Sight & Sounds of Tisha B'Av 5775 at the Kosel

Jews pray as they gather for Tisha B'Av at the Western Wall in the Old City of Jerusalem, July 25, 2015. The Tisha B'Av ceremony, the ninth day of the month of Av in the Hebraic calendar, is the darkest day in the Jewish calendar, marking the destruction of the two temples, first by the Babylonians in 587 BC and later by the Romans in 70 AD.

Singing at the Kotel 9 Av 5775 "Each year, a group of us go from Bet Shemesh to the Kotel to daven and read Eicha. At the end of the tefillot, we stand and sing together. As the group has grown (from around 25 people to more than 80) we have attracted other people who join in. By the end of this year's singing (which we pray is the final time we do this), we had at least 150 people singing together."
