TYH Presents: Panim Yafot | Aryeh Rubin
The timing of the release couldn’t be better. We’re coming from Lag Baomer, which reminds us of the lessons from the students of Rebbi Akiva, who didn’t show enough respect to one another. We’re still learning how to fix that by living with more ahavas Yisroel, more sensitivity, and more achdus. And as we get closer to Shavuos, we remember that the Torah was only given to us once we were truly united, as one people with one heart.
It’s the perfect moment to spread more warmth. And even after the season passes, the message of Panim Yafot will keep on shining.
A smile never goes out of style.

Sambatyon - Motty Ilowitz & Shulem Lemmer
And still… they crossed it.
First came Reb Meir, a chazzan. His town was under threat, and they needed someone competent to help. He crossed the Sambatyon to summon Reb Don, who could stand up to the ruler’s challenge.
But before Reb Don headed out, they realized something: Crossing thus far, on Shabbos, while the waters were calm, had been permitted; it was pikuach nefesh. But crossing back wouldn’t be. So each would remain stranded on the far side of where they began.
Reb Meir wrote a poem “Akdamus”, and handed it to Reb Don to bring back for the people of his town, whom he would never see again.
Reb Don crossed and defended Torah. And like Reb Meir, he never returned.
Every person has their own “Sambatyon”, something that feels impossible, uncrossable. Yet, out of everyone, you’re chosen and capable to carry out your part. Even if it takes walking through stormy seas.
This Shavuos, as we say “Akdamus”, may we find the strength to cross our own seas and receive all the goodness waiting on the other side.

Levi Y Cohen - The Soul Song - Official Music Video
In the story of the Pardes (Chagiga 14b, Zohar I:26b), Elisha Ben Avuya hears a heavenly voice say, “All may return—except Acher.” Believing he was beyond redemption, he turned away from Hashem. But the Holy Baal Shem Tov teaches that this voice "Except Acher" wasn’t from Heaven, wasn't his soul—it was the Satan. The soul encourages, uplifts, and believes in you. The Satan sows doubt, despair, and defeat. Know the difference. The rule is simple: if the voice within says you can do it, you’re strong, you’re beautiful—it's your soul. If it says otherwise, it’s not.

Shira Urgently Needs Life-saving Care - How You Can Help
My name is Bracha, and I’m writing not only as a mother, but as someone who deeply believes in the quiet power of kindness.
My daughter Shira is a bright, tender-hearted little girl. She’s been diagnosed with leukemia — a cancer of the blood. Her eyesight has already been affected, and the emotional toll on our family has been immense.
Shira is currently receiving care in a local hospital in Poland, but doctors have urged us to transfer her to a specialized children's hospital in Vienna. There, she can receive the advanced, life-saving treatment she urgently needs.
The cost of this treatment is over $150,000 — far beyond anything we can afford. Without this critical surgery and expert care, her chances of survival are heartbreakingly slim. Thankfully, it was caught at a relatively early stage, and there is still time to fight — but only if we act now.
We’re not looking for grand gestures. Even the smallest donation is a step toward her healing — a sign that we are not alone in this fight.
Thank you for taking a moment to see her story. It means more than words can express.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Bracha
Please donate generously
A Message from Rabbi Yehoshua Freedman, Jerusalem:
"I know Shira and her family personally. They need our help. Every donation can truly save her life."
Suspects Arrested After Using Hug-n-Snatch Tactic
Shomrim had received several reports about a group targeting elderly people, women, and individuals who appeared wealthy. The suspects pretended to be friendly tourists or lost visitors. They approached people on the street asking for directions to places like gas stations or luxury restaurants.
Once the person stopped to help, one of the suspects would suddenly hug the victim or pat their shoulder. During that physical contact, the suspect would quietly snatch a gold chain or bracelet from the victim without them noticing right away. Then, to distract the victim and cover up the theft, they would hand over a cheap, fake piece of jewelry pretending it was a thank-you gift.
Many victims only realized what happened after the suspects had already vanished away. In some cases, the suspects also pretended they had no money and offered to trade their fake “expensive” jewelry for cash, tricking people further.
Earlier today, a Shomrim volunteer on patrol spotted individuals who matched the suspects’ description. They were acting suspiciously and constantly looking behind them. Additional volunteers joined the patrol and began quietly following from a distance.
The suspects were then seen approaching another victim. Shomrim volunteers witnessed the robbery happen in real time from the fake question to the hug to the theft and immediately alerted the NYPD.
Officers responded within moments, arriving before the suspects could leave the area. All three were taken into custody at the scene. Stolen jewelry was found on them and returned to the victim.
Thanks to the sharp eyes of Shomrim and the quick response by the NYPD, a group of active street robbers was caught in the act before they could target more people.
Authorities urge the public to stay alert and cautious, especially when approached by strangers trying to get close or offering random gifts. Anyone who may have experienced a similar robbery is encouraged to contact Shomrim and the NYPD immediately.

A Dedication Ceremony Was Held at Ramot Mall in Jerusalem for the New “Lehachayot” Kindness Club
At the Ramot Mall in Jerusalem, a dedication ceremony was held for the new Kindness Club of the “Lehachayot” organization – a special, thoughtfully designed space dedicated to the well-being of children with special needs and their families.
