Chubby Siberian Tigers Hunt Electronic Bird of Prey
What happens when you combine ferocious Siberian tigers with modern technology? Bouncing, pouncing, and even a bit of trouncing.
Video footage of a habitat for these rare felines in northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province shows them meandering about until they catch sight of a drone with a camera buzzing around.
The rather chubby tigers played cat and mouse with the drone until a 2 or 3-year-old tiger swiped at the camera, a large paw filling its screen before losing signal. The group proceeded to tear the drone apart, with one literally chewing on the gadget as if it was a bird of prey. Unlike a bird, the drone started to give off smoke, which scared off the surrounding tigers.
Staff members of the park in a well-protected vehicle then went to pick up the remains of the drone. This drone chasing is becoming more popular among these well-nourished tigers in the habitat. .

Driver Has Miraculous Escape After Truck Swerves
A truck driver had a miraculous escape after the truck he was in swerved onto its side - missing a car by inches before remarkably regaining control.
The motorist was traveling in the middle lane of a busy motorway in South Korea when the lorry they were in began to skid. And just seconds later it had managed to cross over into the inside lane - terrifying the motorists who were driving at speed behind it.
It then careered across the busy road and approached the cars which were in the fast line just feet away.
The truck approached a saloon vehicle and headed straight towards it - only for the motorist to quickly speed away when it was inches from it. Remarkably, the heavy goods vehicle managed to level itself out and landed back on its four wheels before it crashed into the central reservation.

VP Pence Tours Damaged Gravestones in Jewish Cemetery
Vice President Mike Pence makes unannounced visit to damaged gravestones in St. Louis Jewish cemetery. He gave a speech through a loudspeaker.
Nearly 200 headstones that were damaged and toppled in the Chesed Shel Emeth Society cemetery in the St. Louis suburb of University City in Missouri. Members of the community have been left rattled.
This year alone, 54 Jewish community centers in 27 states and one Canadian province received dozens of bomb threats, according to the Jewish Community Center Association.
Police are reviewing security camera tapes from the St. Louis area cemetery, but its director, Feigenbaum, said the footage has not provided any clues on who was behind he attack.
Crews are cleaning up the cemetery, straightening the headstones and assessing the damage.
The White House has denounced the spate of threats made against Jewish community centers around the country.
The response followed weeks of criticism that the Trump administration has not been forceful enough in denouncing the anti-Semitism that has occurred since his election.

UPS Tests 'Drive By' Drone Deliveries
Package delivery company United Parcel Service tested home delivery by drone in Lithia, Florida, on Monday, the first step in what the company hopes will be a move toward more automated delivery.
A drone launched from a UPS car roof, flew autonomously toward its destination, dropped a package and then returned to the vehicle, as the driver separately continued on a delivery route.
The Tampa-area test, which UPS said went as expected, came less than a month after UPS said it would push forward investment in automation and technology as the company, along with rival FedEx Corp, struggles with slimmer margins from e-commerce business.

Man Struggles to Keep Balance on Slackline
A daredevil slackliner was filmed swinging precariously from side to side above a terrifying death drop as he struggled to maintain his balance.
The stomach-churning footage shows the man wobbling on the rope as he attempts to make his way between two cliff faces. his friends can be heard shouting encouragement as he desperately tried to stay on the rope.
Eventually, he falls off the rope and is left dangling from his harness.
Slacklining bears many similarities to tight rope walking and slack rope walking and involves walking across flat webbing, held between two anchor points.
It is not clear exactly where the footage was filmed.

US Ambassador to the UN Condemns Anti Israel Bias

The first press briefing by President Trump’s new ambassador at the United Nations. The ex-governor of South Carolina was ridiculed by the Left when the president first sent her nomination up to the Hill, owing to her alleged lack of foreign policy chops. She certainly rang the wake up gong for that crowd Thursday morning, after emerging from her first Security Council monthly meeting devoted to the Middle East. Tough as nails but with a smile and a layer of Southern charm.
The ambassador had just come from the regular monthly Security Council on Middle East issues. She said it was her first such meeting, and “it was a bit strange.” The Security Council, she said, is supposed to discuss how to maintain international peace and security. But the meeting, she said, was not about Hezbollah’s illegal buildup of rockets in Lebanon, it was not about the money and weapons Iran provides to terrorists, it was not how we defeat ISIS, it was not how we hold Beshar al-Assad accountable for the slaughter of thousands of civilians.
The ambassador warned that it is “the U.N.’s anti-Israel bias that is long overdue for change,” and said America will not hesitate to speak out in defense of its friend in Israel. All this was going on while the press was questioning President Trump on what he was going to do about anti-Semitism. If his ambassador to the world body is any example, the answer is plenty.
