Climbers Escaped Deadly Pakistan Avalanche
Nail-biting moment a group of hikers in Pakistan are forced to dive behind rocks as they realize an avalanche is hurtling towards them
Footage captured the nail-biting moment the climbers see an avalanche falling from a rocky ridge on a mountain in Pakistan.
Clouds of billowing snow can be seen roaring it's way towards them as they shout 'It's coming!'
Snow continues to hurtle down the rock face and then eventually the hikers are engulfed by snow plume which has been stirred up during its descent.
They suddenly realize they are in it's pathway and could get hit by the snow hurtling towards them at speed. One of the climbers, who is filming the heart-stopping moment, makes a duck behind a rock as the snow whips passed above them.
The white, snowy cloud soon engulfs the hiker, who continues to film the terrifying occurrence.
He can be heard gasping in shock as the remnants of the ear-splitting avalanche coats his body with snow and ice. As the snow eases off, the hiker shouts out to his friends to see if anyone has been hurt.
Luckily the group of climbers appeared to be unharmed by the freak occurrence.
Avalanches on the mountains along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border have caused hundreds of death over the past decade.
In 2017, more than 100 people were killed after heavy snow fall caused an avalanche to wipe out a village and block roads to stop rescue missions.

Pallet Of Water Collapses on Child, Escapes Unharmed
It was a frightening few moments in Bnei Brak last week, after a young child was crushed under an entire skid of water.
The attached video – taken from security cameras – shows a young girl walking past a store on Or Hachayim Street A forklift can be seen moving a skid of water, when suddenly, the entire skid tilts forward crushing the child underneath it.
A woman and man (possibly her mother and father) frantically began digging under the water to get her out, as other people come to assist.
Bichasdei Hashem, the child walked away with minor injuries.

Bridge Collapse in Russia
A motorway bridge over the Trans-Siberian Railway has collapsed, injuring a truck driver and nearly missing a train that was passing underneath.
Russian officials said the driver of a truck who was crossing the bridge as it collapsed on Tuesday was hospitalized with injuries. They said the accident happened in the city of Svobodny in Russia’s far-eastern Amur region, near the border with China.
The collapse halted traffic on a segment of the 7,000-kilometer-long (4,350-mile) Trans-Siberian Railway, the world’s longest railroad line. The railway links Moscow with Vladivostok.

BP Streets Quiet After Arrest Sparks Demonstrations
VIN News - Community leaders are calling for calm in the wake of a Hachnasas Sefer Torah in Borough Park that dissolved into chaos, leading to the arrest of one participant.
The incident took place at approximately 6 PM last night.
Police said that they arrived on 16th Avenue between 51st and 52nd Streets to disburse a large crowd that had gathered on the street without a permit. According to the NYPD, one individual who was walking down the center of the roadway was taken into custody after becoming “combative” when asked to move to the sidewalk.
Numerous onlookers took out their cellphones and began filming as the NYPD attempted to restrain the man, whose name has not yet been released by police. Cell phone footage shows several police officers attempting to handcuff the unidentified man who refused to comply with their requests to put his hands behind his back, with onlookers screaming loudly at police.
Shmira head Levi Leifer said that he had been contacted by organizers of the hachnasas sefer Torah yesterday about the procession.
No officials permits had been secured for the celebration said Leifer, who told organizers that there was no way to secure a permit on such short notice, suggesting instead that they move the procession through quickly to avoid any problems.
But issues cropped up quickly when an NYPD officer arrived on scene to discover that the street was inexplicably closed to traffic, with throngs of people taking to the roadway, explained Yidel Perlstein, chairman of Community Board 12.
After participants refused to listen to a directive to move onto the sidewalk and began pushing police officers, additional units were called to the scene and chaos ensued.

NYPD Wild Arrest of Chasidic Man in Boro Park
A Hachnosas Sefer Torah in Boro Park on Sunday afternoon ended in chaos and at least one person arrested.
Sources tell YWN that at around 6:00PM, hundreds of people began a procession with a new Sefer Torah to the Jebo Bais Hamedrash. There was apparently no permit issued for a street closure, and police responded due to massive traffic in the area.
As can be seen in the attached video footage, numerous NYPD vehicles attempted to open the street and ordered the pedestrians onto the sidewalks.
Individuals intentionally ignored police, prompting officers to get out of their vehicles and attempphysically made an arrest.
The NYPD called for a Level 1 Mobilization Response, prompting dozens of officers to respond.

Israeli Falafel Shop Owner Shows Off His Skills
An Israeli man has turned serving falafel into a performance art.
Brightening up the internet on what is otherwise a bleak news week, a longtime falafel shop owner is seen in a video masterfully throwing the ground-chickpea balls in the air so fast, you can barely see them land in the pita bread he’s holding up in his other hand. He shows off a similar trick with the fries, too. And his face shows utter joy.

Two Israelis Killed in West Bank Terror Attack
A Palestinian terrorist opened fire inside a West Bank industrial zone Sunday morning October 7 2018 where Israelis and Palestinians work together, killing two Israelis and seriously wounding a third, the military said.
Military spokesman Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus said the preliminary finding is that a 23-year-old from a nearby village carried out a “terror attack” in the Barkan industrial zone near the settlement of Ariel before fleeing the scene.
But other workers in the industrial zone suggested the attack was carried out by a disgruntled employee and was not politically motivated. Conricus said the suspect was not known to authorities and was not believed to belong to a Palestinian militant group, saying it appeared to be a “lone wolf” attack. “We know he is still armed and considered dangerous,” he added. Both Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman denounced the attack and said the perpetrator would be brought to justice.
Since 2015, Palestinians have killed over 50 Israelis, two visiting Americans and a British tourist in stabbings, shootings and car-ramming attacks. Israeli forces killed over 260 Palestinians in that period, of which Israel says most were attackers.
Gaza’s Hamas rulers and other militant groups praised Sunday’s attack, but none claimed responsibility for it. One of the victims was identified as Kim Yehezkel, a 28-year-old mother of an infant son who worked in the office that was attacked. The other victim was said to be a Jewish man in his 30s. Another woman in her 50s was seriously wounded.
Closed-circuit footage from the scene showed a man holding a handgun and wearing a backpack, fleeing down a flight of stairs and then dashing past stunned onlookers. Israeli media reported that those killed were found shot to death on their office floor with their hands bound. At his weekly Cabinet meeting, Netanyahu said they had been killed “with great cruelty.”
