Man Risks his Life Trying to Free Bear
A Russian man risked his life trying to save a brown bear with its head stuck in a giant tin while it was scavenging for food.
But before he could free it from the container the wild beast ran off into the forest and has still not been found. The man got dangerously close to the young brown bear and used what appears to be a bicycle tyre to try and pull the container off the wild animal's head.
After hooking the tyre round the green tub, he tried to yank it off the bear's head.
Despite the creature running off the man then chases after the stricken animal and tries again to hook the tyre round its head.
At one point he scurries away from the agitated bear as it runs towards him still trapped in the container. He makes four attempts to free the predator before it runs off into the forest while his friend films the rescue bid.
The video was shot in Russia's coldest Yakutia region, also known as the Sakha Republic, it is believed.

Milton Kramer Sings for the 6th Lubavitcher Rebbe
Milton Kramer, 99, OBM
Milton (Yechiel Michel) Kramer, blessed by the Previous Rebbe , Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok, with long life, passed away this week at age 99. His family was instrumental in establishing Chabad-Lubavitch in America, in saving the Previous Rebbe from the Nazis, and in acquiring the building at 770 Eastern Parkway to be Lubavitch World Headquarters.
Kramer was privileged to have attended a Farbrengen during the Previous Rebbe’s visit to America in 1930. As a young boy of 10 at the time, he merited to sing at the farewell Melava Malka in his uncle’s home.
Several years ago, as part of the My Encounter with the Rebbe project, Kramer reminisced about this event.
“My uncle, Sam Kramer, was a camera buff and he took pictures, silent movies and those are the movies that we turned over to Lubavitch, and they’re part of the record. I was actually ten years old,” Milton reminisced. “My father gave me a nudge, he said ‘Michel’e zing, zing, zing,’ and that’s what happened...”
Following his family’s storied tradition of recording history and in establishing the historic record, Milton was also instrumental in the release of his uncle’s historic films of the Previous Rebbe in one of JEM’s earliest productions, “America is No Different.”
May his memory be for a blessing.

Tourist's Hilarious Misunderstanding of Bungy Jump
This is the hilarious moment a Chinese tourist fails to leap from a bungee platform - because she doesn't understand the English word 'jump'.
In the video, the woman is seen smiling and waving at the camera as she makes her way onto the platform at the Kawarau Gorge Suspension Bridge in New Zealand.
But it all takes an odd turn when the instructors count down for her to take the plunge - and she remains standing with her arms out on the ledge. They then try to count down for her to jump again, yelling 'Go! Get out out here!' but the woman just begins screaming. The bungee jumper and her instructor are clearly bemused by the language barrier - briefly laughing with each other on the platform.
He said: 'You're still here! What are you doing?
'Just do it yeah?'
After she has been stood for two minutes, another instructor takes charge, motioning that she has to jump from the ledge with his arms.
It's only then that the woman takes the plunge, joyfully launching herself into the air.

Refuah Helpline - 36 Hours Campaign - $1,000,000
What is Refuah Helpline? How can I help? Why now? Why me?
With just 36 hours to raise $1,000,000, every dollar counts.
Who is Refuah?
Refuah Helpline is comprised of ordinary people who choose to take extraordinary measures to solve the medical mysteries from diagnosis to treatment. When a patient contacts Refuah, it’s as if someone is holding his hand and shouldering the burden. Locked doors open and sought after doctors become available at the request of Refuah Helpline’s connectivity in the medical space.
Someone you know and love is affected by cancer. Young mothers and fathers, innocent boys and girls. Medical terminology and treatment plans make people feel so alone and confused. In the midst of supper, homework and bedtime, there’s so much fear filtering through. Which doctor will be the right shaliach? How do we know if invasive surgery will help? Is there even a cure for advanced stage lymphoma? There’s no appointment and the dreaded curse is rapidly spreading.
Thousands of people have already committed to give. On August 28th and 29th--, GIVE WITH ME. Every dollar will be matched, making your donation matter so much more.

Two Fish Having An Argument
These two fish were in a fish tank when they began fighting in a very unusual manner. After filling their mouths with sand, they took turns spitting the sand at one another.
Dad Knocked a Flying Bat Out of the Air
Lightening quick reactions from one dad at a Mets baseball game in New York last week saw him stopping a baseball bat from slamming his kids directly in the face.
The father of two young boys who were sitting beside him at the game were unawares as to the drama that was happening directly above their heads as it all happened so fast.
A player had just taken a swing when the bat suddenly broke apart sending an enormous chunk flying into the crowd. Slow-motion footage captures the moment as the giant splinter of a bat as hurled through the air towards horrified spectators. Everyone appears to have their eyes on the bat from the ground staff on the field to countless others sitting in their seats.
All of a sudden, the bat's course as it careered towards the stand is suddenly interrupted, as an eagle-eyed father reaches out and grabs it in midair so as to knock it off course away from danger.
One of the dad's son's turned to look up at him, no doubt in disbelief as to what were almost super-human abilities.

Dudi Knopfler feat. Mendy Worch - ביים רבי׳ן אויף ראש השנה
R’ Nachman M’Breslov famously says, that it’s a big ענין that one should make a כריז (announcement) about Uman Rosh Hashana. The idea is that everybody should be זוכה to join in the tremendous experience that is Uman Rosh Hashana. Dudi Knopfler took this concept to the next level by releasing an amazing new song ״ביים רבי׳ן אויף ראש השנה״.
This song came about in an amazing way. About a week ago, Dudi was performing at a beautiful Kumzits in Manhattan; and was singing and playing around with some new tunes. As Dudi was playing a certain tune, one of the crowd members, talented singer Mendy Worch, approached Dudi and was very moved by this tune. Mendy added in his own melody to help create this beautiful song. After a few renditions of this song with the crowd clearly this was something special. After such an inspiring evening, Dudi and Mendy sat down and collaborated on this song. Dudi chose this amazing concept for the lyrics with the hope that it will inspire the listener with געגועים to the Heilige R’ Nachman M’Breslov and merit Simcha Kol Hashana!
