The Rebbe's Sukkah — Rubashkin's House

Thousands walk through the doors every day. Over 100,000 hot gourmet meals will be served, plus cases of fresh sushi, untold numbers of delicious brick oven fleishig pizzas, and (new!) thousands of fresh challahs and cakes baked on-site.

People will come for food. They’ll come for yom tov vibes. They’ll come for farbrengens, for vegetables, for housing, for company, for comfort. They’ll come for everything. They’ll come because this is their Tishrei home!

This is hachnasas orchim for guests from far and near. This is hachnasas orchim for locals. This is chessed for Crown Heights: our permanent residents and our seasonal residents alike.

The Orchim belong to all of Anash, and we, their hosts, enjoy the luxury of sending them to royal 24/7 accommodations at 1349 President Street.

This year we managed to expand the hachnasas orchim operation to include an on-site industrial bakery. The aroma of golden challos and fresh baked goods now fills the air of the Rebbe’s Shchuna, wafting through the sukkah and common areas, taking hospitality to an entirely new level for 5786.

Now is the time and opportunity to participate and treat the Rebbe’s guests to royalty. This will surely be a source of Brachos for an amazing year for everyone who joins.
