What is Yiddish Folk Music? Yiddish Folk Music is what our Grandparents & Great-grandparent’s used to listen to, songs such as ‘A Yiddishe Mameh’ & ‘Bei Mir Bistu Shayn’ and even music that we all play today.
To bring back the sounds of yesteryear with a fresh twist was the brainchild of Avrumi Schreiber & Tzvi Blumenfeld. To give it the true Big Band sound they collaborated with the fabulous Jazz Trombonist, and a member of The Freilach Band Brass team, Mike Fahie.
