World's Largest Passenger Airliner Crosswind Landing
Dramatic footage has emerged of the world's largest passenger plane battling fierce crosswinds during a dramatic landing in Germany. The video shows the Emirates A380 approaching the runway in Dusseldorf at an angle. As the right hand-side wheels hit the tarmac the giant aircraft lurches to the left erratically.

Mendel Lazaroff started his music experience with piano, toyed with the flute, but came back playing seriously with the piano. He composed this song shortly after his good friend Mendel Cotlar's passed away, on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014. Actually, any kid who knew him, considered him his good, if not best, friend. This happened only a few weeks after his bar-mitzvah when he had unexpected complications of GSD-1A, a metabolic disease. Mendel's younger brother, Aryeh, also has GSD and I hope we can find a cure!
A highlight of Mendel Cotlar's Bar Mitzvah speech was when he discussed the short prayer on first awakening, Modeh Ani, which expresses gratitude to G-d for returning one’s soul on awakening each morning. Mendel asked everyone in attendance for a “birthday present”: to say Modeh Ani with concentration each day. Many guests, inspired, began doing this the very next day onward.

Plane Lands on a City Street Like It's No Big Deal
Several days ago, a small plane headed to John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California had to make an emergency landing. With no other options, the student pilot and his instructor had to settle for a street in Irvine. Impressively, Piper Cherokee's landing went off without a hitch, and one lucky driver even caught the end of it on video.
Orange Coast College officials said the plane was carrying an instructor and a student at the time of the incident. OOC Dean of Technology Daniel Schrader said the plane's engine failed.

Body of Missing Israeli Amir Ohana Found
The body of missing Amir Shlomo Ochana, a husband and father of three from Bat Yam, Israel, has been found in a lake in Uman, Ukraine. He was 28.
Amir Shlomo had gone to Uman for Rosh Hashanah and then disappeared during his visit there.
Volunteers from Israel and elsewhere joined a frantic search that included divers, trained canines, and many police officers. Amir Shlomo went last Tuesday, the second day of Rosh Hashanah, into a forest with his friend, from whom he got separated. The friend notified police of his disappearance.
Amir Shlomo was wearing his Yom Tov clothing when he was found, but not shoes and socks. Zaka says that Amir Shlomo had apparently been sitting on the river bank with his feet in the water. An epileptic, he might have had an epileptic seizure or heart attack and fallen into the water.
Amir Shlomo’s body will be brought to Eretz Yisroel for kevurah.
