Reuven Garber was born and resides in Johannesburg, South Africa, together with his wife and 4 kids. He has been devoted to learning and teaching Torah, as well as to singing and music for many years. Reuven was one of 2 brother’s in law that inspired many through the beautiful Album ‘’Mayim Rabim’’, released recently by ‘’Derech Achim’’. The 2 of them work extremely closely and it is his brother in law Jared who is the executive producer of both the audio track, as well as the video, of the first single released ‘’AYEH!’’

Bashefer - Mir Loiben Dir - Album Preview
B’ezras Hashem Yisborach, we present to you this new music album entitled "Bashefer Mir Loiben Dir".
This brand new project has 10 original songs, composed and sung by R’ Shimon Hershaft, together with the newly formed Neshumah Boys Choir of London.
The songs on the album are Chasidish, pure and heart warming, each a gem, that will kindle the heart and soul of the dear listener.
Much work has gone in to producing this album in order to present you with a treasure chest of authentic Jewish music with the ultimate goal of bringing us closer to the Bashefer.

Jews Flock to Axe-throwing Self Defense Class
Members of Williamsburg's Jewish community tried to take their safety into their own hands on Monday, as they attended axe-throwing self-defence classes in New York City, in the wake of the recent deadly anti-Semitic shooting in Jersey City.
The classes are led by former NYPD officer and martial arts expert Gary Moskowitz, known as 'Rabbi Sensei,' and are designed to teach attendees how to handle a variety of weapons, including axes and spears, as well as how to respond to physical attacks and protect themselves.
Moskowitz explained that his motivation to start the classes was the rise in anti-Semitic attacks, stating that "Synagogues have Nazi swastikas painted on it here, people are cursing at us because we a Jewish, people punch us. Then it goes to terror where people shoot at us and try to kill our children."
The 62-year-old reportedly started the 'counter-terrorism' class for the Orthodox community in wake of the kosher market attack in where four people were killed in Jersey City on December 10.

Impromptu Fireworks Display Destroys House

"A fire broke out a few houses down from where we were working and we soon realized the home had stored a lot of fireworks in the garage as they started erupting from inside. The fireworks lasted for about 5 to 10 minutes and ended up burning most of the house before the fire department put out the fire."
