Rebbe Tell Me | Mendy Worch | TYH Nation

On everyones mind is the age old question “what is the purpose of it all?”
“Why are we here and what are we supposed to be focusing on?”
We turn to our Rabbeim, our teachers, who, with the knowledge of Hashem and the Torah, can guide us to reach our potential.

They respond to us through their teachings and actions, constantly reminding us that the world stands on three pillars; Torah, Avodah(prayer), and G’milus Chassadim(acts of kindness).

This is the tachlis of a Yid!

We are privileged to have the Torah to guide us, to have the ability to say TYH and express gratitude for all that Hashem does for us, and especially fortunate that we have opportunities to do kindness for one another.

Holding up the world is the tachlis of a Yid!

Entertainment that makes kids happy and parents happier

What if entertainment could give kids more than a fun time? What if songs and shows could give kids not only a great time, but a great message, one of positivity, kindness, and good values?

The Friendsteins were born to put each one of us on a mission to spread kindness, positivity, and good vibes. By leveraging entertainment channels kids and adults already looked for, and using them to spread messages parents wanted to instill, the power of goodness would grow exponentially, touching others wherever they were.

Today, The Friendsteins teach kids to spread positivity and good deeds through music, media and giving back to the community. The Friendsteins instill a positive force into the world, one that kids and their parents can relate to and enjoy. Muttel, Milly and Zilly were created to make the world a happier place, one song, birthday party, and show at a time.

Delivery Driver Hits Head on Ceramic Pot

A North Dakota UPS driver drops off my lashify package the day before Thanksgiving. He drops off the package, and as he is distracted by his work pad walking away, he smokes his head on my hanging ceramic pot with fake ferns in it. The sound of the DONG when he hits is super loud.

You Will Enlighten the Orphans' Darknes

Mrs. Berger’s class is learning all about Chanukah. The children listen enraptured by the timeless story, excitement brewing in their hearts. In just a few days, it’s going to be Chanukah! Chanukah means menorahs, donuts, gifts and family get-togethers…

Chana listens quietly along with her classmates, but only her heart weeps. She remembers last Chanukah when Mommy stood beside Tatty’s shiny silver menorah, recited the brachah, lit one candle…and burst into tears. They’d all wept along with her—from Chana to baby Nesanel. They’d cried and cried, gazed into the large portrait of a smiling Tatty hanging on the living room wall, and cried some more…

A full year has since passed, and another Chanukah is approaching. Time has a way of healing, and Chana knows that, this time, Mommy will light the menorah with a smile. Then they’ll all join hands and sing ‘Maoz Tzur’ like always, but the simchah of Chanukah, the light and joy of Chanukah…

It’s all gone.

Because Tatty is gone. Never again will he walk into the house with his broad smile, toss little Nesanel in the air or greet Chana with a special caress. Never again will he light the menorah for them, sing and dance with them.

When Chana thinks of Chanukah, her heart shrivel in pain. What do they need Chanukah for anyway? It’s not written in the Torah! They’d all be better off without it.

Without remembering how Mommy cried that night when she lit the first candle…

In Yudi’s class, everyone’s avidly preparing for the Great Chanukah Chidon. The whole cheider is going to be there in the large, glittering hall. The kids who’d made it to the final round of contestants will be seated on stage while an audience of proud fathers and grandfathers beams proudly back at them, each one secretly hoping that his son or grandson will be the one to get the right answer…

But Yudi’s Tatty won’t be there. Even if he wins the grand prize. Yudi’s Tatty passed away three months ago after a year and a half battling terrible illness. Instead of Tatty, both his Zaidys will come, and Yudi knows exactly what will happen. Zaidy Steinberg, Tatty’s father, will be invited to address the audience, because they always ask Zaidy Steinberg to speak. He’ll stand at the podium and speak passionately into the microphone, enthralling his audience. Then, suddenly, he’ll mention Tatty. His voice will crack just a bit, and he’ll pause to collect himself.

Lev Layeled: The Home When There's Is NO Home

What is a home?

For young children, a home is not just a space where they live and keep their things. Home is where they are cherished, nourished, protected, and surrounded with warmth and positivity by the people that love them most.

But what happens when life at home is no life for a child? When the environment is full of strife, or one parent is incapable of being there and providing for their child’s needs? The problems that arise as a result can last a lifetime, with devastating consequences.

Lev Leyeled was founded with the mission of being there for such children and ensuring that they can enjoy a healthy childhood despite the turmoil surrounding them. Every child’s needs are unique, and Lev Leyeled steps in with one goal: to put the child's needs first and be there for them every single day.

This critical campaign will help Lev Leyeled be there for the most vulnerable among us. Please do your part and show these children that they are not alone.

Thank You

Purpose in Pain

Reb Elimelech and his brother Reb Zisha were looking for nightime lodgings at an inn. The innkeeper informed them there were no vacancies. Not wanting to face Russia's brutal winter, they settled on sleeping in a corner of a first floor room. Some patrons got drunk at the bar and began viciously beating Reb Elimelech. Not being able to take anymore, Reb Elimelech asked his brother to switch places with him. A short while later, the drunkards returned wanting to now beat " the other guy."Reb Elimelech says we can learn 2 valuable lessons from here:

1)Hashem only gives a person what he can endure

2) you cannot make it better in someone elses's account.

Achoseini - Yidi Bialostozky, Child Soloist Z. Wertzberger

"Achoseini is a song about the bracha we wish the chosson and kallah at their wedding. It was in honor of the wedding of my dear sister that I composed this song to which my friend, mentor and musical producer Mendy Hershkowitz wrote a brilliant symphonic arrangement. We are joined by the sweet voice of child soloist Zevy Wertzberger and the Lev Choir, led by my friend, Aba Berkowitz, who gave this song the artistic touch it needed.
<
< I am dedicating this song to my sister and her chosson 注诪讜"砖 and to all of the chassanim and kallos who give me the opportunity to be mesameach on their special day. Oif Simches! Enjoy!" - Yidi
