Soldier Surprises Family with Purim Return
The Hillel students and faculty at Harkham Hillel Hebrew Academy took part in a true Hero’s welcome as Major Moshe Scheinfeld surprised his three children during the schools Purim Chagiga after spending nine months in active duty is Afghanistan.
As he showed Hakoras Hatov Hatov to the Kehilla for supporting his family while away, he advised all the students that his pillar of strength during his time of service was when he would sit down after an 18 hour day of duty and learn Pirkei Avos and Tehillim.
Harkham Hillel Hebrew Academy is a Jewish Orthodox Day School in Beverly Hills, California.

In Hebrew, the word tavshil refers to a hot, delicious meal, cooked with love. At Bet Hatavshil we are dedicated to providing food and love to people. The Grand Rabbi of Kerestir, Hungary, promised that whoever fed the hungry in his name would be rewarded, and so we named our organization Kerestir in his honor.

Shira & Sababa Band - Keil Odoin - R' Bentzion Shenker
Charity comes in many forms. At this year’s annual Chesed Williamsburg appreciation event, Shira Choir & Sababa Bad showed one such kind of goodwill: honoring the gathered community with a spellbinding rendition of Keil Odoin.
This lively, optimistic melody became a classic the moment it was composed by the inimitable, irreplaceable R’ Bentzion Shenker Z"L, that great voice-maker of the Modzitzer dynasty. Here, Shira’s two-tier vocal lineup explores the song’s rich landscape, thumping across its soft-march terrain; swinging through its upbeat disco chorus; and harmonizing its climactic staccato interlude.
The crowd sits electrified, eyes glued to the sights and sounds. The entire performance rides on the impeccable instrumentation of an expanded Sababa Band, led by the multi-talented Mendy Hershkowitz, with musical arrangement courtesy of Avremi G.

This international effort to stop the talking in Shul has been a huge undertaking. Keeping quiet in shul is a zechus for parnassah, shidduchim, refuos and yeshuos. However despite the knowledge that talking during davening is wrong, the epidemic continues. So you may ask, what is the best way to combat this phenomenon? The shushing and apparent frustration of onlookers hardly seems to be enough.
There is an amazing lesson to be learned from the Tosfos Yom Tov, who speaks about this and is what became the basis for this new song. Shauly Waldner sings a new song composed and produced by Yitzy Waldner. Music composed and arranged by A Berko productions. The song reminds us of the amazing brochos that await us, if we focus on Davening, and don't speak in the shul. The rewards are endless!

Palestinian Terrorist Opens Fire on Israelis in West Bank
A Palestinian Terrorist killed an Israeli and seriously wounded two others in a West Bank shooting and stabbing spree Sunday before fleeing and setting off a massive manhunt, the Israeli military said.
Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus said the attacker stabbed an Israeli soldier at the entrance to the Ariel settlement, southwest of the Palestinian city of Nablus, and then took his assault rifle. He then opened fire toward several passing vehicles, striking civilians. Another car slowed to a stop and the attacker then boarded it and sped away, firing toward soldiers along the way before escaping into a nearly Palestinian village.
Conricus said Israeli troops have gathered at the entrance to the village to assist in the manhunt. He said it was unclear if the assailant acted alone or with the assistance of others, and whether he belonged to any Palestinian militant group.
