When President George H. W. Bush Played Dreidel

President George H. W. Bush is remembered fondly for his light-hearted and friendly demeanor, and you can see that again in this clip. President George H. W. Bush receives a delegation from Chabad Lubavitch in honor of 40 years of leadership of the Rebbe. He accepts a gift of silver Menorah from Rabbi Abraham Shemtov and send greetings back to the Rebbe. On December 26, 1989, during Chanukah Live, the first intercontinental Menorah lighting, the Rebbe watches the video and at its conclusion he leads the crowd in applauding the President.


Here's another clip on a different occasion, when the Satmar Rebbe Rav Ahron Teitelbaum with a delegation of rabbis visits President George H.W. Bush.

Rabbis and simple folks, Yeshiva students along with other young Jews, public figures and Shluchim, were all uplifted together in true Chassidic style at the grand and glorious farbrengen which took place in the center of Moscow. The farbrengen was in honor of the 19th of Kislev, the day on which the Alter Rebbe was freed from harsh imprisonment 220 years ago, following the heavenly decree against spreading the wellsprings of Chassidus.

This year’s musical performances were by Chassidic singer Reb Yoni Shlomo, wonderchild Dudi Link, and the orchestra of Yoeli Dickman, who amazed the large crowd and brought true festive joy to them all until the wee hours of the night.

A Look Back at the Life of President George H.W. Bush

George H.W. Bush, 41st president of the United States, dead at 94,

Former President George H.W. Bush, who spent a lifetime in public service and as the nation's leader scored a decisive victory over Saddam Hussein but battled a faltering economy, died Friday at age 94.

Family spokesman Jim McGrath said Bush died shortly after 10 p.m. Friday, about eight months after the death of his wife, Barbara Bush.


He is survived by five children, including former President George W. Bush and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush. A sixth child died in early childhood. The late former president also is survived by 17 grandchildren.

Former President George W. Bush issued the following statement upon his father's death:

"Jeb, Neil, Marvin, Doro, and I are saddened to announce that after 94 remarkable years, our dear Dad has died. George H.W. Bush was a man of the highest character and the best dad a son or daughter could ask for. The entire Bush family is deeply grateful for 41's life and love, for the compassion of those who have cared and prayed for Dad, and for the condolences of our friends and fellow citizens."

Yehuda Freundlich "Yesh Hakol - Got It All" Single

Yehuda Freundlich started playing keyboard at the tender young age of 8. By the time he was Bar Mitzvah he was already playing smaller simchas, and by 16 he was playing and singing professionally at all kinds of events and simchas. About five years ago, Yehuda started focusing solely on singing, as more people were requesting his vocal prowess. Over the years, he has performed at hundreds of simchas all over the US and Canada.

Recently, Yehuda noticed more and more that people have become more engrossed with what their neighbor or friend has, and they aren’t happy with their lot in life- “The grass is greener on that side of the fence" kind of frame of mind. Being that Freundlich’s way of connecting with people was through song, he started looking for a song that would convey that message. It was at that time that he approached world renowned prolific composer, Yitzy Walder, to help compose such a song. Once they discussed the song style and message, inspiration quickly hit Yitzy and this new hit wrote itself.

From there Yehuda contacted famed producer and arranger Doni Gross to help take the song to the next level. Once Doni heard the potential of the song, he immediately knew they had to contact famed lyricist Miriam Israeli to portray lyrically what Yitzy had done musically. The result is a song of positivity, with lyrics in both Hebrew and English which are sure to get you dancing. Going forward let’s focus on what we HAVE because needing more is having less.

Ohad & Yedidim “MBD Medley” AT Production‎

After a very successful opening tribute to our Queen's Hatzolah heroes, we share with you an additional clip from that memorable evening at The Queens Museum back on July 23, 2018.

The following medley combines several of Mordechai Ben David's golden gems, such as two different versions of Rachem B'chasdecha and Berogez. Mixed with other MBD classics and Avraham Fried's hit single Hu Yivneh, we present you this beautiful medley.

The medley is performed by the ‘Aaron Teitelbaum Symphonic Experience’ under the leadership of the great Yisroel Lamm, and accompanied by the Yedidim Choir. Vocals by international-  superstar Ohad who flew in from Eretz Yisroel for this special occasion.
