Pelican Boards Boat for a Bite

"We went fishing in the Gulf Canal which is in the game reserve on Wednesday, February 13th, 2019. When we arrived in our fishing spot I turned off the motor. At that time I heard the weeds moving from the bank. That's when a pelican flew and landed about one foot from my boat. I was in disbelief and in awe. I started videoing because I didn't think anyone would believe me. The pelican flew in my boat in landed on the rail and stayed with us for about 4 hours. He hopped around the boat, sat on my motor and just hung out. He even ate my grandson's ham sandwich and took a nap on the front seat. The pelican was not aggressive at all. It was truly an amazing day, it was such a rare and beautiful sight to see. The belly laughs from my grandson were priceless. I will treasure this day and memory forever."
