Trump & Pence Message to Israel

Donald Trump delivered a warm message of support for Israel and his close adviser launched a blistering attack on his rival Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama at a much-anticipated rally that drew 200 supporters Wednesday night just outside the walls of Jerusalem's Old City.

The rally was organised by Republicans Overseas Israel, which estimates that there are 300,000 US citizens living in Israel. Even if only a third of those people cast absentee ballots, organizers believe it could have an impact in some swing states come November 8.

The Republican presidential candidates cites his Jewish daughter Ivanka Trump and vows to stand with Israel.

Man Sought for Stealing Torah Scrolls

The NYPD is looking for a man accused of stealing four Torah scrolls from a Brooklyn synagogue Tuesday.

Police say this individual broke into Avenue O Synagogue and took Torah scrolls on October 25, 2016.

The sacred texts valued at $200,000 were taken from Avenue O Synagogue around 1 a.m., police said. Surveillance video obtained by PIX11 shows the culprit, who is described to be in his 20s, entering the place of worship while apparently wearing a yarmulke, but it is unknown if the individual is Jewish.

City councilman David G. Greenfield says the burglary is "especially upsetting" because it occurred during the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah – a time where observant Jews around the world celebrate the annual completion of the weekly reading of the Torah portion.

He is offering $1,000 reward for an imminent arrest of the "despicable criminal" and return of the Torahs.

Anyone with information that could help in solving this crime is encouraged call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers tip line at 1-800-577-TIPS.

Man Captures His Own Car Crash at 70mph

A man driving in heavy rain at 70mph captured the moment his car aquaplaned and rolled off the embankment.

Travis Carpenter had been filming because he practises singing on the routine journey, which takes three to four hours, as a way to pass the time. On this occasion, he also captured something much more terrifying. Thankfully, he sustained no injuries and there wasn't even any damage to the vehicle.

From the Uploader: I was traveling from Indianapolis to Whitewater, WI for a practice weekend with Machine Ultimate. I was going 70mph (speed limit) on I65 north. I travel the 3-4 hours by myself every time and use singing as a way to pass time, and critique it later. At this point I was practicing a nasal type voice on a Casting Crowns song when the crash happened. I was watching the road and saw nothing that caused me to worry. Simply hydroplaned in a heavy rain. My car slid sideways, and then was completely backwards by the time I slid off the road and went down a small hill. I hit a mile marker sign (230) on my way off the road. Here are two of the most amazing parts: I sustained NO injuries. Not even a scratch. And my car took NO mechanical damage and is completely driveable. Only body damage.

Not for the faint-hearted
