Well, I happen to agree with this gentleman, if not so much with his way of dealing with it. I love Benny and love his songs, but I cannot begin to understand how Yesh Tikvah (which BTW is not a song, it's more like a chant) belongs at any so called "Chassidishe Wedding"!!
I think that this mechutan has every right to request not to sing Hebrew songs at his wedding. He pays them to sing and has the right to which song they should or shouldn't sing.
just to clarify, the guy who pulled mic was not related to the baalei hasimcha, and the baalei hasimcha specificly requested a "ten minute yesh tikvah set" .... so if this man wanted the song to stop he should have approached the baal hasimcha.

Was it a satmar chassunah?
He does have Tikvah. Its his simcha if he doesn't like a certain song the musician shouldn't play it
