Two days ago we posted a piece by CBC's "The Fifth Estate" with reporter Gillian Findlay who did an extensive piece of journalism taking you inside the ultra-orthodox Jewish community of Lev Tahor, and its leader, Shlomo Helbrans. It included part of an interview with Helbrans.

The main screen displayed a live feed of Alex Clare's Havdalah service and concert, and peaked with a specially made video of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, the inspiration behind the Chabad Teen Network, speaking of the incredible power of youth.

"The Chasidic interpretation of that statement is that if you think the story of Purim is something that happened back in the day, then you have missed the whole point of Purim. Just like G-d's name isn't mentioned in the Megilla, but his presence can be felt throughout the story of Purim, so too, G-d continues to be with us today, every day of our lives."
Featuring an original composition by Cecelia Margules and music by Ruli Ezrachi, The Reveal has a distinctly retro feel, enforcing the timelessness of Purim and all that it teaches us.
"Maybe we don't feel G-d's presence in our everyday lives or maybe we only feel that connection on Yom Kippur at Neilah, but it is there, every single day," says Lipa.

Snow Plow Nearly Takes Out Reporter
FOX 29's Steve Keeley spent all Monday morning in New Jersey covering the snowstorm and wound up having a little mishap with a snowplow.
Keeley got blasted with snow from the plow train while reporting live from the side of the road at a peach orchard in Woodstown. This is the 15th snowstorm Keeley has reported on this winter. Clearly he is a pro at it now. He didn't even miss a beat!

The "ATIME Shas-A-Thon" celebrated an event where the entire Shas was stutied in one day, under one roof, by a group 274 Lomdim. In the months preceding the Siyum a unique group 274 Lomdim prepared and studied their slot of approximately 10 Daf each. On the day of the Siyum each Lomeid reviewed their entire slot in unison under one roof. Following the Siyum an exclusive Seudas Mitzvah - Gourmet Dinner was celebrated befitting such an exceptional occasion for all the Lomdei Hashas and their spouses accompanied by a special entertaining program.
The Siyum HaShas is Lezchus for the couples to merit a Yeshuah as well as a Chizuk to the thousands of couples yearning for a child of their own. The Shas-A-Thon is also a fundraiser to help ATIME continue all of its important services.

Large Wave Comes Through Restaurant
From the author: "My breakfast at Moby Dick's Restaurant while filming the large storm surf breaking on the pier in Santa Barbara, California. The swell increased with every wave that passed. I recall telling people at the table in front of me, the pier will likely be closed soon due to the high surf. One minute later. I see a set of waves approaching and pickup my smart phone to film. The video shows the wave breaking through the restaurant window. The dining room was filled with the sound of glass shattering and people screaming as a wave of water rush over the dining room carpet. Everyone froze including the staff. So, I rushed over to make sure there was not any major injuries. I proceeded to warn everyone of the danger that could follow with the next wave and to evacuate the room. We got the room evacuated without the anymore injuries."

Two ultra-Orthodox brothers from Jerusalem have found new popularity after setting up a dojo in Bnei Brak in which they are training some 200 ultra-Orthodox students in the Brazilian martial art known as Capoeira centuries old self-defense practice that combines dance, acrobatics, and music.
Brothers, Miki and Yehuda Hayat, ages 24 and 20 respectively, have been actively marketing the art form in the predominantly ultra-Orthodox sectors of Jerusalem as an acceptable way for the ultra-Orthodox to participate in martial arts.
The origins of Capoeira date back to the 16th century, when Brazilian slaves took to developing dance moves to conceal the fact they were, in fact, training themselves to fight.

Hundreds Of Thousands Protest Draft In Jerusalem
On Sunday, a huge number of ultra-Orthodox Israelis rallied against the proposed draft law at the entrance to Jerusalem. Hundreds of thousands — organizers said half a million while police put the number at some 300,000 — attended the protest, which sealed off the entrance to the capital for hours. Unlike previous protests, the event was largely peaceful, without clashes between demonstrators and police.

6 Year Old Boy Holds Fundraising Concert For His Zeideh
A concert organized by a six-year-old boy was held in Vancouver to raise money for a very worthy cause. Yosef Nider decided he had to do something on a grand scale when he learned he was going to lose his beloved grandfather to pancreatic cancer. Yosef plays the violin and was the main performer in the show. He has raised $6,000 so far and wants to present his donations to a cancer scientist to buy equipment. The concert took place February 26, 2014,
