Dovid Lowy - Album Sampler - Behind The Scenes

Reflect has two meanings. It implies a likeness, as a light reflects off a mirror, it is also an expression to look deeper. Both meanings were appropriate for this title.

These songs have been presented before, some of them more recently and some of them years ago.

The acoustic versions I present here reflect their originals, yet bring out a fresh and new sound which will hopefully cause us to reflect more on the meaning and messages behind these beautiful and classic songs.

The process of selecting and building these medleys has brought me through a musical journey of the rich and diverse genres of Jewish music over the ages. I’m so excited to share these REFLECTIONS with you.

Ein Od Milvado - Sochi Majeski - Single

With Everything going on around the world, the one phrase that is truly undeniable, the one phrase that brings us comfort is Ein Od Milvado- There Is None Besides Him.

Everyday we search for answers instead of realizing, and coming to the conclusion that Hashem runs the world. If we can accept the fact that Hashem is in complete control, that he loves us unconditionally, and that he only wants the best for us no matter the circumstance, then perhaps we can all find peace. So turn your systems up, I hope you enjoy this song, and just know that everything will be ok.

It always is..

Sochi.

Benny Friedman & Aryeh Hurwitz "Hachayenu Kel"

Sung by Benny Friedman & Aryeh Hurwitz
Arranged & produced by Doni Gross
Composed by Yisrael D. Rosenberg

Lyrics by the 6th Lubavitcher Rebbe, the Rebbe Rayatz published in "Hakeria VhaKedusha" publication.

Video by 321MOTION

This song was dedicated in honor of: Rabbi Mordchai Meir Bryski OBM who cherished this niggun and brought it with him from his time in the Lubavitcher Yeshiva in Shanghai, China.

Rabbi Yisroel Gordon (may he be gezunt) who taught this niggun to hundreds of his talmidim with love, and with the firm belief that it would bring his talmidim closer to Hashem and closer to the Geulah Shleimah.

About the song:
Hachayenu Kel was first published in 5701 in the first issue of the publication “Hakirah V’Hakedusha”, and was later sung in the presence of the Frierdiker Rebbe, R’ Yosef Yitzchok of Lubavitch.

The words are said to have been written as a poem by the Frierdiker Rebbe himself. The melody was then composed by Yisroel David Rosenberg, who was one of the students of Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim in Shanghai.

The bochurim learning in Lubavitch Yeshiva in Poland had escaped to Shanghai during WWII, and would sing this song in prayer and in the hopes of seeing redemption immediately, and to be reunited with Klal Yisrael.

Motty Atias - Ker Mich Tzirik - Music Video

Motty Atias the composer of the popular songs "Rabbi Ich Benk" and "Min Hamytzar" that was released a short while ago is here once again with another beautiful song called "Ker Mich Tzirik" yet inspiring song that will talk and inspire every Jewish heart and soul.

This song is in memory of Motty's good friend Ari Fried A"H that left the world just a few hours after writing this song, so Motty took on himself to dedicate this song in his memory. May his Neshoma have an Aliya.

In these holy days before we approach Rosh Hashanah many people feel very far from Hashem, after a full year that we struggled, now we all want to be better and get closer to Hashem. so we ask Hashem even though I feel far from you I wanna return to you and be close to you.

Let's hope that this will inspire each and everyone of us to return back to the roots and just be close to him.
