"Rabbi of the Pure Hearts: Inside Lev Tahor"
Last week on February 22, "The Global Network" investigative television show "16 X 9" aired a lengthy report which gave a rare inside look into the Chasidic disguised cult which call themselves "Lev Tahor." Just one week later, on Friday February 27, CBC's "The Fifth Estate" did an extensive piece of journalism and even more revealing report than that of the week before.
CBC reporter Gillian Findlay gets inside the ultra-orthodox Jewish community of Lev Tahor, now facing allegations of child abuse, and uncovers troubling facts about the past of its leader, Shlomo Helbrans.

I just hate when people use the word anti semite for nothing, 'we are being persecuted coz they are anti semitic' it's like saying a cop gave me a ticket coz he anti semitic...

I Think it does not mater what we will say these people at lev Tohor have been abandoned by the frum world. We have our own issues with them and because of that we are likely to believe anything negative about them. We even go to the extent to recommend viewing this report and take it for face value. We are so far from them that we prefer to believe a non Jewish reporter that our own Jewish brothers. Lev Tohor has become the thorn to those Jews that have assimilated their Jewishness and hate to admit it.
while I do not agree with all of what lev tohor does , I'm deeply awear that the CBC does not mean only them..iy means any Jew that had taken Judaism seriously. Most people are so naive....they think this is just about Lev tohor....
Forget about the reporter, why don't you go look up some documentaries, and people who have been in the cult and have been lucky enough to come out intact. Hear their story, and then talk. I am a frum chassidish person, please take off your blinders and see it for what it is, for once. Even if you are talking about the report, are you blind to see that this man is a dictator, do you not see the guys in the back shivering and can't answer a thing without "approval", and the inconsistancies in his talk. Please, CBC doesn't put words into his mouth, he does. Please wake up and smell the coffee, cause the pot is burning and little children and their unsuspecting parents are going down the drain. That's who you have to stand up for.
