How Many People Fit In One SUV
Police in Oklahoma were stunned to discover 13 illegal immigrants stuffed into the back seat of an SUV, during a routine traffic stop on Tuesday morning. Police pulled the car over on busy Interstate 40 for tailgating, only to discover the stowaways crammed into the back of the vehicle.
As if that wasn't surprise enough, shortly after being stopped the 10 men and three women tried to make a quick getaway, bursting out of the car and running in every direction - some even darting past speeding cars on the busy highway.

Staged Plane Crash Makes Braking News
Shortly after 8 a.m. the news team at Chicago's WGN Channel 9 went into breaking-news mode, sending out a helicopter and breathlessly reporting that a a plane had crashed into Martin Luther King Drive on the South Side.
The only problem was that what they were reporting on wasn't a real plane crash, but a scene staged for the filming of a television show. Rival news stations had already called police and fire officials about what looked to be a real crash, but Channel 9 was the only one to take the story to the air live.

Technion students Eyal Cohen and Tomer Wassermann from the Mechanical Engineering faculty and Matan Orian and Dvir Dukhan of Industrial Engineering and Management take on the challenge to build a Rube Goldberg machine that lights the Chanukah menorah.
The film was made in the Computer Integrated Manufacturing and Robotics Laboratory in the William Davidson Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management. Rube Goldberg Machine/contraption is a deliberately over-engineered or overdone machine that performs a very simple task in a very complex fashion, usually including a chain reaction. The expression is named after American cartoonist and inventor Rube Goldberg (1883–1970).
Over 80% of the missiles fired at Israel during the recent rocket attacks from Gaza were downed by the Iron Dome from Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. Technion graduates make up the majority of the engineers who developed this life saving system.

Yeshiva Students Pay Respect to Seforim
Nov, 25-2012 - Far Rockaway, NY - In a moving and emotional tribute, Yeshiva Darchei Torah in Far Rockaway this morning turned out in force for a levaya for the innumerable seforim and other kisvei kodesh that were destroyed by Hurricane Sandy last month.
One of the three trucks containing shaimos from the greater Far Rockaway away stopped at the yeshiva's Beach 19th Street parking lot at 9:15 this morning, where the entire student body, ranging from Pre 1A through Beis Medrash, gathered to say tehillim for the seforim that were lost.
Rabbi Yaakov Bender, menahel of the yeshiva called the loss of so many seforim "a churban for klal yisroel" and said that he hopes that by taking part in the actual levaya, talmidim will gain a further appreciation and respect for seforim.
Rabbi Zevi Trenk and Rabbi Shlomo Avigdor Altusky both exhorted all those assembled to increase their learning in the wake of the last month's devastating storm. Following the levaya, the crowd accompanied the truck as it made its way out of the yeshiva's parking lot. The shaimos will be buried upstate in Mountaindale, New York.
