Matan Torah Reinacted at Cheder
A Cheder Rebi , is seen performing a reenactment of the the giving of the Torah, per the Medrashim that Hashem asked all the nations of the world if they were interested in accepting the Torah, and they each rejected the offer. The teacher is seen offering the Torah to a a non-Jew in front of the children of the school, asking him if he wants to accept it. The gentile, who is most probably an employee at the institution, responds in Yiddish "no no". Then the Rebbe asks the kids if they will accpet the Torah, and they all yell "yes!"
Great Mic Holding Skills at Chupa
This might be the funniest, and at the same time, serious event ever.
Dvar Torah Shavuos & Naso 5777
Is the entire Torah an analogy? - Is the entire Torah is an analogy? If the answer would be yes, would that make it more valuable, or less? As we approach Shavuos — the day on which the Torah was given, we're going to answer the first question, and then ask you to answer the second one.

Leonardo Farkas Distributes $100 Bills at The Kosel
YWN - Call it eccentric, but for people in the area on Thursday, 4 Nissan, they tried cashing in on the one hundred dollar bills.
In this video, we see Chilean philanthropist Leonardo Farkas at the Kosel distributing one hundred dollar bills to persons in the area. Needless to say, it did not take long for him to attract a crowd.
Farkas is no stranger to attracting crowds in similar stunts. In 2013 for example, he entered the “Grill on Lee” restaurant in Williamsburg on a random day, ate lunch, and then paid for dozens of people to eat lunch. He also gave each employee $400.
Farkas is known for his habit of distributing 5,000 peso bills to strangers on the street.
Farkas is in Israel where he attended Friday’s dedication of 180 Ambucycles to United Hatzalah.

Gershon Veroba - Let Me Be - Music Video
Last week marks the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem, a day known as “Yom Yerushalayim.” Even while the US president arrives to pray and support, Jews in Israel are still under global pressure to forget, to give up, to leave... even disappear. Angry protesters spread ignorance and resentful neighbors won’t leave us alone.
In a statement of pride, producer/performer Gershon Veroba’s new Ani Yisrael album shows him at his best, fusing many musical styles in one place, similar to how Israel unifies all Jews.
In the album’s first video, we’re assured that all Jews are considered Israelis. This time, “Let Me Be” is Gershon’s more serious protest anthem that reminds the world that we are wasting time and lives. It reiterates our unbreakable connection with Jerusalem and simply says “enough is enough.”
As before, filming was done on location in and around Jerusalem, including the beautiful Castel Museum, where Gershon drove home the importance of history with a 157 year-old grand piano.
“Let Me Be” is dedicated to producer & musical genius Larry Gates, Gershon’s friend and the only one he chose to collaborate with on his own two songs from the album. Larry completed his work on the album in the final months of his heroic 7-year battle with cancer, passing away a week after release.
Now in Israel , the wondrous miracle of life continues, but we’d like to live that life in peace.
“Let Me Be” highlights that life and struggle... a struggle we will carry into the future if we must.
