Help Our 6 Year Old Girl See Again!!!
Please Donate
It all started months ago while our child was in school when we suddenly got that phone call from her teacher telling us that our child is laying on the floor after she got hurt in her eyes, after that we were rushed in to the hospital where after a few hours we were told that terrible news -that no parents in the world should ever hear- that our child is BLIND. after hearing that we started running around to all doctors in Israel trying to see if anything could be done to get back the eyesight for our beloved child, finally with Hashem's help one doctor told us that if we go to America, there is one doctor in South Carolina that has a good reputation of healing people in these situations.
After the doctor checked her eyes he said in a very positive tone that he has the ability of helping our child thru an expensive operation, upon hearing the price of the operation we were very shocked to find out that after going so much thru and spending so many thousands of dollars we won't be able to do the operation because of one thing; MONEY.
We felt very lost at that time, "how in the world are we going to raise so much money for our child's operation when we are already in deep debt of all the expenses until now".
With just a small donation you can change her life!

Virginia Man Learns Black Ice is for Real
One wrong step caught on video propelled a Virginia man to viral fame this week, courtesy of black ice on his driveway.
Tim Besecker had just stepped out of his house when he slipped on the black ice. Unable to catch his footing, he went teetering down almost the entire length of his driveway, suit jacket and backpack in hand, before tumbling backward onto his lawn, just a few feet from the road. The improbable moment was captured on video by a surveillance camera outside Besecker’s house, and posted Tuesday on social media by his wife,

Yom Tefillah for Cholei Yisroel - Kapayim - Donate Now!
TODAY! once again, for the 3rd year, thousands of men, women and children across the spectrum of Jewish communities throughout the world will unite for an auspicious day of tefillah and tzedakah for choilei yisroel. Tens of thousands of yidden will say - Choilei Yisroel - I'm here for you!
Neighborhood hosts will gather with their neighbors and friends to complete sefer tehillim and donate towards Kapayim, men in their workplaces and kollelim, children of all ages in their schools, yeshivos, and chadarim - to beseech rachmei shamayim for the kinderlach in our communities who suffer the effects of medical illness. Whether the patient is a child or parent - the entire family unit is affected. Kapayim says to choilei yisroel- I'm here for you, 365 days a year. Kapayim is there to ease the suffering, and enable the home to function as normally as possible. Kapayim sees the need, hears the silent (and not so silent) cries, and understands how desperately the tefillos are needed.
By sponsoring a sefer of tehillim the awesome powers of tefilla and tzedaka are combined, on a day that will surely bring yeshuos and refuos to all participants, and enable the dedicated members of Kapayim's vast network of shelichim to continue providing support for choilei yisroel in our communities every single day.
Please contribute generously, as the funds are desperately needed.

Rescuers Form Human Chain to Save Toddler From Lake
A group of courageous passersby in China have saved a family of three from a frozen lake by forming a human chain.
The three survivors, a mother and her two children, had fallen through thin ice and were struggling in bone-chilling water when onlookers quickly reacted.
Footage emerged online showing the 20-metre-long (66 ft) human chain formed by rescuers as they tried to save one of the children. The boy was quickly saved and found to have no injuries.
According to The Beijing News, the incident took place on a lake at the Caoxueqin Park in Tangshan, Hebei Province, on January 7.
It took the onlookers about three minutes to save a woman, a girl and a boy, a witness told Hebei News.
The same witness said the three people are a family and the woman is the mother of the two children. The children were said to be three or four years old.
About 17 men and women can be seen holding each other's hands as they tried to pull up the family.
The rescuers are said to have grabbed wooden sticks and dog leash to hand to the mother, who was hugging her daughter in freezing water.
All three people were said to be in stable condition.

Benny Friedman - Reb Yehoshua Omer - Music Video
One of the measures of true greatness is a person's ability to inspire others to reach for THEIR OWN greatness.
My uncle Rabbi Joshua Gordon, of blessed memory, was a great rabbi and a great teacher. And he inspired me to be a singer. Instead of encouraging me to be like him, he encouraged me to be like me. And he encouraged you to be like you. He wanted us to be the best and finest we could possibly be. He exhorted us To reach for greatness.
Mr. Daniel Aharonoff is yet another person deeply and richly inspired by Rabbi Gordon. Daniel has already brought Rabbi Gordon's message to millions of people by being the catalyst and powerhouse behind Rabbi Gordon's 1000’s of Torah classes on chabad.org. And now he's reaching further.
Thanks to Daniels enthusiasm and BIG thinking - the hallmark of a disciple of Rabbi Gordon - we were able to produce this special tribute.
I present to you the music video of a song dedicated to my uncle Josh, with the words and the message that he lived by and encouraged others to live by. The keys to life: energetic work and tremendous faith and trust in Hashem.
Hustle Yossel, move a muscle!
May we all be an honor to his blessed memory. Lchaim!
Video produced and directed by Avram Zamist
Filmed and edited by Shimmy Socol
Song composed by Boruch Sholom Bleslovsky
Lyrics by Shmuel Marcus
Arranged by Eli Klein and Yitzy Berry

New Mitzvaventions series! Streaming on Torahtreasure
Over the last ten years, Chaim Hershkowitz and Torah Treasure.com have been creating high quality content with Mitzvah Boulevard, Wonders of Hashem, and Bella Brocha. In a similar way, Dovid Taub set a new standard for comic creativity with the Itchie Kadoozy Show.
Now the two have joined forces in a brand new series, Mitzvaventions. A wacky professor develops inventions that help people easier fulfill mitzvos. But when he rents a workshop to build his ideas, he finds an unlikely crew of squatters with ideas of their own! The result has to be seen to be believed!
According to producer Chaim Hershkowitz, the idea for Mitzvaventions grew out of the need to attract older kids. “I’ve always been intrigued by crazy creations, and now, my son, is too. The question became how to share our love with others. With his unique humor, great puppetry, and his signature story-telling ability, Dovid Taub was the answer!”
“When Chaim asked me to work on a project, it took me no time to say “Yes!” And even less time to have fun. I mean, how many people can discuss the merits of flexible vs. stiff ducting for props!”
Currently, Torahtreasure.com is running the first episode of Mitzvaventions. Episodes two and three are currently being edited and will be released soon. To see what all the excitement is about, visit https://torahtreasure.com and click on the short video trailer. Better yet, sign up for a subscription and view Mitzvaventions for yourself.

Atlantic Ocean Frozen Solid
During the extremely cold weather that hit the Northeast United States during the first week of January 2018, Ryan Canty captured amazing footage of a frozen Atlantic Ocean at Old Silver Beach on Cape Cod, in North Falmouth, Massachusetts.
In fact, the ocean was so completely frozen solid, several people with Carty were able to securely walk upon the ocean waves without fear of falling through. Evidently, this type of thing doesn’t happen all too often.
The entire Atlantic Ocean is not actually frozen. Obviously. But the snow and ice does extend pretty far offshore, which makes for an incredibly surreal visual. There are even people walking out there!

Quadruplets
A video of identical quadruplets in Hythe, Alberta, lovingly hugging each other has gone viral
The video shows the toddlers embracing, two at a time, in a notably orderly manner. They throw up their arms, make eye contact and give each other a hug, complete back-patting.
The hug-fest went on for about 15 minutes, Webb said. “Eventually they kind of just stopped hugging and went back to playing. And then they’d come back and hug each other and go back to playing.”
It was the first time Abigail, Emily, Grace and McKayla had hugged for such a long duration, as far as Webb is aware.
The sisters already enjoy a good fight every now and then, particularly over toys, Webb said.
The girls were born in May, 2016.
