfully move projects to success, while motivating donors and promoting causes. “Our goal is to gather every single member of Anash there,” Pinson says.

The evening of music and inspiration is a huge financial and logistical undertaking, considering the sheer amount of chairs, blockades, and technical savvy needed to pull it off. The Crown Innovative Group—a group of people dedicated to bringing innovative projects for the Crown Heights Community—is behind this event, which is a joint effort of Bais Shmuel – Chabad and Tzivos Hashem. Collive.com is also a proud sponsor of this groundbreaking initiative.

“Yud Alef Nissan is a time of incredible power,” says Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum, director of Tzivos Hashem and a major force behind the planning. After an evening of inspiration and music, a mitzvah tank parade with 120 tanks will embark from 770 to locations all over New York.

Ultimately, the goal of the evening is to bring to reality the Rebbe’s mazal. As the Rebbe writes: “From the days I began going to cheder and perhaps even before then, I had a vision of the ultimate Redemption.” The Rebbe devoted his life to make Moshiach’s coming a reality, and in honor of the Rebbe’s 120th birthday, “together we’re making it happen.” says Yudi Gruenberg of the Crown Innovative Group.
