Railway Workers Save Goat Buried In Snow

Two heroic railway workers used shovels to rescue a chamois goat buried deep in a pile of snow.

On Tuesday January 8 2018. employees from the Austrian Federal Railways ÖBB were ploughing the rail tracks in Gesaeuse national park in Austria after heavy snowfall.

As they started to remove the powder, the goat's horns emerged from the thick white mantle first, then the animal started wriggling to free itself from the hole it had fallen into.

Finally, the chamois got up and rushed off towards the frosty bush as the rescuers celebrated their life-saving effort.
