Ukrainian Politician Thrown into Trash
Crowds outside the Ukrainian parliament seized a deputy, as he left the building for a break, and put him in a trash bin. The move puzzled politicians, as the deputy was behind the lustration law which the protesters had gathered to support

Blue Heron Swallows a Gopher In Cold Blood
When Jesse Garza trained a video camera on his backyard earlier this summer he was trying to get to the bottom of a simple mystery — why a blue heron was hanging around his suburban neighborhood. But it didn’t take long for him to discover the answer: This statuesque, water-loving bird was on a hunt for lawn gophers. Thanks to a well-timed video shoot Garza captured the whole thing on camera. “Huh!” he’s heard to exclaim. “I didn’t know that that’s what they ate.” Neither did we, Jesse.
Blue herons’ diet mainly consists of fish, but they do eat crustaceans, insects, small mammals and even small birds as the opportunity arises. In this case, though, the heron was clearly taking the initiative, stalking the gopher like a pro. Herons have been known to choke to death while trying to swallow large prey, but [spoiler alert] this guy manages to get it down okay.

Debute Single by Meir Duved Farkas "Mah Lochem Lidoig"
Well known Baal Tefilla & Chazzan Harav Meir Duvid Farkas is releasing the first single of his debut album, which is due out this winter. For Meir Duvid a Breslov Talmud for more than a decade, this song is more than just a business card, it’s about being Mechazik people who are considering to travel to Uman for Yom Tov and those who are going. The lyrics, chosen by Farkas are fromחיי מהור”ן סימן קפ”ט וסימן קצ”א which delivers a tremendous amount of chizuk for people, to move on with their daily lives, and especially to be prepared for עולם האמת. Knowing that Reb Nachman is there for them, and taking care on their well being as he promised.
The single, ”Mah Lochem L’doieg,” was composed & arranged by producer/composer/arranger Naftali Schnitzler. Not only does ”Mah Lochem L’doieg” feature special guest vocalist Yoeli Klein from Israel (who introduced the world to the hit song ואפילו בהסתרה), but the song also features original lyrics by Lipa Schmeltzer. Rav Farkas has a special Kesher with Yoeli for many years, and they are currently studying together the works of Reb Nachman. Klein appeared on this song to show appreciation to Rav Farkas. Rav Farkas has also been involved with Lipa and his albums for several years now, helping him introduce a few songs together.
The song is rounded out by choir work of the ידידים choir, led by Yanky Orlansky, and conducted by Tzvi Blumenfeld.
It is Rav Farkas’s hope that we all will have no more worries and have have a כתיבה וחתימה טובה!

Tzemed Yeled a Jewish children group in Israel, have a few weeks back released a new single covering a song from Rami Kleinstein entitled “Matanot Ketanot.”
This new version of the song takes on a more cheerful note, and the arrangements were adjusted for younger vocalists which give a special atmosphere to listeners during these troubled times.
After receiving amazing feedback and the song gaining popularity among Israeli radio stations, the producers decided to make a music video for the song.

From the author: "The Rock Squirrel has been raiding our bird feeder, carrying away pounds of seed. Nancy figured a quick solution. I don't know which is funnier, the squirrel or Nancy's narration.
For anyone who is concerned about the squirrel, he still raids our other two feeders and the vegetable garden. The tiny amount of Vaseline used is non-toxic, the kind used for lip balm. He quickly learned that this feeder was not worth the trouble, so we have not put more on the pole, and the birds are delighted to actually get some of the bird seed."
Chassidic Master Rabbi Zusha of Anipoli said: "I learned seven things from the thief:
1) What he does, he keeps to himself.
2) He is willing to take risks to attain his goal.
3) He does not distinguish between 'major' and 'minor' things, but takes equally exacting care of each and every detail.
4) He invests great effort in what he does.
5) He is swift.
6) He is always optimistic.
7) If at first he fails, he is back time and again for another try."
