4 Boys with Autism in Music Video for their School
It all started with a dream. The dream of four boys with autism who loved all things music. There’s Levi, who always wanted to sing alongside his favorite singers in a studio. Yonatan wished he could be famous. Shlomo just always loved to sing. And Akiva wished he could star in a music video.
These four boys attend Room 204 at Shema Kolainu Hear Our Voices, a school for children with autism, located in Brooklyn, NY. At SKHOV they’ve grown and blossomed over the years, learning academic skills, but perhaps more importantly, social skills, for social skills don't come easy to individuals with autism. These four precious boys with autism learned how to communicate, how to relate to others, to share, to make eye contact, to empathize with the feelings of others, how to view situations from a different perspective, to manage and control their impulses and urges, and much more.
By the time the boys reached their fifth year in Shema Kolainu, they had gained a tremendous amount of skills and grew in ways no one could have ever imagined.
While watching music videos one day, as our precious boys often did, as a reward for good behavior, they expressed their wish to be in their own music video. Little did they know that wish would be actualized!
The boys and their teachers spent months planning, writing, recording, videoing, editing, and editing some more, and then finally, the video was ready. The beaming faces of Levi, Yonatan, Shlomo, and Akiva, when they saw themselves in a real music video, were worth every bit of work. The dream of four boys with autism became reality!

New World Record for Longest Semi-Truck Jump
Daredevil Gregg Godfrey jumped his semi-truck 166 feet to set a new world record and beat the previous record by more than 100 feet during the festivities at Evel Knievel Days in Butte, Montana. The old record for a semi-truck jump was a mere 62 feet.
Godfrey was originally going to jump his semi over Evel Knievel's extra-long 'Red Hauler' truck, but organizers couldn't fit the iconic vehicle between the two ramps.
In order to complete the jump Godfrey planned to get the nine-ton truck up to 70 miles per hour. After landing successfully, he said: 'I hit so hard, I think I'm concussed. I don't think I'm all there.' About 2,000 people turned out to watch the stunts and some of them shot video.

Dramatic Moment Spitfire Lands Without Wheels
This is the nail-biting moment, reminiscent of the Battle of Britain (summer 1940), when a skilled pilot was forced to carry out an emergency landing of his replica Spitfire (A fighter aircraft used during World War II) - without any wheels.
The aircraft was flying at Sibson Airfield near Peterborough, England, when the worried pilot radioed airfield bosses to say he couldn't release his landing gear. Skydivers jumping at the airfield in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, were grounded as the brave pilot circled for more than 20 minutes in a bid to frantically burn fuel.
Emergency services arrived at the scene just as the stunning one-man plane was carefully flown towards the ground in strong winds by the nervous expert. But amazingly he managed to land the replica fighter plane without any landing gear - skillfully skimming the aircraft over the grass on its belly. Relieved onlookers said the propeller fell off when it came to a safe stop, and the relieved pilot was completely unharmed.

Following the Siyum an exclusive Seudas Mitzvah - Gourmet Dinner was celebrated befitting such an exceptional occasion for all the Lomdei Hashas and their spouses accompanied by a special entertaining program.
The Siyum HaShas is Lezchus for the couples to merit a Yeshuah as well as a Chizuk to the thousands of couples yearning for a child of their own. The Shas-A-Thon is also a fundraiser to help ATIME continue all of its important services.

Poem by Crown Heights Jewish Teen Goes Viral
A Crown Heights Jewish Teen’s poem with an uplifting message has gone viral around the globe. Chanie Gorkin, a junior at the all-girls Lubavitch high school Beth Rivkah in Crown Heights penned the poem for a school assignment last year. After the assignment, she posted the poem,
titled “Worst Day Ever?”
The poem is about a bad day, but when read from the bottom up, it is actually a poem about the "best day ever." Chanie's mother posted the poem in a contest, and it then made its way through social media. She says that her daughter was influenced by growing up in a Chassidic community where she was taught to see the positive in everything. She also says that Chanie is very private and at first hated all the attention her poem received.
Chanie's mother also says that her daughter hopes people take inspiration from her poem and pay it forward by doing something nice to another person.

Magicians Photobomb Live Sky News Report
It had all the elements of an Internet hit: Two magicians hijack a TV news update, performing in the background behind an oblivious reporter. The video quickly went viral in Britain — but then it emerged that the Sky News team was in on the joke.
Both Sky News and journalist Ashish Joshi have confirmed that the report never aired on the network, deflating some of the buzz about the video in which Joshi conducts what seems to be a live update with the Palace of Westminster as his backdrop.
The acknowledgement came after several other media outlets, such as the Huffington Post and Metro, reported on the stunt. One outlet said the pair "might have won TV forever." BuzzFeed News seems to have been the first to report that it was all faked.
In the video, as Joshi describes a health care debate, comedy magicians Richard Young and Sam Strange (known as Young & Strange) wheel a cart across the lawn and perform an illusion in the background.
Viewers praised the magicians for livening up an otherwise standard political report with what seemed to be an inspired photobomb; some even called for more magic in the news.
Joshi kept a straight face during the "live" shot — and he maintained it on Twitter, retweeting others' gleeful messages about the video. To a colleague's ribbing about the appearance, he wrote that his stand-up reports "are always magic!"
But Joshi also passed along a note from his network that states, "the Ashish Joshi video with the magicians in the background is not a Sky News report."

Watch a giant balloon with a man inside burst in spectacular slow motion
The beauty of water balloons is that they burst in the blink of an eye.
Now a pair of slow-motion experts has managed to capture such an explosion using a 6ft (1.8 metre)-wide version of the classic children’s toy. In the video, one half of the Slow Mo Guys is shown climbing inside the balloon as it fills with so much water it splits, causing water to break free and cascade around the garden.
The video, called '6ft Man in 6ft Giant Water Balloon', is actually a remake of a 2011 video the pair filmed using a similar sized balloon. Over the course of five minutes, Texas-based Daniel Gruchy attempts to pull the 6ft balloon around his body. His partner Gavin Free even has to come and help him at one point. All the while, water from a hose is gradually filling the giant balloon with water. After around two minutes the sides of the balloon bursts spectacularly in real-time.
This same shot is then shown in slow motion, to reveal a huge tear ripping across the top of the balloon by Mr Gruchy’s legs. The water stays in the shape of the balloon briefly before collapsing and surrounding him.

The Temple Institute has released a 3-minute, 3D architectural rendition of its future Third Holy Temple.
The newly released video takes viewers in through the sanctuary and provides them with an up-close look at the innovative ways designers have managed to successfully navigate perplexing Halakhic issues.
Featured in the presentation are several of the Third Holy Temple’s 70 sacred vessels, including the menorah, incense altar and showbread table—-all of which have already been completed for the Institute.
The Temple Institute’s International Director, Rabbi Chaim Richman, said the release of the video presentation marks major progress in the 30-year effort by the organization towards rebuilding the Holy Temple.

Drone Rescues a Stranded Drone
Freelance camera operator Harrisen Howes lost a small camera drone two months ago after his roommate “drunkenly” crashed it onto a neighbors roof high overhead. After recently purchasing a larger, camera-equipped drone, Howes decided to try and rescue his old drone with his new one using some rope and hooks fashioned from coat hangers.

Palestinians Clash with Israel Police at Temple Mount
After a few months of relative calm at the Temple Mount compound, violence was reported at the Jerusalem site Sunday morning, with dozens of Palestinians youths barricading themselves at the Al Aqsa Mosque and clashing with Israel Police forces sent to the scene.
During the altercation, police eventually stormed the mosque itself. An unknown number of officers were wounded, and three East Jerusalem residents were arrested for allegedly throwing rocks at Border Police.
Jerusalem police said they received information about Arab youths barricading themselves within the mosque overnight Saturday to confront police and prevent visits to the holy site on Tisha B’Av – the Jewish day of remembrance for the destruction of the First and Second Temples.
According to the police, the youths - a number of whom where masked - collected stones, wooden planks, fireworks and firebombs, and even set up makeshift barricades to prevent the mosque's doors from being shut and to allow them to confront the police.

Afterwards, the youths fled into the mosque, throwing stones and bricks at the forces from within, and firing fireworks at them. An unidentified liquid was also thrown at the police.
A number of police officers eventually entered the Al Aqsa Mosque, successfully dismantling the makeshift barricades blocking the entrance. Israel Police make an effort to rarely enter the flashpoint mosque. Afterwards, the Temple Mount compound was opened as scheduled to visitors.
