Alligator Nearly Bites Off Scientist's Arm

This biologist was attempting to wrangle the 300 pound gator in North Carolina. But the gator wasn't ready to leave his habitat in a residential area in Carteret County. The 10-foot long reptile lashed out at the man - biting his arm - and sending him on a quick retreat. More than 20 emergency responders were on the scene and they eventually captured the alligator, then released it back into the wild. The biologist was treated at the hospital and released
