Rally Car Nearly Runs Into Tractor

Rally driving is very difficult – what with winding country lanes, tight corners and overgrown hedgerows.

An unaware farmer in a tractor is certainly not needed to add an extra obstacle as rally driver, Thierry Neuville, found out during the World Rally Championship competition event Rally Deutchland.

While driving through a vineyard on the Belgian and Luxembourg border a tractor drove straight across the race route forcing Neuville to slam on the breaks narrowly avoiding an ugly crash.

Whether it was the roars of the supercharged rally car or the frantic waving of panicked spectators that alerted the sedate farmer to the situation – he was very quick to reverse the tractor out of harms way.
