Several days ago, a small plane headed to John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California had to make an emergency landing. With no other options, the student pilot and his instructor had to settle for a street in Irvine. Orange Coast College officials said the plane was carrying an instructor and a student at the time of the incident. OOC Dean of Technology Daniel Schrader said the plane's engine failed.
