Terrorist Disguised as Journalist Stabs IDF Soldier
A terrorist wearing the yellow garb of a photojournalist stabbed an IDF soldier on Friday, at the Hazayit checkpoint near Hevron.
According to initial reports, the terrorist - who wore a yellow vest with "PRESS" written on it and who carried photography equipment - loitered near the checkpoint, with Hamas's Al Quds television station broadcasting live.
The Deputy Commander of the IDF's Judea-Samaria Brigade, and the Battalion Commander of the Tsabar Battalion of Givati, were touring the area and scanning for terror activity there following Hamas's declaration of a "Day of Rage," Yediot Aharonot reports.
When the two left their vehicle, the terrorist pulled out a knife, dropped his props, and ran for a soldier who was part of the two commanders' entourage, stabbing him.
The terrorist was shot dead immediately by a senior officer at the site.
The soldier, a 20 year-old man, was evacuated for medical treatment to Shaarei Tzedek hospital in Jerusalem by Magen David Adom (MDA) medics at the scene, and is reportedly in moderate condition.
He has been admitted to the trauma ward and is suffering from deep stab wounds to the upper back and hand and is fully conscious.
A group of Palestinians rioters set fire overnight to a compound housing Joseph's Tomb sparking condemnations from Palestinian and Israeli authorities. The tomb appeared to be unharmed,
Watch 13 year old Ahmed Mansra, who stabbed and seriously wounded two Israelis this week in Jerusalem, thus disputing Palestinian Abbas claim that he was executed in a video of him lying on the street. Haddassah Ein Karem hospital updated that his condition is improving and he will be released from the hospital in the next few days, into the custody of police.

Man Throws Molotov Cocktail Near Yeshiva Students
Police are looking for the man who threw a Molotov cocktail near two Yeshiva University students and then threatened them in Manhattan over the weekend.
The incident happened early Friday afternoon in front of a business near the intersection of 9th Avenue and 37th Street in Hell's Kitchen.
Yosef Rachimi, 19, and a fellow student were in front of a business, when police said a man who appeared to be intoxicated threw the Molotov cocktail at the two young men. The man also shouted, "I'll come back with a knife and kill you."
The bottle, which may have contained alcohol, did burst about 3 feet away from the two students. The contents combusted and started a small fire, the stain of which could still be seen on the sidewalk Monday. Rachimi and his friend were not hurt.
The fire was quickly put out by the business owner, while the man who threw it took off. The authorities were called in and are now looking at this as a possible hate crime.
Rachimi is in New York for a year-long study. He blames the incident on reignited tension overseas between Israel and Palestine. He said he remains undeterred by the violence.
Police said it's not clear yet whether the students or business were the intended target of the attack.
This incident happened just days before Mayor Bill de Blasio visits Israel, where a speech about stopping anti-Semitism is on his agenda.

Two Old Men and an Escalator
For some people, there is nothing you would not do for a good burger.
In the case of these two elderly Polish men it was a battle against an escalator.
The pair have become accidental internet stars in their native country after a video of their struggle to get free food went viral. the shopping centre were reportedly handing out free hamburger to celebrate its opening in the city of Lodz last week.
A video from the event shows the huge crowds making their way up the escalators to the area where the free burgers were being dished out. some desperately hungry shoppers had apparently tried to outsmart the others and run up the downward escalators, including the two elderly men.
Hilarity ensued when the pair epically failed to get up the moving stairs, walking and walking but getting nowhere. they then attempt to dash up the escalator, but are overpowered by it, and struggle for almost a minute while falling over.

Funeral of Rav Yeshayahu Krishevsky HY"D
VIN News - Thousands of people converged on the Bais Yisrael neighborhood in Jerusalem to pay final tribute to a prominent and beloved rabbi, Yeshayahu Akiva Krishevsky, 59, whose was brutally run down today by a Palestinian terrorist while waiting at a bus stop. Rabbi Krishevsly will be laid to rest today in Har Ha’Menuchos Cemetery.
According to eyewitness accounts, after driving his car into the waiting crowd at the bus stop, the terrorist from East Jerusalem then exited his vehicle and proceeded to further attack the wounded, including Rabbi Krishevsky, with an ax. A security guard is being credited with critically shooting the terrorist and saving many lives.
Rabbi Krishvesky leaves behind a son, Schneuer Zalman, a Chabad chassid who residesin Bnei Brak.
Dramatic video footage has emerged showing the moment a security guard gunned down the terrorist who murdered Rabbi Yeshayahu Krishevsky in Jerusalem, after plowing his car into a bus stop and emerging wielding a knife.
The attacker - named as Alaa Abu Jamal, a resident of Jabal Mukhaber in eastern Jerusalem - also injured another man before being killed. The attack was the second deadly terrorist incident in the capital Tuesday, and the fourth terrorist attack nationwide,
The quick-thinking security guard who shot Abu Jamaal likely saved many other lives, as dozens more innocent bystanders looked on.

Crew Member Nearly Eaten Alive by Giant Tarpaulin
A Kansas City Royals grounds crew member was caught on camera being nearly swallowed by tarpaulin during a baseball game on Thursday.
Groundskeeper, Adam Wallace, is shown on video as he pulls a rope to the tarp while other crew members are on the opposite side pushing it as they roll it out before he gets trapped underneath.
It appears the high school senior at Raymore-Peculiar in Missouri slipped on the wet field as he was pulling the rope and is shown attempting scraping to get from underneath it but his left leg gets pinned under the tarp.

Four French tourists survived a 28-foot-fall when the bridge they were crossing collapsed beneath their feet in New Zealand.
Dramatic footage captured the moment the hikers were plunged into the river in Te Urewera National Park. The quartet were on the Lake Waikaremoana Great Walk when a cable on the Hopuruahine Suspension Bridge snapped.
The video shows the friends crossing the bridge carrying their camping gear before they suddenly drop into the water. Fortunately, none of the hikers were seriously injured in the incident
The bridge on the country's North Island spans 215 feet across the river and can carry up to 10 people at one time. Authorities said a manufacturing defect was to blame for the Sept. 3 crash and are investigating whether parts of the cable chain are currently in use in any of the country’s other bridges.

It's an unfortunate fact that any business owner, home owner, or human in general has to protect themselves against theft. In 2013 alone, there were an estimated 1,928,465 burglaries resulting in about $4.5 billion in property losses. That's just in the United States.
This convenience store owner in particular had been robbed multiple times and was sick of letting the thieves get away. So, he set up a clever trap...and recorded what happened.
Crime doesn't pay, but unsuccessful crime caught on camera might make others laugh a whole lot.

50 Lane Traffic Jam
When half of the Chinese population hits the road at the same time, an endless traffic jam seems inevitable - as thousands of Beijing motorists found out yesterday.
Aerial footage has captured the horrendous congestion on a motorway leading to the Chinese capital when holidaymakers made their return journey near the end of National Day celebration.
The incredible gridlock, which took place on one of the country's busiest and widest highways, was caused by a new checkpoint, The jam began at around 2pm just outside the capital city on the G4 Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau Expressway, which has 50 lanes. At the time, hundreds of thousands of Beijing residents were attempting to return home from their trips on the second to the last day of the week-long national holiday.
A mind-boggling video, shot by reporters from Legal Evening News, shows thousands of Beijing-bound vehicles being caught up near a toll for as far as eyes can see. Drivers and passengers chose to pass the time by strolling on the motorway. The congestion was caused by a new checkpoint at the other side of the toll, which reduced the width of the road from 50 to less than 20 lanes.
The shocking scenes were one of the many traffic nightmares across the country yesterday. Motorways in other major cities, such as Shanghai and Nanjing, also saw serious congestion.
Known as the 'Golden Week', the Chinese National Day celebration witnesses an explosion in tourism every year. It's one of the few opportunities for people to get time off work and enjoy a long-distance holiday.
China's National Tourism Administration estimated that more than 750 million Chinese would be on the move between October 1 and 7, which is half of the nation’s population.
