With Rosh Hashanah nearly upon us, we realize what a monumental Yom Hadin we are facing. The world is an extremely unstable place. There is, of course, the Corona Virus that has wreaked havoc and continues to wreak havoc worldwide. People are becoming ill, some seriously. The virus is also threatening the stability and viability of our shuls, schools, yeshivos and chadorim.
In Eretz Yisroel, the new government presents a tremendous challenge for frum Yidden. In America, the new winds of “progressivism” and “wokeism” that are blowing similarly threaten our way of life. There is a rise in terror and lawlessness throughout the world, something which is harmful to society.
We need tefillos! We need the zechus of the Chofetz Chaim to protect us!
Without a doubt, however, the riveting videocast slated to be shown on Motzoei Shabbos. September 4th, will be an event that any Yid who wants to connect and unite with Klal Yisrael k’ish echad b’lev echad while internalizing the message and chizuk from the Chofetz Chaim in advance of Rosh Hashanah, would not want to miss.
To hear the roar of Rav Boruch Mordechai Ezrachi as he arouses us to teshuva; To feel the heart of Rav Shimon Galei as he cries and begs, invoking rachamei shomayim; To absorb the deep, inspiring words of Rav Yaakov Hillel and the chizuk of Rav Nissan Kaplan, will provide you with a unique viewing experience replete with chizuk and inspiration.
Don’t miss it!

Saul Emanuel - Ki Hinei Kachomer - Single
Lofty praises of Hashem in their throats”. With these words, my beloved grandfather, Mr. Jonas Emanuel, inscribed a siddur he presented to me just before Rosh Hashana when I was 8 years old. I suppose he chose this particular phrase, knowing that I already had a tremendous love of singing and music. With these words were his hope and guidance that I would use my singing abilities for the reason all abilities are bestowed-to glorify the One Above. For many years I have had the great zechus to Daven for the Amud during the Yamim Noraim and I do pray that I have somewhat fulfilled that Bracha of my Opa, to have brought myself and others inspiration in their tefillos.
Last year, at this time, Yom HaDin, the entire world was united in intense Tefilla for the coming year to bring an end to the hardships, loneliness, anxiety, illness, and suffering that the previous months of corona virus had brought. The concept of mankind being mere “clay in the hand of the Potter” had become a clear, stark reality understood by all! Amidst these emotions, this melody was created.
Let’s together, strengthen ourselves in this realization that we are totally dependent on our Creator and have nowhere to turn for Salvation but to Him.
Wishing all a Kesiva VeChasima Tova

Iberbaten - Hillel Gross - Single
The holy "Sar Shulem" of Belz disappeared one morning before Slichos and was found peeking into the window of the town's tailor before heading to Shul. People of the town later asked the tailor if he's by chance a hidden Tzadik. Not knowing what they're referring to he told them;
This morning I prepared two glasses of liquor. I told Hashem I'm upset. Business went down this year and in my rage wasn't so Ehrlich. I then said to Hashem, let's make peace. I won't be mad at you and you don't be mad at me. I drank both glasses and waved Lechaim to Hashem and went on with my day.

Amen - The Scheiner Experience - Luzy and Meyer Klatzko
Composed by Rabbi Benzion Klatzko
Performed by Luzy Klatzko, Meyer Klatzko
Produced by Benzion Klatzko
Musical Arrangements by Yisroel Ament
Video by Dovid Newman
In order to truly understand Monsey, one simply has to go to the "Scheiner Shul" on 18 Forshay Rd, and experience the warmth and acceptance in this diverse hub of our community.
As a person who has lived in many Jewish communities around the world, we thought that we had seen it all. Cleveland, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, even Yerushalaim.
These are all wonderful communities with vibrant Jewish life. But "Scheiners" (the official name is Ohr Chaim) in Monsey is special. The best way to describe it is, that it feels like the Uman experience year round.
Four large, air-conditioned tents sit on more than a half a block of real estate. Every 15 minutes a new minyan begins. One is immediately struck by the diversity of the Jewish representation that has come to daven together with sincerity and kavanah.
On the premises is a convenience store, a second store for snacks that works on the "trust system" (There is no cashier. You simply take what you want and put the money in a box). A sofer to check and fix tefilin, a Shatnez lab, a beautiful mikveh, a coffee room, and a soup room which always has three or four different kinds of soup for the taking. It is all free. Even the cold bottled water is dispensed freely. Friday is chulent day and each week there are communal meals in the tents for people who have nowhere to eat for shabbos. Shiurim are constantly offered, and the multiple Batai Midrashim are filled with the sweet sound of Torah.
The Klatzko family is proud to live in Monsey! The kindness and passion of the Jewish people shine here in a very unique way!

Yiddish and Hebrew Lyrics: Rabbi Yossi Gleiberman
A Gershy Moskowits Production

Scores of thousands around the globe are completing Maseches Sukkah tomorrow. Learning Daf Hayomi has reached historical numbers in recent months with hundreds of new lomdim joining at each Masechta. Today, Klal Yisrael celebrates the 7th Siyum since The Siyum Hashas.
It’s hard to believe that The Siyum was only 607 days ago, and it’s hard to believe that those learning The Daf have already completed 607 Daffim!
The Zohar (Parshas Emor) teaches us, “When we dwell in our Sukkah – in the Tziela D’Mehminusa – the shade of Hashem, the Shechinah spreads Her wings over us from above.”
This special closeness, basking in the glory of Hashem himself is also experienced every single time we learn Torah. Rav Yonassan Eibshetz Zt”l taught in his sefer Yeeros D’vash that just as Sukkah is basking in the Shade of Hashem, so is learning Torah. Therefore one should learn Torah while sitting in his Sukkah.
This song is presented in tribute to the Lomdei HaDaf on their completion of Maseches Sukkah.
Those who learn the Daf live each day – learning in the Tziela D’Mehminusa – the shade of Hashem. Their entire lives, families and homes, much like a Sukkah, are elevated and transformed into a spiritual oasis, filled with the aura of the Shechina.

Shragee's story, Your story
The story of Shragee Gestetner Z”L has taken the world by storm since his tragic passing. An everyday working man, one who had never been a learner, found meaning, purpose and simchas Hachaim in embracing daily Torah learning. He proudly abandoned promising singing and business prospects to put Torah first.
“Why not me?”, people ask themselves.
Shragee actively made it his life’s mission to tell everyone that finding true inner joy is just a daily-learning-seder away. Now, Kavati is continuing this legacy by encouraging and cultivating a world of daily Kvias Itim.
Visit kavati.org to join the movement and begin living life to the fullest.
