Cairo has been pumping water into Gaza's underground network of tunnels to stop the flow of weapons from the coastal envoy to militants in Sinai.
Tunnel-builders said Egypt has pumped in water several times since September, and that over the course of a few weeks had done more damage to the network, which once accounted for an estimated 30 percent of Gaza's imports, than the occasional Israeli bombing had caused over the past two decades.
Now, the diggers said, fewer than 20 tunnels remain for commercial goods, with easy-to-smuggle cigarettes the main contraband. No one can, or will, say how many weapons tunnels remain - a secret that is guarded by Hamas and other armed groups, which last fought a war with Israel in 2014.

Kicking off the International Conference of Shluchim, thousands of Shluchim and Anash gathered at Oholei Torah in Crown Heights to welcome 6 new Torah scrolls on Wednesday.
The Torahs were generously sponsored by philanthropist Mr. Leonardo Farkas of Chile, which were completed and designated for use at six Chabad Houses around the globe.
Singer Avraham Fried entertained and a children enjoyed a special program featuring singer Chaim Fogelman and other entertainment.
After the completion of the writing, the Sifrei Torah were led along Eastern Parkway toward 770, where the traditional Hakofos were held.

The image of a city skyline appeared floating in the clouds above the cities of Jiangxi and Foshan on Oct. 7 — and skeptics are starting to question its origin.
Scientists say Chinese residents witnessed what is a mirage called a Fata Morgana — but conspiracy theorists were quick to jump in calling it part of a secret project by NASA..
The Fata Morgana is created when temperatures cause light to bounce and bend through different layers of air, Prof. Kenneth Bowman from Texas A&M University told the Christian Science Monitor. "It's not exactly a reflection because it's not a mirror but it's like looking through a lens and you're seeing the surface at a long distance away but it looks like it's floating up in the atmosphere," Bowman said. The mirage was most likely a reflection of a small island that, when stretched vertically, almost looks like a skyscraper, according to meteorologist Jesse Ferrell.
Despite the science backing up the phenomenon, conspiracy theorists still believe the vision could be part of a suspected NASA project called Project Blue Beam — which will use holograms to simulate alien invasions. Local Leaders Denounced Stabbing, Reward Offered
A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a man who attacked Last Night an off-duty Hatzolah worker in Crown Heights
David Katz, an off-duty medic volunteer with Hatzolah, a private EMS organization that serves Jewish communities, was walking at Eastern Parkway and Rogers Avenue in Crown Heights when he was attacked from behind around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Police spent the overnight and early morning scouring the area for evidence as they try to find the suspect. Extra police officers were on patrol Wednesday morning near Eastern Parkway, and fliers had been posted asking for tips about the case,
The attack is being investigated as a bias crime because detectives say there is no other obvious motive. The investigation continues with numerous NYPD agencies involved, including counterterrorism and intelligence.

Parachute Saves Plane from Crashing
A Springdale, Arkansas resident captured video of a small plane as it made an emergency landing Tuesday morning near Fayetteville High School.
Kelly King of Springdale said the plane "just fell out of the sky" on MLK Jr. Blvd, right across from the high school. The plane was equipped with a parachute.
News affiliate KHOG, citing the Washington County Sheriff's Department, reports the plane experienced oil pressure problems and was forced to make an emergency landing. After the plane landed, police say a pickup truck crashed into the plane.
Three men were on board the airplane, including former Walmart U.S. CEO Bill Simon, who was piloting the aircraft. The three on the plane, plus the driver of the pickup, were all transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, according to KHOG.

Hatzalah Volunteer Stabbed in Crown Heights
At around 8:30 Tuesday evening, a 34-year-old Orthodox Jewish man – who happens to be a volunteer for Hatzalah – was stabbed in the back by an assailant who snuck up on him from behind. The incident occurred on Eastern Parkway between Nostrand and Rogers Avenues in Crown Heights.
Previous reports that there were two stabbing victims are unfounded. An unrelated emergency medical call to Hatzalah that occurred around the same time appears to have led to the confusion.
The victim was walking westbound along Eastern Parkway – about 150 feet before Rogers Ave. – when the incident occurred. Police say the assailant first walked by him going eastbound, and then after they passed each other he turned around and stabbed him in the back.
The man radioed for help from his fellow Hatzalah volunteers, and then managed to walk himself to the intersection of Eastern Parkway and Rogers Avenue, leaving a trail of blood behind him. He collapsed just as a Hatzalah ambulance arrived at the scene.
The victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital where he was treated for a deep laceration to his upper back. Sources tell CrownHeights.info that doctors stitched up the wound and expect the victim to be released within twenty-four hours.
The assailant escaped from the scene and is still at large. Witness accounts describe the man as wearing a hoodie and a mask covering his face, though this has not been confirmed.
There is no word yet from police on whether or not they believe this incident to be terror related, but are treating it as a possible bias incident and detectives from the Hate Crimes Task-force are investigating.

Kever Yosef Torched by Palestinians Restored
Kever Yosef in the Palestinian city of Nablus was restored and repaired Tuesday night by the Shomron Regional Council after it was set ablaze and severely damaged by Palestinian rioters last month.
A team of 50 workers, including stone masons, painters, welders, and electricians arrived at the site at 1:00 a.m., with an IDF escort, to carry out the necessary repairs and worked at the site through the night until approximately 6:00 a.m. to complete the restoration.
The most serious damage was done to the stone tomb itself inside the external structure. The rioters smashed and broke several marble panels overlaid on the tomb, breaking them with hammers, iron bars and other implements.
The restoration work replaced the marble around the tomb, as well as repainting the site, and repairing and replacing lighting and other aspects of the site’s infrastructure which were damaged in the attack.
Under the Oslo Accords, Jews are allowed regular access to the site but Jewish worshipers can currently only access the tomb once a month in the middle of the night, when the IDF secures the roads that lead to the tomb.
The Book of Joshua records that the biblical figure Joseph was buried in the city of Shechem, close to present day Nablus. The tomb is believed to be his final resting place, although there is an archaeological debate on the issue.
Historically the site has been revered by Jews, Christians, and Muslims. In the last 15 years, however, the site has been repeatedly targeted by Palestinian rioters and vandals and was badly gutted by another arson attack in 2000. It was only restored after that incident in 2011.

Jaguar Leaps Into River, Re-emerges with a Crocodile
Incredible moment a jaguar leaped into a river and returned with a Crocodile in its mouth after carefully stalking the prey from the bank.
The rare footage was captured by a tourist who watched as the animal approached the side of the water and stared into its depths with great intensity.
Despite being aware of the people watching it from the other side of the bank the big cat fails to break its gaze from the river and looks for a sign of movement.
After a short while it raises its head, although it is unclear from the video what the animal may have seen or heard. without warning it lunges forward and bravely leaps into the river - disappearing under the murky water to the sounds of the tourists gasping. the initial splash makes way for calm water and at this point it is unclear as to whether the jaguar has just put itself in grave danger.
Suddenly it re-emerges - much calmer than you would expect given the circumstances - and trots towards the bank with a live Crocodile in its mouth.
Lifting it up onto the bank the animal bites on the head of its prey before attempting to reposition it in its strong jaw. It lets go in order to do so and is lucky not to get bitten by the desperate reptile, which tries in vain to defend itself and attack the predator.
Once the jaguar is confident it has the animal safely in its clutches it carries it up the bank and disappears with it into the bushes to feed.

Pumpkin on the Loose
A giant inflatable pumpkin making a bid for freedom was caught on video nearly squashing pedestrians and drivers as it rolled through the streets of Arizona.
The footage shows the 25-foot-tall, 350-pound jack-o-lantern crossing multiple lanes of traffic in Peoria on Thursday before briefly getting stuck beneath a streetlight.
The faux gourd soon broke free, and continued its rampage another quarter mile — bouncing off of a wall, careening through parking lots, and finally stopping in a neighborhood where it again became stuck,
The owners of the pumpkin, Big AZ Promotions, were alerted by authorities their pumpkin was on the loose.
Officials believe the inflatable escaped from a Halloween display because of the high winds. The pumpkin was eventually cornered and deflated, and no injuries were reported.

The owners of the pumpkin, Big AZ Promotions, were alerted by authorities their pumpkin was on the loose.
Officials believe the inflatable escaped from a Halloween display because of the high winds. The pumpkin was eventually cornered and deflated, and no injuries were reported.

These singers were expertly accompanied by the one and only Aaron Teitelbaum Productions, who once again put on a presentation to remember, led by conductor Yisroel Lamm ,Children from all over the tri-state area danced, clapped, and rejoiced for more than 3 hours, as a brilliant twelve piece band and extraordinary singers provided inspiration and joy, filling young hearts with simcha and song.

Josh Beaudoin is an American professional tightrope walker. In this video, Josh crosses above an infested pool of alligators at the Colorado Gator farm placed in Mosca (Colorado, USA). During the crossing, the guy takes advantage to feed the impressive animals by throwing many pieces of meat.
