Man Catches Flying Umbrella
If it weren't for the surveillance footage, nobody would have believed that this happened.
Some guy is standing outside of what could be a hotel in China when a gust of wind rips an umbrella from its stand. The umbrella opens up and starts swirling around the front of the building.
Then it curves right at the guy who reaches out with one hand and grabs it.

It’s Not All Black and White
A new film explaining the techeiles controversy…
It’s not often that a film like this is released. The product of years of research, extensive travels, dozens of interviews and discussions with leading rabbanim and even underwater filming off the coast of the mediterranean in the Greek isles, It’s Not All Black and White is sure to amaze, and educate you.
This is a film for everyone who cares about mitzvos and wants to understand the history of this important mitzvah better. When was the last time techeiles was worn? How did it get lost? Was it found? What do the gedolim hold about this? Is it possible to find the techeiles before Mashiach comes? And, especially if you’re getting geared up to learn the sugya in Daf Yomi (The daf started learning Perek HaTecheiles Friday September 14) you want to watch this film right away.
The film features noted experts in Techeiles research and gedolei rabbanim including
Rav Gershon Bess, Rav Dovid Cohen, Rav Aharon Feldman, Rav Avrohom Chaim Feuer, Rav Shlomo Gissinger, Rav Benzion Halberstam, Rav Moshe Heineman, Rav Shmuel Kamenetsky, Rav Nissan Kaplan, Rav Moshe Tuvia Lieff, Rav Yisroel Neuman, Rav Aryeh Rosenfeld, Rebbe, Pinsk Karlin and more.
Is Techeiles Controversial?
The fact that Techeiles is a mitzvas asei in the Torah, just like Shabbos, Kashrus, Tefillin, Mezuzah, Shofar, Lulav and Sukkah is not a question. Everyone agrees that it is a mitzvah, and if we have techeiles one must wear it on his tzitzis. The question is whether or not the techeiles available is the genuine techeiles. Techeiles is not controversial at all, the controversy is purely halachic and technical in nature regarding the validity of Murex Techeiles.
This is a sugya in Halacha like any other that requires extensive scientific and biological knowledge on top of Torah scholarship. Now, for the first time ever, this topic is presented in a clear, exciting and informative documentary film that everyone can not only learn from, but enjoy.
So, head out to your local sefarim store and buy this DVD now. Don’t forget about those long Chol Hamoed trips! Make sure your family has an educational and wholesome Torahdik video to keep them entertained. And, if you just can’t wait to see it, go to techeilesvideo.com now to rent or purchase the video online.

Driver Hits, Injures Jewish Boy in Borough Park
A 4-year-old jewish child is in critical condition after being struck by a car in Boro Park the NYPD said.
Witnesses say the little boy jumped off the sidewalk and darted into the road near 13th Avenue and 44th Street in Borough Park around 2 p.m. Wednesday Yom Kippur, right into the front of a minivan.
A Hatzalah ambulance took the child to Maimonides Medical Center with severe head trauma, and the 20-year-old driver of the car remained at the scene, police said.
The driver's mother told News 4 New York at the scene that her daughter, who only has a permit, was stopped at a red light and started to go when the light turned green.
That's when the boy, who was accompanied by an adult, jumped in front of the car, and the adult couldn't hold the boy back in time, according to the driver's mother.
The woman behind the wheel has been driving since she was 16, but this was her first time driving by herself without a permit on her, according to the driver's mother.
Police took the driver to the station for questioning. It's not clear if she'll face charges, but police say there is no sign of criminality at this time.

Navy Hero of Yom Kippur War is Flown Transatlantic
Mission Impossible? Decade Later, Navy Hero of Yom Kippur War is Flown Transatlantic on Heart Balloon Pump
VitalOne operates on its own kind of battlefield. When life hangs in the balance - even as the scales begin tipping in the wrong direction - our team soldiers on and pulls miracles out of thin air.
Decades after being crowned a navy hero of the Yom Kippur War, Vardi Brachia, 51, was in critical, unstable condition, kept barely alive by a network of life-sustaining machinery. His only hope for survival was a heart transplant in America, but no one in the world would undertake the dangerous mission of transporting a patient like that over the ocean. It meant flying the hospital along with him. Impossible.

Funeral of Ari Fuld HY"D
Thousands of mourners gathered in the West Bank settlement of Kfar Etzion late Sunday and early Monday for the midnight funeral of a resident killed in a terror attack, remembering him as a hero who fought for Israel.
Fuld, a 45-year-old father of four from the Efrat settlement, was stabbed to death shortly before noon on Sunday by a Palestinian teenager terrorist outside the Harim Mall at the Etzion junction. Despite his wounds, Fuld chased and shot at his attacker, preventing further casualties in the attack, before collapsing to the ground. He was rushed to Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Joey Newcomb - It's Never Too Late - New Single
This song is meant to speak to everyone on whatever level they are on. To keep in reminding ones self that failure is a part of growth and We must keep starting over.
I wrote this song one Summer while I was davening alone in a open field not feeling too good about where I was holding in my spirituality.
The words immediately came to me. Like I always say the best songs are written with in minutes. I hope this songs brings hope to all and inspires to never give up.

Jewish Man Killed in Stabbing Attack at West Bank Mall
A 40-year-old Israeli man was killed on Sunday in a stabbing attack at the entrance to a mall near the West Bank's Gush Etzion Junction.
The victim was identified as Ari Fuld, a father of four from the West Bank settlement of Efrat.
The victim shot the assailant, a 17-year-old Palestinian hailing from the West Bank village of Yatta near Hebron, who was later identified as Khalil Jabarin. The attacker is currently hospitalized in moderate condition.
Fuld was taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem with injuries to his upper body before succumbing to his wounds.
A source close to the Jabarin family said that he informed his parents that he planned on carrying out an attack at the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron. The family subsequently informed Palestinian security forces, but those were unable to locate him in the tomb's vicinity.
The Israeli defense is claiming that they did not receive any information about Jabarin's intent to carry out an attack prior to the incident.
The incident took place in the Arim Mall, close to the Kfar Etzion settlement and other settlements in the Gush Etzion settlement bloc.
Fuld was a member of a faction within the Habayit Hayehudi political party, a religious-Zionist political party. Fuld's brother, Eitan, is the spokesman for MK Bezalel Smotrich from the same party. Ari Fuld immigrated to Israel from the United States and was a right-wing pro-Israel advocate. He lived in Efrat, a settlement outside of Jerusalem that is especially popular among religious nationalist American immigrants.
