An extraordinary musical journey following the songs of the Yeshiva world – from the days of Maran HaGaon R’ Chaim of Volozhin, through the melodies of Maran HaGaon R’ Baruch Ber Leibowitz, and up to our generation with the sweet niggun of Maran HaGaon R’ Yosef Shalom Elyashiv zt”l — created by Yichud Bnei HaYeshivot – accompanied by moving narration segments that illustrate the story behind each song, its source, and its meaning.

The unique composition “HaShirah HaZot” was produced especially for the historic event of Yichud Bnei HaYeshivot – “Amudei Olam”, which took place in Tishrei 5786 at the Arena in Jerusalem, with the participation of over 13,000 bochurim from the major yeshivot. This is a rare musical work that encapsulates the very soul of the Torah and Yeshiva world – watch, be moved, and connect!

Avraham Fried, Chaim Yisrael, Bentzi Stein - Nishmas

Avraham Fried, Chaim Israel and Bentzi Stein are collaborating again and launching a new song – “Nishmas“, composed by Stein.

The melody was created some time ago, in the midst of the days of missile fire from Iran. “I called Avraham Fried from the Maamad with this special melody, and we decided to release it,” says Stein. Now it is coming out, and it comes to remind us that the people of Israel know how to give thanks for the great miracles, but also tend to forget them quickly,” “Even when time passes since those events – we must not forget the chessed of HaShem and His wonders, and this is the message that ‘Nishmas‘ carries with it.”

When the melody was ready, and Fried was on board, it was clear that the third party could not be omitted – Chaim Israel, who immediately entered the special production. The song is accompanied by a unique music video filmed in Israel and the US.

Shmulik Sukkot hosts the song's composer Bentzi Stein to the sound of the crowd singing "Avarti Bachoshech", conducted by Yoeli Dikman.

This is the second episode in the series of "Kololuchan - sing with the composer" in which the singer, the composer and the audience take part.

Lyrics are based on the teaching of Rav Nachamn of Breslov.

יוסי המתוק, שעובר תקופה לא קלה במחלקה האונקולוגית בביה״ח תל השומר, החליט לשתף באמצעות מלאכי החסד של ארגון 'רחשי לב' את המשאלה שלו. במכתב אותו העבירו ׳רחשי לב׳ למלחין החסידי בנצי שטיין, הביע יוסי את רחשי ליבו והודה לבנצי על לחניו 'אבא אבא' ו'דע לך בני' שהם שירים שנותנים לו כח ותקווה לעמוד באתגרים שנפלו בחלקו, וכאן אזר יוסי אומץ והביע את משאלתו ״בנצי, תלחין לי שיר במיוחד בשבילי״.

בנצי שגם עצמו מתנדב ב׳רחשי לב׳ רתם למשימה את גדולי הזמר ששיתופי הפעולה שלו איתם הפכו ללהיטי עולם, וכך בהשראת מכתבו המרגש של יוסי נכנסו השלושה לאולפן להקליט את הלחן המרגש שנולד
