Shas Yiden Farher in Bnei Brak

Shas Yiden held another tough and searching, two-hour, Shas-wide farher in Bnei Brak for all its kollelim. The latest examiner was Maran Hagaon Asher Anshel Schwartz, shlit”a, Rosh Kollel Sanz in Bet Shemesh. In the opinion of the avreichim geonim, this farher was one of the most difficult and demanding to date, and they expressed their appreciation to Rav Schwartz who pushed them to the ‘max’, thereby spurring them on to redouble their efforts in their learning – as if their 45 blatt a day with Rashi and Tosfos were not enough motivation.

Hearts That Yearn - Your Heart - Your Child’s Heart

Bezras Hashem Yisburach

After weeks of spending time in the hospital with his daughter, I had a very touching phone call with a close friend, who choose to drop his busy, colorful, productive and successful life, from one minute to the next, finding himself being locked up in the hospital every day, all day, at her bedside, and at the time, her situation wasn’t very promising...

On the phone, he shared a realization he had, that as much as he was there for his children in the past, he has not fully grasped and realized what it means being a father, what it means for him, and what it means for them, and that his love to them is above and beyond anything and everything else.

And when pushed to the wall, it is easy to see that there’s a lot more time that can be spent with our kids, who so desperately need it, and he shared his deep yearning to be able to be there with and for her and his other children, but under better circumstances.

So without planning for a song, I just started writing it to myself, and thought maybe I’ll share with him the reflection of his beautiful share, and after reviewing and seeing it, we decided to release it to the broader Yiddishe fathers and mothers, so others can be inspired by his experience and realization, as a Zechus for בלומא ריזל בת חנה לרפו״ש

So after matching the words to beautiful known songs, Nussy added the artful music, and a dear friend recorded the vocals with his deep, stirring and touching voice.

And here are the results BH.

DoorDash is Helping Masbia Deliver Chicken

During the Passover season, Masbia will provide an estimated $2,232,000 worth of food to those in need. It has been two years since the Covid-19 pandemic began. Since March 2020, with your help, we mobilized and responded to a 500% increase in demand. But even before the pandemic, the demand during the Passover season was 25% of what we would normally do in an entire year. Therefore, we are bracing for a unprecedented demand above the 500% increase we've seen throughout the past two years. We are estimating that we will be helping about 20,000 families this Passover season.

Will you help us transform this Passover from a bitter struggle to a sweet, enjoyable time for the close to 100,000 people who rely on our kitchens and distributions? masbia.org/passover2022

LIVE: 120th Birthday of the Lubavitcher Rebbe

Mark your calendars—a coalition of Crown Heights organizations are uniting to organize a massive community-wide event in honor of Yud Aleph Nissan.

A birthday is more than just cake and presents. Thanks to the Rebbe’s birthday campaign, we know that a birthday holds spiritual significance—“mazalo gover.” Throughout the Rebbe’s leadership, Yud Alef Nissan was never a private day, but rather was celebrated as a public Yom Tov for all Chassidim.

And this year, as we mark the Rebbe’s 120th birthday, is an important year as ever to celebrate the occasion with unity, learning, and inspiration.

On Sunday night, Tes Nissan, April 10, the streets of Eastern Parkway will be blocked off for an in-person event on a massive scale.

Rabbi Moshe Pinson, says he expects to have over 15,000 people in attendance. Rabbi Pinson is the founder of Congregation Bais Shmuel Chabad, leader behind Mikvah Mei Chaya Mushka in Crown Heights, and board member of Bais Rivkah, among other roles. Pinson has been known to successfully move projects to success, while motivating donors and promoting causes. “Our goal is to gather every single member of Anash there,” Pinson says.

The evening of music and inspiration is a huge financial and logistical undertaking, considering the sheer amount of chairs, blockades, and technical savvy needed to pull it off. The Crown Innovative Group—a group of people dedicated to bringing innovative projects for the Crown Heights Community—is behind this event, which is a joint effort of Bais Shmuel – Chabad and Tzivos Hashem. Collive.com is also a proud sponsor of this groundbreaking initiative.

“Yud Alef Nissan is a time of incredible power,” says Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum, director of Tzivos Hashem and a major force behind the planning. After an evening of inspiration and music, a mitzvah tank parade with 120 tanks will embark from 770 to locations all over New York.

Ultimately, the goal of the evening is to bring to reality the Rebbe’s mazal. As the Rebbe writes: “From the days I began going to cheder and perhaps even before then, I had a vision of the ultimate Redemption.” The Rebbe devoted his life to make Moshiach’s coming a reality, and in honor of the Rebbe’s 120th birthday, “together we’re making it happen.” says Yudi Gruenberg of the Crown Innovative Group.

Pharaoh in Pajamas | Shlepping Nachas | TYH Nation

TYH Nation Presents: Pharaoh in Pajamas

By always remembering you're Hashem's child, you never lose touch with your childhood joy. “Pharaoh in Pajama” is all about happy riffing on that nursery rhyme about Yetzias Mitzrayim. It’s the ultimate throwback, with a captivating rendition by the inimitable Shlepping Nachas gang. Sing along, stomp your feet, harken back to childhood, and just plain enjoy.

Remembering that you’re Hashem’s child is the ultimate daily miracle. And that will lead us to the geula shleima, in the dark of the galus night.
