Back in Feb 2020 before the world pandemic, A Chusen & Kallah booked Chaim Blumenfeld, Sruly Singer productions & Zimra Choir to enhance their wedding. Chaim is well-known with his unique talented voice & style, while Sruly has his own music production focusing on original classics combined with modern DJ. Zimra choir is famous with there harmonic & rich sound.

Chaim, Sruly & Zimra often work together. When notified they will be performing together at the wedding in Crown Plaza, Montreal, they called the videographer Moshe Friedman & his crew to film live the music stage filled with joy and Simcha. To give everyone a chance to "Experience it Live!!".

Each event/Simcha means something special, not only for the family but also for this music group. They’re always striving to get the right feeling, style, song list & music performance curated for the event. What a memorable & emotional event this year at the grand Yaldei dinner in Montreal.

Here is one of the highlights of the event with the king of jewish music MBD with the phenomenal music arranger & director Mendy Hershkowitz combined with the unique and talented zimra Choir producing this heartfull song "Refuainu"

The song goes back to the 90's when Yerachmial Bigun, composer and director of the Miami Boys Choir" performed this song at a HASC concert together with MBD. Now the success replayed when MBD chose it to be the theme of the yaldei event.

Yaldei (Canada) is a non-profit early intervention center, school, and therapy center. We help children with developmental challenges reach their full potential!

Members of Montreal’s community attended "Yaldei’s" 10th annual dinner in a mass wave of support for the hundreds of families that are serviced by the center for children with developmental needs.

The only one of its kind in Quebec, Yaldei is a private, not-for-profit early intervention center dedicated to helping children with developmental challenges reach their full potential. Yaldei’s integration of advanced clinical, behavioral, educational and family support services provides children with the opportunity to learn how to walk, talk, play, attend school and lead productive lives as part of their community.

At this year’s “Yaldei” annual dinner, Maestro Dudi Kalish from Isreal together with Zimra Choir From Canada and the Sheorim Orchestra were performing this artful piece “Shoshanas Yaakov” Composed by the Mudzitz Rabbi the Imrei Shaul in 5680 (1920). featuring Joseph Weberman.

The Art of Arranging an Orchestra - Dudi Kalish

Composer and Choir master Dudi Kalish was flown in from Israel special for Yaldei’s ninth annual dinner in Montreal, Canada at the Crown Plaza Hotel, February 22nd 2015. Together with the Shearim orchestra, they sang popular melodies and performed his own original compositions including a Yiddish song about Yaldei.

He was joined by both the Zimra men’s choir and the Zimra boy’s choir.

During one of his performances, Kalish slowly built up his musical piece, starting with the boy’s choir, adding a little piano, then slowly inserting instrument after instrument – with an addition from the crowd too – until the full 18 piece band, both choirs, the audience and Kalish exploded into a powerful, harmonized pitch perfect melody.

About Refuah V’Chesed

Lately rebranded as the “Montreal Centre for Health and Care,” the volunteer based organization provides many medical, hospitality and transport services to patients and their families Refuah V’Chesed has received over 40,000 calls over the last year. The organization is directed by a board of prestigious people and a medical advisory board. The medical guidance and support is led by Aaron Schmelczer and Aron Friedlander, who have decades of experience in the medical field, and the Director of Development is Avraham Apter.

Most of the dinner’s attendees hailed from Montreal’s Chassidic communities but there was also a healthy contingency of doctors and medical experts from across Montreal and the surrounding area. Free copies of a special printing of Mishnayos Avos (“ethics of our fathers”) was handed out as community members took their seats for a three course meal and entertainment provided by the Zimra choir.

Composer and choir leader Dudi Kalisch was flown in from Israel to Montreal, Canada, last February to perform at the ninth annual dinner of Yaldei, an organization dedicated to helping children with developmental challenges reach their full potential..

Together with the Shearim orchestra, he sang popular melodies as well as his own original compositions. He was joined by both the Zimra men’s choir and the Zimra boy’s choir.

The highlight of the evening was when he debuted a new song he wrote just the night before.

In the video released today, Kalish sings that song once again, this time along with his young son Moshe, and Meir Dov Klein of Montreal.

The dinner was held at the Crowne Plaza where the crowds were welcomed with an 18-piece orchestra and the Zimra Choir and Famed composer and choirmaster Dudi Kalisch was flown in from Israel special for the event and he dazzled together with the Shearim orchestra, singing popular melodies and performing his own original compositions including a beautiful Yiddish song about Yaldei. He was joined by both the Zimra men’s choir and the Zimra boy’s choir.

Kuppy Elbogen & Zimra Choir's at Bonei Olam - Canada

Hundreds of people gathered Monday night November 10 2014. for Bonei Olam’s third dinner in Montreal, featuring inspiring speakers and entertainment by Kuppy Elbogen and the Zimra men's choir along with Zimra’s brand new boys choir.

Bonei Olam is a New York based organization that helps Jewish couples with fertility problems from all over the world by providing funding for fertility treatments and connecting the couple with experts from both the medical and Halachic standpoint as well as support in the form of groups as well as professionals. To date, Bonei Olam has been involved in the birth of over 5000 babies, including many from the Montreal and Tosh communities, where a small branch exists, connecting locals to fertility experts in the area.
