Shalsheles Official Music Video "Generations"
Please enjoy this exclusive video entitled "Generations" originally recorded for Bonei Olam. This is only the second English song ever recorded by Shalsheles. The song was composed by Yitzchok Rosenthal, arranged by Ron Tichon with lyrics by Estie Zelcer, and the song appears on shalsheles volume 5.
Visit www.shalsheles.com for more shalsheles info.
A word from Shalsheles: "Two years ago we were approached to write a song for Bonei Olam an organization which helps couples experiencing infertility issues, to use in their fundraising efforts. As the name Shalsheles depicts Links or Generations within the Jewish dynasty, how fitting and relevant this song is, in describing Bonei Olam's mission in helping to establish future generations. To date over two thousand couples with the assistance of Bonei Olam have realized their dreams in giving birth to children, and in essence new Generations."

Never Equate Good with Evil!
The international media is both subtly and overtly blurring the lines between Israel and Hamas, equating terrorists with the Israel Defense Forces and manipulating the public’s view by distorting the difference between good and evil.

2 Year Old's Reaction to Pre-recorded Video of her Daddy
From the author: "My 2 yr old daughter's reaction to a pre-recorded video of her daddy who was away with the military."
Message from the author: I want to take this opportunity to clear up a few things and explain our particular situation. I've received a lot of comments about my husband being overseas, but he was not deployed. He had to leave for two months to attend Basic Military Training in Texas, as he just enlisted in the USAF. Our daughter didn't understand him leaving or how long he'd be gone, or if he'd come back. She's so young and I didn't want her to think he just vanished. Prior to his departure, he recorded several videos of him talking with her, reading to her, making silly faces, ect. Once he left, every day she would ask "daddy back? see daddy?" and I was so grateful to have something to show her. In this particular video, our kitten knocked something off the shelf in the living room and it made a noise. She was trying to get daddy's attention to tell him "silly kitty."
Thank you everyone for your interest and kind words. There are sacrifices in being a military family, but technology today is so great in helping to ease the pain.
PS: Yes, she is half Korean and half Scotch-Irish, but we are all American."

Retaliation for a Meter Ticket in NYC
From the uploader: "Caught this on my iphone during a cab ride in brooklyn: a cop was giving these two guys a ticket because their van was parked by an expired parking meter and one of them got really mad and cut off the meter with a saw!!! gotta love brooklyn :)"
Most probably fake, nevertheless funny.
UPDATE: The NYPD has confirmed our hunch that this is not real. There is, in fact, no 16th Precinct in NYC. Who staged the video, where and how, remains a mystery. Nevertheless, we still enjoy it in terms of over-the-top catharsis.

Rabbi Meir Kahane - בימים ההם בזמן הזה
Whether bringing home Gilad Shalit for the price we paid was right or wrong; more than 20 years ago, Rabbi Kahane says it the way it is. Sholom Aleichem - Avrohom Fried & Tzlil Vizemer
Avraham Fried after the finale of a concert in Isreal with the Tzlil Vizemer Boys Choir, circa 1993.
During the concert some of the choir boys imitated different singers such as Piamenta. One boy had the job of singing Reb Shmuel Brazil's Sholom Aleichem in what was supposed to be an imitation of Avraham Freid, since the latter is famous for singing that in his own unique way. At the end of the concert Avremel went over the that child and sang with him.
At the end you can hear one of the kids, a little Mechutzef, chanting in the microphone "MBD MBD"!
(you can see this more clearly in the full version of the video. Watch the full video in the extended post)

1987 Sitcom Predicted Gaddafi's Death in 2011
Few envisioned the Arab Spring that would upend international politics and lead to the overthrow and death of Moammar Kadafi. With one odd exception — a long-lost, long-forgotten 1987 Matthew Perry sitcom set in Venice, Calif., that correctly forecast Kadafi’s demise.
In "Second Chance," Joseph Maher plays an insouciant angel, who judges whether the recently deceased will go to heaven or hell. Perry plays the teenage, 1987 version of a troubled man who dies in 2011 and has a second chance to go back and change the course of his life for the better.
But before Perry is introduced and the plot gets rolling, the second visitor in the opening of the pilot is a slimmer, younger-looking Kadafi than the one we know today — and one also perforated by multiple gunshot wounds.
After some awkward pantomiming, the judge says: “Colonel Kadafi, hear me: because you’ve ordered the death of innocent people by means of terrorist explosives, you are sentenced to spend eternity wired as a human bomb. Every two minutes, you will blow up.”
The audience laughed, and it’s worth looking back to that period in Libya’s history to remember why: In the mid-1980s, Kadafi supported several international terrorist groups, and Libyan agents were responsible for the fatal bombing of a West Berlin nightclub.
What’s more unsettling is that the "Second Chance" episode predates the most notorious case of Libyan terrorism, the December 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 — known as the Lockerbie bombing — which a former Libyan minister recently claimed that Kadafi ordered personally.

Escapes and Destroys the Evidence
His mother couldn't figure out how her toddler was getting out of his crib every time she put him down for a nap. She thought it must surely have been a joint venture with his twin brother, who sleeps with him. The footage shows the two boys standing in their cot while their mother says goodbye. Once she leaves the room, the twins exchange glances, knowing what comes next, A determined-looking Dayne surveys the room before quickly throwing his leg on to the top bar of the cot and hoisting himself up and over, landing with a bump on the carpet Taking a second to recover, he then toddles over to the camera, which he apparently realises has filmed his antics and decides to destroy the evidence.
