The Lubavitcher Rebbe attends the groudbreaking for the expansion of 770. “G-d created the world from a foundation stone which lies in the Holy of Holies in the Holy Temple. This teaches us that the foundation of every Jewish edifice - whether a physical building or a spiritual undertaking - must be built upon the foundation of Torah.”

TX Sen. Cruz Walks Out After Israel Comments Draw Boos
Republican Sen. Ted Cruz said he walked out of a speech Wednesday night to a Christian organization after some audience members booed his comments in support of Israel and the Jewish people.
At the “In Defense of Christians” gala dinner, the Texas senator said he told the gathering that those who hate Israel also hate the United States and those who hate the Jewish people also hate Christians.
That elicited boos from a small but vocal minority. Cruz insisted that Christians in the Middle East have no better friend than Israel. “After just a few minutes, I had no choice,” Cruz said. “I told them that if you will not stand with Israel, if you will not stand with the Jews, then I will not stand with you. And then I walked off the stage.”

President Obama ISIS Speech - Outlining a Battle Plan
In a prime-time address on Wednesday evening, the eve of the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, President Barack Obama explained to Americans his strategy for confronting the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the Sunni militant group.
John McCain and Jay Carney Battle over Obama ISIS Speech - ‘Facts Are Stubborn Things’ - Former White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, on his very first night working for CNN, ended up sparring with Senator John McCain over President Obama‘s ISIS speech, in which McCain repeatedly took shots at Carney for not telling the truth, saying at least once that “facts are stubborn things.”
The second McCain appeared on CNN, he immediately got combative with Carney. McCain said that Obama unilaterally decided, against advisement from his national security team, not to train Syrian rebels. In addition, he said not leaving a residual force in Iraq was a huge mistake on Obama’s part. Carney disputed McCain’s claims, but the senator said, “Again, Mr. Carney, you are saying facts that are patently false.”

Dovid Gabay - The Letter - Daven For Me - Music Video
As the Yomim Norai’m are ever so quickly approaching, here is a brand new music video to help us get into the right mind frame to daven on behalf of our brothers and sisters around the world.
Chazal tell us that if two people are in need of the same salvation, they should pray for each other that the other’s need should be answered. By doing so, together, they open the gates of mercy, and thereby create a zechus in Shamayim that THEIR prayers be answered.
The song entitled “The Letter”, from Dovid Gabay’s 2nd album, Omar Dovid, has been a true inspiration for so many around the globe, but most importantly for an individual residing in Brooklyn, NY. Upon hearing the song, and realizing his own child was in desperate need of tefilos, he decided, based on the message of this very song, to start an organization for individuals all around the world to be paired up with others who are in need of the same salvation.
The organization is called Daven For Me and currently has over 5,000 subscribed members, and counting… This movement of tefilah has brought about many yeshuos in the world. Many of which you can read about on the organization’s website: Davenforme.org

Man Walks Into Crater of Active Volcano
More people have landed on the moon than have come close to the flaming pit that is the Marum crater, An amazing video has emerged of a man walking into the crater of an active volcano.
The footage, captured on a GoPro camera late last month, shows explorers Sam Cossman and George Kourounis getting as close as humanly possible to a violently boiling lake of lava.
After scrambling 1200 feet down into the crater of Marum Volcano on Ambrym Island, Vanuatu, Mr Kourounis dons a protective heat suit and gets extremely close to the lava.
"It is one of only 5 places in the world with persistent lava lakes. Getting to it was kind of like a reverse climbing of Everest” he later wrote online.
“The volcano fought back at us, and we had to deal with terrible weather, tremendous heat from the lava, descending and ascending 400 meters of near vertical, loose rock face, acid rain so strong that it could have come from a car battery, and a variety of other craziness. The lava melted part of one of my cameras, I got splashed by small chunks of glowing hot lava which melted a hole in my rain jacket, and my protective heat suit is now ruined from the intense acid rain."

Boys Hears Music for the First Time
A three-year-old boy who was born deaf recently heard music for the first time thanks to an experimental device that was implanted in his brain, and his priceless reaction has gone viral.
Sophie Gareau explained that her son Auguste, who was diagnosed as deaf at one-and-a-half years old, had tried all the available therapy and treatments - even cochlear implants - but nothing seemed to work. One day, Gareau happened to see a viral video on Facebook featuring a deaf patient who had gotten an experimental procedure, auditory brainstem implant (ABI). Gareau did the research, and it sounded like August was a perfect candidate for ABI. After a successful six-hour procedure, August can now hear some sounds.
His shocked reaction to hearing music at a family party and his subsequent dance moves were captured on a friend's iPhone in a hilarious, heartwarming video that has gone viral on the internet and given Gareau hope that Auguste's hearing will improve even more.
From the author: "Our son, Auguste Majkowski, was born deaf. A few months back we flew all the way from Montreal to Los Angeles where he underwent brain surgery (May 6th) to receive an Auditory Brainstem Implant (ABI). His device was initially activated on June 12th of 2014. One month and a half post activation, here he is, hearing music for the very first time, dancing along side his dad, Christophe Majkowski. This moment was absolutely amazing for all of us! Check out his reaction... he's so happy to hear!!!!!"
The sign the boy makes with his right hand hitting his left, means "again" in ASL (American Sign Language), asking to play the music just one more time.
