One Fan Sees Divine Hand In Giants' Super Bowl Upset

As cheering crowds welcomed the victorious New York Giants back from Arizona during a tickertape parade through the streets of Manhattan, at least one diehard fan thought he had the answer to the question on everyone’s minds: How did the Giants beat football’s winningest team in perhaps the biggest Super Bowl upset of all time?

Jay Greenfield, 49, said the key to the Giants’ 17-14 win over the then-undefeated New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII had a little bit more to it than mere touchdowns... Click Here for more.

Russia - Putin's Support Gives Clout to Chabad Sect.

The Wall Street Journal.

Russia - Of all the strange relationships that define today's Russia, few are stranger than the alliance between President Vladimir Putin and an ultra-Orthodox rabbi named Berel Lazar.

Rabbi Lazar is a follower of Chabad-Lubavitch, a Hasidic sect based in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, that is on the fringes of mainstream Judaism. Its devotees are known for their love of the Rebbe, their late spiritual leader. Some even think he's the Messiah.

In Russia, the Lubavitch are not a marginal sect but a dominant force in Jewish life. Their leader, Rabbi Lazar, goes by the title of Russia's chief rabbi and is viewed by many to be head of the country's Jewish community.

Thriving on Mr. Putin's patronage, his organization, the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia, is now one of Russia's leading charities, with schools, clinics, orphanages and community centers across the country. Some credit it with single-handedly reviving Jewish life in the Russian hinterlands. But critics charge its success is based on a Faustian bargain with the Kremlin. They say Rabbi Lazar has at times deliberately played down anti-Semitism in Russia and acted as a lobbyist for Mr. Putin around the world. In exchange, Chabad-Lubavitch enjoys unparalleled political influence and has been allowed to gain control of millions of dollars worth of communal property from the Russian state, often trouncing rival claims from other Jewish organizations, critics say.

"There were always court Jews under the Czars, under the Soviets," says Yevgeny Satanovsky, a Jewish community leader. "Lazar is firmly in that tradition."

Jimmy Carter: Jew-Hater, Genocide-Enabler, Liar

By David Horowitz
FrontPageMagazine.com December 14, 2006

Even as Islamic Hitlerites gather in Iran to deny the first Holocaust of the Jews and to plot the second, former president Jimmy Carter tours America with a new book that describes Jews as racists and oppressors, and suggests they are also a conspiratorial mafia that intimidates “critics,” controls America’s media and war policy, and are therefore also the source of Islamic terrorism and the Arabs’ genocidal campaign to eliminate them from the map of the Middle East.

In other words, Americans beware of the Jew in your midst.

Here is Carter’s description of the Middle East conflict in his own words, delivered during an interview he gave on National Public Radio during the second day of the Holocaust deniers’ conference in Teheran:

“I have spent a lot of time in Palestine in recent years. … The Palestinians have had their own land, first of all, occupied and then confiscated and then colonized. They’ve been excluded from their own gardens and fields, and pastures and churches. They have been severely restrained in their movements. They have to have different kinds of passes to go through different checkpoints inside their own lands on their own roads. The Israelis have built more than 200 settlements inside Palestine. They connect these settlements with very nice roads for the Israeli settlers, and then superhighways and so forth going into Jerusalem. Quite often the Palestinians are prevented from even riding on those roads that have been built in their own territory. So this has been in many ways worse than it was in South Africa.”

When hundreds of millions of Muslims are calling for the extermination of the Jews of Israel this is more than a lie; it is a blood libel.

It is a lie that Palestinians “had their own land, first of all, occupied.” This is like saying that Texans had their own land occupied by Hispanics, ignoring the fact that Hispanics were there first. The very word Palestine is a Roman appellation for the people called Philistines, who were not Arabs but red-haired sailors from the Aegean. The Jews were there as well.

In short, first of all the Jews were in the land before the Arabs.

Second of all, the Arabs who inhabited the Palestine Mandate in 1948, at the time of the creation the state of Israel, considered themselves Syrians.

Third, the Palestine Mandate was not created on land taken from the Syrians or the Arabs. It was taken from the Turks.

It was not taken from the Turks by the Jews, but by the British and the French. They took it because Turkey sided with Germany in the First World War and, of course, lost. The Turkish empire had ruled the entire region including Syrian, Lebanon, Iraq and Jordan for four hundred years before Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Jordan were artificially created by the English and the French. Jordan – a state whose majority is Palestinian – occupies 80% of the Palestine Mandate.

So it is a preposterous lie to say that the Palestinians had their own land and that it was occupied by the Jews.

Fourth, the individual plots of land that Jews now own were in the first instance bought from the Arabs who regarded themselves as Syrians and who lived in the area of Israel. The only property that was confiscated was confiscated as a spoil of the aggressive war that five Arab states waged against Israel from the day of its birth. Five Arab armies invaded Israel, a sovereign state, with the declared intent of “pushing the Jews into the sea.” The cry today of the Muslim majority in the Middle East is to “liberate Palestine from the river to the sea.” In other words push the Jews into the sea.

By the standards of occupation and legitimacy Jimmy Carter invokes, Israel has more legitimacy as a Jewish state than Texas does as an American state, rather than a Mexican province.

The fifth Jimmy Carter lie in this lone Jimmy Carter sentence is the claim that the Jews have colonized anything. “The Israelis have built more than 200 settlements inside Palestine.”

Why is it wrong of the Jews to live in the West Bank? (The 7000 Jews of Gaza, of course, have already been expunged as result of the Arabs’ genocidal hate.) Why can’t Jews have settlements in the West Bank?

The answer is because the Palestinians Arabs are filled with a racist and theocratic hate towards the Jews. They can’t tolerate a non-Muslim, non-Arab people --however small a minority -- living in their midst. (The 7000 Jews of Gaza – out of a population of 1.2 million – were law-abiding and peaceful and created a horticultural industry that produced ten percent of Gaza’s gross national product. But they were Jews. And that was intolerable to Palestine’s Nazis. So they had to be removed.)

Contrast Carter’s attack on Jews living in the West bank as “colonizers” who must be expelled with the fact that more than a million Arabs live in Israel, where Israel provides them with more rights – including the right to vote and elect Arab members of Israel’s government – than any Arab who lives in any Arab state in the Middle East.

There is indeed a wall now between Israel and the Palestinian Arabs. But it is not a wall to keep Arabs out of Israel because they are Arab, as Carter maliciously maintains. There are more than a million Arabs living in Israel. There are indeed checkpoints in the West Bank and into Israel and obstacles to Palestinians crossing them. But this is not because the Israelis discriminate against Palestinians because they are Muslims or Arabs.

It is because too many Palestinians have shown themselves to be bloodthirsty, murderers who have been indoctrinated by their religious leaders and their government to believe in a sick Islamic fantasy that it is their Muslim duty to kill Jews by blowing themselves up; and that, if they do so, they will go to heaven along with 70 members of their family; and, that, if they are lucky enough to be male they will be rewarded by 72 virgins on the other side.

On this side they will be regarded as martyrs and saints and honored by their government. Sixty-percent of Palestinians support suicide bombing and this sick, genocidal agenda – which is shared by all members of the Palestinians’ democratically elected government – to kill the Jews.

To ignore these facts and to invert them, as Jimmy Carter does, is to mark yourself as a moral defective.

To take on as a mission the spreading of lies that enable Islamic Nazis to carry out their final solution is the epitome of the evil that America’s fifth column left and its reprehensible ex-President represent in our time.

Whose Answer to Finkel?

The following was sent to Gruntig by a reader:

I found this hanging on the wall in one of the shtieblach in Monsey. After reading it I decided to tear it down for two reasons. Number one, I wanted to bring it home so I can show others (including yourself). Number two, I thought this was so extreme or plain out hostile. If there was a name signed at the end, I would have thunk twice, since who am I to mix into someone else's opinions, but who does the author of this letter think he is to release his personal anger by anonymously writing in the name of the entire Monsey such stupidity and then to post it all over town!

Moshe Finkel Asks for Forgiveness

The following was sent to Gruntig by a reader:

"A shiver went down my spine when I brought my mail into my house on Friday Erev Yom Tov and saw an envelope with this return address. I wondered then what this man would be sending to my address!"
Below is the Copy of the letter.

in Skver Even the Fish Talk!

There was a discussion on Rabbi Yehuda Shain's Blog “yudel's Rest of the Story” (I’m not certain if in fact it is truly him) disputing if Moish Finkel - the owner of “Shevach Meat” who was involved in the "Treife meat scandal" in Monsey- is a Skeverer chossid or not. In till it was determined that only “Mr. Green” the owner of Hatzlachah Grocery who was not involved in the scandal is essentially Skver but Moish Finkel is Litvish.
One commentator brought evidence confirming that in fact Mr. finkel is not Skver. He wrote "HE MOST CERTAINLY COULD NOT BE SKVER, IN SKVER EVEN THE FISH TALK, THIS GUY JUST KEPT SILENT ALL ALONG!"

A 5-year-old girl was struck and killed Tuesday morning while trying to board a school bus in Brooklyn.

The girl, Chana Friedlander, was apparently preparing to get on a school bus on Marcy Avenue in the Williamsburg section when a sport utility vehicle drove around the bus and hit her.

The girl was taken to Brooklyn Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Monsey students burn newspaper, ignore evacuation order

MONSEY — A newspaper was ignited inside a men's rest room at a College Road school, and young people there refused firefighters' orders to leave the building, police said yesterday.

When firefighters responding to the automatic alarm arrived late Wednesday, they smelled smoke and ordered people to leave the synagogue and school.

They youngsters would not leave until Ramapo police arrived.

"They laughed when the fire chief ordered everyone out," Ramapo Detective Sgt. John Lynch said yesterday.

Police were interviewing those involved to see if any would be charged with interfering with the duties of firefighters.

"We don't know at this point if the behavior rose to the level of criminal charges," Lynch said.

Arson investigators also were trying to determine who set the newspaper on fire.

The Tallman Volunteer Fire Department was called to Congregation Anshe Sfard at 38 College Road shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday, after the alarm was activated.

Firefighters smelled smoke in the building, Assistant Chief Scott Meier said.

"When we asked them to evacuate, they laughed at us," Meier said. "They wouldn't move until the cops got there."

There was no damage to the building, authorities said.

A young man went into the men's room and burned Wednesday's edition of The New York Post, which had a picture of three women in bathing suits on its front page, police said.

Firefighters said they were angry that those in the school didn't follow their orders.

"We're the ones getting out of bed at 11 o'clock at night to protect them," Meier said. "What will it take for them to cooperate with us? Do we have to pull one of them out of a building dead one night?"

Rockland Fire and Emergency Services Coordinator Gordon Wren Jr. said one problem was that no adults were supervising the high school-age congregants.

He also said the students had turned off the alarms.

"I would think things would have been done differently if adults were there," Wren said.

Wren said the school needed a plan in case of fire. He said school administrators needed to emphasize that students should leave the building when an alarm sounds.

"When the alarms go off, people should leave a building with no questions asked," Wren said. "In this case, the alarms went off and they silenced it."

Palestinian Grief Through A Distorted Lens

It was another one of those pictures that goes instantly around the world. A young Palestinian, wailing in wretched sorrow, grieving over her dead father, stepmother and five siblings, killed by an explosion on a Gaza beach. Then came the blame. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas (he's the moderate) immediately called the killings an act of Israeli "genocide" and, to dramatize the crime, legally adopted the bereaved girl.
The sensational coverage and sensational charges raise the obvious question: Why would Israel deliberately shell a peaceful family on a beach?

The Israeli government, clumsy as ever, seemed to semi-apologize by expressing regret about the deaths, implying that perhaps they had been caused by an errant Israeli shell targeting a Palestinian rocket base. But then a few days later, an army investigation concluded that it was not Israel's doing at all.
First, because the shrapnel taken from the victims (treated at Israeli hospitals - some "genocide") were not the ordnance used in Israeli artillery. Second, because aerial photography revealed no crater that could have been caused by Israeli artillery. And third, because Israel could account for five of the six shells it launched at the rocket base nearby, and the missing one had been launched at least five minutes before the one that killed the family.
An expert at a local chapter of a human rights group disputes the Israeli claims. Okay. Let's concede for the sake of argument that the question of whether it was an errant Israeli shell remains unresolved. But the obvious question not being asked is this: Who is to blame if Palestinians are setting up rocket launchers to attack Israel - and placing them 400 yards from a beach crowded with Palestinian families on the Muslim Sabbath?
Answer: This is just another example of the Palestinians' classic and cowardly human-shield tactic - attacking innocent Israeli civilians while hiding behind innocent Palestinian civilians. For Palestinian terrorists - and the Palestinian governments (both Fatah and Hamas) that allow them to operate unmolested - it's win-win: If their rockets aimed into nearby Israeli towns kill innocent Jews, no one abroad notices and it's another success in the terror war against Israel. And if Israel's preventative and deterrent attacks on those rocket bases inadvertently kill Palestinian civilians, the iconic "Israeli massacre" picture makes the front page of The New York Times, and the Palestinians win the propaganda war.
But there is an even larger question not asked. Whether the rocket bases are near civilian beaches or in remote areas, why are the Gazans launching any rockets at Israel in the first place - about 1,000 in the last year?
To get Israel to remove its settlers, end the occupation and let the Palestinians achieve dignity and independence? But Israel did exactly that in Gaza last year. It completely evacuated Gaza, dismantled all its military installations, removed its soldiers, destroyed all Israeli settlements and expelled all 7,000 Israeli settlers. Israel then declared the line that divides Israel from Gaza to be an international frontier. Gaza became the first independent Palestinian territory ever.
And what have the Palestinians done with this independence, this judenrein territory under the Palestinians' own control? They have used their freedom to ... launch rockets at civilians in nearby Israeli towns.
Why? Because the Palestinians prefer victimhood to statehood. They have demonstrated that for 60 years, beginning with their rejection of the United Nations decision to establish a Palestinian state in 1947, because it also would have created a small Jewish state next door. They declared war instead.
Half a century later, at the Camp David summit with President Bill Clinton, Israel renewed the offer of a Palestinian state - with its capital in Jerusalem, with not a single Jewish settler remaining in Palestine, and on a contiguous territory encompassing 95% of the West Bank (Israel making up the other 5% with pieces of Israel proper).
The Palestinian answer? War again - Arafat's terror war, aka the second intifada, which killed a thousand Jews.
This embrace of victimhood, of martyrdom, of blood and suffering, is the Palestinian disease. They are offered their own independent state. They are given all of Gaza. And they respond with rocket attacks into peaceful Israeli towns - in pre-1967 Israel proper, mind you.
What can Israel do but try to take out those rocket bases and their crews? What would the U.S. do if rockets were raining into San Diego from across the border with Mexico?
Now look again at that terrible photograph and ask yourself: Who is responsible for the heartrending grief of that poor Palestinian girl?

What A Disgrace!

Once the previous Satmar Rebbe R' Yoel Teitelbaum OBM was walking through the street with a few of his Chassidim when they past a Litvisher Yid who was a God fearing man and a Talmud Chochom (I think it was Reb Moshe Sherer OBM, it was Reb Mike Tress OBM). When they approached each other The Satmer'r Rebbe stopped and spoke with him for a few minutes, and then continued on his journey.

As the Rebbe’s stroll with his Chassidim moved on one Chosid asked the Satmar Rebbe "Rebbe, how did you speak with that Jew, he has no beard?!"

The Rebbe answered him "after 120 years when that man goes to heaven the heavenly court will ask him 'Reb Yid where is your beard?" when you go to heaven they will ask you 'Reb Bord (beard) where is your Yid!'"

These guys in the video below, I don't know if they are Satmar Chassidim, but what I do know is that they certainly claim they are. They should take some time to think hard about that story of their own Rebbe who they claim to follow.

Satmar Rebbe Passes Away

NEW YORK -- Rabbi Moses Teitelbaum, the spiritual leader of an ultra-Orthodox Jewish sect with tens of thousands of followers worldwide, died Monday at age 91.

Teitelbaum, the rebbe, or grand rabbi, of Satmar Hassidim since 1980, died at Mount Sinai Hospital, said community leader Isaac Abraham. He entered the hospital on March 30 and was being treated for spinal cancer and other ailments.

Thousands of mourners crammed into Teitelbaum's Brooklyn synagogue waiting for his body to be brought into the building's main sanctuary. Thousands more congregated on the streets outside; police sent hundreds of officers to control the crowds.

"I felt like I lost a father," said Leo Steinberg, one of those gathered inside the synagogue.

A burial was to immediately follow in the town of Kiryas Joel, about 45 miles northwest of New York City. Under Jewish law, the dead must be buried as quickly as possible.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who planned to attend the funeral, called Teitelbaum "a gentle soul who carried himself with poise and distinction."

"From the fires of the Holocaust, the grand rebbe and his uncle performed a miracle here in New York by rebuilding their community to match its glory days in Europe," Bloomberg said in a statement.

The question of who will succeed the rebbe as spiritual leader now looms high. Two of his sons, Aaron and Zalmen Teitelbaum, have been feuding over that question, and the next leader will inherit a group that has some 120,000 followers worldwide.

The job of a grand rabbi is hugely important to the sect because the rebbe serves as "an intermediary between his followers and God," said Samuel Heilman, a professor of sociology at Queens College who studies Orthodox Jewish sects. "He is a father to thousands of people."

The rebbe gives advice on political domestic issues. "Followers come to him with all sorts of questions, which range from 'who should I marry, should I undergo this particular surgery,' anything that's important in a Hasid's life, they will check with the rebbe," Heilman said.

The grand rabbi also presides over the sect's schools, camps, a matzo factory and loan company.

The Satmars emphasize tradition and adhere to a strict dress code -- long skirts for women, long black coats, black hats and long beards for men. Marriages are arranged, and married women must keep their heads covered. The sect takes its name from the town of Satu Mare in what is now Romania.

Sect followers are so single-minded in their devotion to tradition they even oppose the state of Israel, because they believe that biblically Jewish sovereignty over the ancient Land of Israel can come only with the Messiah.

The Satmar Hasidic sect has between 65,000 to 75,000 disciples in the United States, 95 percent of whom live in New York state, said Heilman. There are large congregations in Williamsburg and Kiryas Joel.

The dispute over who will succeed Teitelbaum has been brewing for years. In 2004, a judge in Brooklyn refused to rule in the sons' dispute over the heir to the Satmar sect, saying the matter was for the grand rabbi to decide.

Teitelbaum had tapped Zalmen Teitelbaum to run the Williamsburg congregation and Aaron to take over the village of Kiryas Joel, but on the larger question of which one should prevail, the grand rabbi remained silent.

Ultimately, a will may resolve the dispute, Heilman said.

Besides a traditional will, Heilman said, Teitelbaum may have left a moral will that could leave his disciples a message or hint at who should be the primary leader.

The professor suggested that in the end there may be more than one leader, which he said would not be unprecedented among Jewish sects.

The Lubavitcher Hassidim have been without a leader since the death in 1994 of its grand rabbi, Menachem Mendel Schneerson, who left no children and did not designate a new rebbe. And the death last year of the head of the Bobov Hassidim touched off a battle for succession between his half brother and a son-in-law.

Teitelbaum was born in Siget, in present-day Romania. He escaped Nazi persecution during World War II and came to the United States in 1946. Teitelbaum took over leadership of the Satmar sect from his uncle Rabbi Joel Teitelbaum, who died childless in 1979 at age 93. He took the formal title of rebbe the following year.

Joel Teitelbaum, Moses Teitelbaum's uncle, was imprisoned in Nazi concentration camps during World War II before escaping to Israel and eventually settling in Brooklyn and Kiryas Joel -- named "Village of Joel" in his honor -- after the war.

The village was incorporated in 1977 and became the center of a legal battle over separation of church and state when lawmakers sought to create a public school district to provide special education programs.

Teitelbaum is survived by four sons, two daughters and dozens of grandchildren.

One of his granddaughters and her 5-month-old daughter were killed in 2000 in a fire ignited by candles lit for the holiday of Shavuot, a festival commemorating God's presentation of the commandments to Moses on Mount Sinai.

The World Series in Israel

Politics to Israelis is like sports to Americans.
They get so involved. Especially now with the elections, to see all the Israeli bochurim get all excited. It reminds of like when a big sports event takes place in the US.
At least once in every four years, just like the Olympics.
They don't really have any sports, so good for them!

“Israel is nothing but a ‘sh--ty little country’.”

Written by: Michael Savage.

During a reception at the home of a leading columnist for the London Daily Telegraph, Daniel Bernard, French ambassador to England, told guests that the world’s current troubles were all the fault of “…that sh--ty little country, Israel.”

“Why,” he asked, “should the world be in danger of World War Three because of those people?”
Of course, for hypocrisy and anti-Semitism, there’s no one like the French… after all, they’re the same folks who wouldn’t allow their German conquerors during World War II to trouble themselves to round up the Jews in France… so the French happily and dutifully rounded them up themselves, and turned them over to the Germans…

But… is Israel really a “sh--ty little country”? A closer look would reveal that France should follow the Israeli example. After all… Israel, the 100th smallest country in the world, with less than 1/1000th of the world's population, can lay claim to the following:

The cell phone was developed in Israel by Israelis working in the Israeli branch of Motorola, which has its largest development center in Israel.

Most of the Windows NT and XP operating systems were developed by Microsoft-Israel.

The Pentium MMX Chip technology was designed in Israel at Intel.

Both the Pentium-4 microprocessor and the Centrino processor were entirely designed, developed and produced in Israel.

The Pentium microprocessor in your computer was most likely made in Israel.

Voice mail technology was developed in Israel.

Both Microsoft and Cisco built their only R&D facilities outside the US in Israel.

The technology for the AOL Instant Messenger ICQ was developed in 1996 by four young Israelis.

Israel has the fourth largest Air Force in the world (after the U.S., Russia and China). In addition to a large variety of other aircraft, Israel's air force has an aerial arsenal of over 250 F-16's. This is the largest fleet of F-16 aircraft outside of the U. S.

Israel's $100 billion economy is larger than all of its immediate neighbors combined.

Israel has the highest percentage in the world of home computers per capita

According to industry officials, Israel designed the airline industry's most impenetrable flight security. US officials now look (finally) to Israel for advice on how to handle airborne security threats.

Israel has the highest ratio of university degrees to the population in the world.

Israel produces more scientific papers per capita than any other nation by a large margin - 109 per 10,000 people --as well as one of the highest per capita rates of patents filed.

In proportion to its population, Israel has the largest number of startup companies in the world.

In absolute terms, Israel has the largest number of startup companies than any other country in the world, except the U.S. (3,500 companies mostly in hi-tech).

With more than 3,000 high-tech companies and startups, Israel has the highest concentration of hi-tech companies in the world -- apart from the Silicon Valley, U. S.

Israel is ranked #2 in the world for venture capital funds right behind the U.S.

Israel has the highest average living standards in the Middle East.

The per capita income in 2000 was over $17,500, exceeding that of the UK.

On a per capita basis, Israel has the largest number of biotech startups.

Twenty-four per cent of Israel's workforce holds university degrees, ranking third in the industrialized world, after the United States and Holland and 12 per cent hold advanced degrees.

Israel is the only liberal democracy in the Middle East.

When Golda Meir was elected Prime Minister of Israel in 1969, she became the world's second elected female leader in modern times.

Israel was the first nation in the world to adopt the Kimberly process, an international standard that certifies diamonds as "conflict free."

Israel has the world's second highest per capita of new books.

Israel is the only country in the world that entered the 21st century with a net gain in its number of trees, made more remarkable because this was achieved in an area considered mainly desert.

Israel has more museums per capita than any other country.

Medicine... Israeli scientists developed the first fully computerized, no-radiation, diagnostic instrumentation for breast cancer.

An Israeli company developed a computerized system for ensuring proper administration of medications, thus removing human error from medical treatment. Every year in U. S. hospitals 7,000 patients die from treatment mistakes.

Israel's Givun Imaging developed the first ingestible video camera, so small it fits inside a pill. Used to view the small intestine from the inside, cancer and digestive disorders.

Researchers in Israel developed a new device that directly helps the heart pump blood, an innovation with the potential to save lives among those with heart failure. The new device is synchronized with the camera, helps doctors diagnose heart's mechanical operations through a sophisticated system of sensors.

Israel leads the world in the number of scientists and technicians in the workforce, with 145 per 10,000, as opposed to 85 in the U. S., over 70 in Japan, and less than 60 in Germany. With over 25% of its work force employed in technical professions, Israel places first in this category as well.

An Israeli company was the first to develop and install a large-scale solar-powered and fully functional electricity generating plant, in southern California's Mojave Desert.

All the above while engaged in regular wars with an implacable enemy that seeks its destruction and an economy continuously under strain by having to spend more per capita on its own protection than any other county on earth.

And unlike France, Israel actually wins its wars. THANK GOD.

THE TEST BLUES.

T.T.T.O: IT HAPPENED YOM KIPPURE .

It happened one Thursday as they walked into sader
the rest were on time but Chaim came later.
it said in the sign there will be a test
it could jeopardize the Shlichus quest.

Chaim turned around to his friend beside him,
Levi advise me before I go write'em
give me a brochoh I should have hatzlochoh
and lets hope we I'll cheat again.

oh Chaim my friend do not be dejected
you're learning in O.T. you'll be protected,
sit-beside a Bochur during the test
who Studies and learns his best.

whisper to him when he'll be with you
teach him the Mitzvah to love every Jew
"Hashem yishmor tzaisicha" safe and secure
in till you'll be sleeping once more!
