The creators of "The Mysterious Shepherd" offer a new release, "The Gilgul". Set in the times of the Baal Hatanya, the cartoon follows the story of a young boy born with exceptional intellect, and the challenges he faces as he grows in to a young man.
These two cartoons are but the first titles in a collection of films produced by JAM Animations. Many more films are to follow, each story providing exceptional entertainment for the whole family whilst imparting timeless lessons in Yiddishkeit. Yehuda Katz, musician and leader of the Jewish rock band "Reva Lesheva." Katz and his band performed world-wide, produced albums and created quality Jewish music. Then, he decided on a change of pace, as well as sound.
The first single now being released, "Hodu" generated a music video. The day that the song was recorded, Katz heard on the radio of a struggle between parents at a religious school in Petach Tikva, surrounding their opposition to the integration of Ethiopian children into the community. This news greatly upset Katz, which is
expressed in the clip, and led to his having artists from the Ethiopian community join him in song and dance throughout the recording.

Two Satmars Celebrate Separately for Single Cause
Thousands of Satmar Chasidim Gathered Together To Celebrate Kuf Alef Kislev. This is an annual event celebrating the miracle of the Satmar Rebbe's rescue from the Nazis on 21 Kislev, 1944.
On 21 Kislev 1944, the Satmar Rebbe, Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum Zatzal, was rescued from the Bergen-Belson Nazi concentration camp along with 1368 other Jews. Since then, for the past 65 years, Satmar Chasidim have celebrated the day as a day of festivities which includes Divrei Torah, singing, and meals.
