The University of Iowa's quarterback is used to dodging defensive linemen when he takes the field, but when a Skycam came crashing to earth Friday night, he never saw it coming. The 30-pound high-flying camera nearly nailed quarterback Marvin McNutt and other Iowa players as they huddled on the field during the Insight Bowl in Tempe, Arizona. The camera, which rides above the field on cables, is one of the biggest innovations in sportscasting, delivery video game-like shots behind and above the players.

Clashes Continue In Beit Shemesh
Hundreds of Extremist Charedim rioted and torched trash cans in Beit Shemesh on Thursday night. Police forces that arrived on the scene made efforts to disperse the crowd but were met with resistance from residents, who stoned the officers and blocked roads. Three people were arrested.
Beit Shemesh turned into the epicenter of the turmoil over hostility directed at women in ultra-Orthodox neighborhoods after media outlets reported that the seven-year-old Na'ama Margolis was harassed by extremist charedim on her way to school. The attackers spat on the girl and yelled insults at her for not being dressed "modestly enough" in their opinion.

Video captures 12 months of reckless drivers crashing at intersections The footage, taken from New Jersey’s roads this year 2011, is being used to warn against the dangers of jumping red lights. It has been caught by American Traffic Solutions, the company providing the divisive red light camera systems.

Chilu Posen and friends, on behalf of the organization Mekimi, went to visit a Jewish patient at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital in Baltimore, MD.
The Hospital wrote: "A Chanukah DJ visited one of our patients and look what happened next." At the conclusion of the video, during the credits they even misspell "Mekimi" to "Meliki."
The story we were told: "Mekimi had driven down to Baltimore to visit a child in the hospital. The hospital wouldn't let Mekimi in to the hospital to visit, until they first sang in the cafeteria, only then did they open the doors to visit the Jewish patient they had driven down to visit.

On Thursday evening, December 8th, 2011 Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Israel celebrated its 110th anniversary with a gala evening and concert featuring Avraham Fried and Rami Kleinstein attended by close to 3000 people at The International Convention Center -- Binyanei Hauma in Jerusalem.
Avraham Fried, who visited the hospital earlier in the year, recorded a special tribute film featuring his time spent with doctors and patients and told the crowd how amazed he was at the dedication invested by the medical staff at the hospital.
