This Chicago roof jump captured using GoPro cameras is a breathtaking stunt. However, if the jump was completed without the padding or safety nets typically used on movie sets for stunts like this, it is even more amazing.
Once the cameras are set and rolling, Swanson climbs to the roof, paces off the small strip he will use as a runway, and then sprints to the edge and leaps. As he pushes off the roof, the video cuts away from the helmet cam point of view and shows Swanson flying through the air towards the angled roof below. He lands, slides down the roof and is bounced onto a circular staircase on the building next door.
