Russian Jet Crash Caught on Tape
Dramatic amateur video emerges of the moment a plane overshot the runway and careered across a Russian highway, killing four people. On Saturday December 29 2012
The footage, captured from a vehicle on the motorway, shows luggage and other debris flying from the aircraft and hitting other cars on the road as the plane smashed into the ground. Louds bangs can also be heard as the plane impacted with the ground and the cars were hit by the wreckage. Four people - the pilot, co-pilot, flight engineer and a flight steward - were killed in the crash and another four seriously injured after the aircraft overshot a runway at Moscow's Vnukovo airport.

Passer-By Sticks Out Foot To Trip Up Fugitive
On Dec. 21, police officer Sheng Song was on duty at the Langaolu Station of the Shanghai metro Line 7 when he found someone very suspicious lingering in front of a ticket vending machine. After checking his birth date in the online database by using his pocket device, Sheng confirmed that the suspicious man was a fugitive who might have been carrying weapons with him. However, another passenger, apparently aware of the situation at hand, extended his left foot to trip the running fugitive. This gave the chasing police officers time to catch up.

33-Ton Shark Tank Burst In Shopping Center
A shocking moment as 33-ton glass shark tank suddenly burst leaving 15 people injured by flying shards of broken glass and a torrent of water. Military Pilot Makes Near-Fatal Landing
A crowd of about 1,000 had gathered to watch the final landing of the Transall C-160 military plane as it approached the Ballenstedt airfield in Saxony-Anhalt, central Germany On December 26, 2012. All appeared to be going smoothly until the pilot suddenly reported that he could not see the start of the runway from his cockpit - and came down on a side road where many of the spotters were standing. As some fled screaming in terror, the braver or more foolhardy stood their ground keeping their cameras trained on the 31-ton aircraft to catch every second of the action.

Whale Beached In Queens
A 60-foot-long finback whale was discovered beached Wednesday morning along Jamaica Bay in Breezy Point, Queens. Rescuers from the Riverhead Foundation said the whale was starving and struggling. Police and volunteer firefighters were using a hose to put water on the whale Wednesday morning. According to the state Department of Environmental Conservation, finback whales are second in size only to the blue whale, They are typically 20 feet long at birth and can grow to 70 feet long.

After he passed the required exams he was accepted to one of the classes in the yeshiva in Shtzedrin, and in this first year of studies in Tomchei Tmimim he absorbed the fundamentals of Chassidus from the Mashpiah HaRav HaChassid R' Shaul Dov Zislin A"H. After a year he returned from Shtzedrin to Lubavitch and put his whole soul and being into Torat HaChassidus. On the 2nd of Nissan 5680 he merited to be among the small group who were present when the Admor HaRashab of Lubavitch passed away. Meanwhile he was offered important positions. The "shadchan" who made the offers was none other than the Admor HaRayatz of Lubavitch. His father-in-law was R' Ze'ev Wolf Bronstein. After his marriage he was sent with his wife to Polotzk to be a Mashpiah there for Anash. Some of the Talmidei Hatmimim had moved there in the year 5686. He was also appointed Mashpiah in the Yeshiva. In the year 5689 he was arrested for his activity. In Kislev 5707 he left Russia. In the year 5709 he came to the Holy Land according to the instructions of the Rebbe HaRayatz.
The Rebbe HaRayatz gave instructions to appoint him as Mashpiah in the Yeshiva in Tel Aviv. Afterwards, in the year 5711 the Rebbe ordered him to move together with his class to Lod. When the Yeshiva moved to Kfar Chabad, R' Shlomo Chaim moved to the yeshiva in the Kfar. He put all his entire being in influencing and educating his Talmidim the Tmimim. He demanded from them "Avodah" and he was a living symbol and a role model regarding everything that he demanded and asked of them. He related to his students as a father to his children. He was Niftar on Friday afternoon, the 19th of Iyar 5731, surrounded by his Talmidim.
