Egypt's Hosni Mubarak resigned as president and handed control to the military on Friday after 29 years in power, bowing to a historic 18-day wave of pro-democracy demonstrations by hundreds of thousands. Mubarak made his announcement right after nightfall which in the Hebrew calendar was right after the completion of the seventh days of Adar which is the birthday and Yahrzeit of the first redeemer of the Jewish people in Moshe Rabeinu who was born in Egypt. Significance? I Have no idea!

Poor Little Arabs Frighten Israeli Aggressor
These stupid people (if they can be referred to as people at all) are laughing. Now there are basically two reasons why these soldiers ran away, scared for their life. 1) Because they are walking in a wild safari. What these people are capable of doing to other human beings is simply indescribable. 2) Because the army is taught to practice restraint. If they did not care about Palestinian life they would shoot them all dead instead of running away.

Rabbi Makes Crucial Mistake at Demonstration Rally
Rabbi Nachum Shifren, also known as "The Surfing Rabbi" makes a critical slip of the mouth mistake during a speech he gave at rally supporting the EDL (English Defence League) in Luton, England.. The EDL is a far-right street protest movement which opposes the spread of Islamism, Sharia law and Islamic extremism in England.
Rabbi Shifren is an Orthodox Jew who is also an accomplished surfer. Shifren is active in conservative politics. He was the 2010 California Republican Party candidate for the California state senate's 26th district.
Someone has got to explain this to me. As far as i understand he is a Frum Jew. But i also understand that this rally took place on February 5, 2011, which was on Shabbos!

A collection of video clips of the previous Klausenburger Rebbe Harav Yekusiel Yehudah Halberstam (January 10, 1905 - June 18, 1994). The first2 minutes are especially interesting.
The Klausneberger Rebbe, also known as the Baal Shefa Chayim, became one of the youngest Rebbes in Europe, leading thousands of followers in the town of Klausenburg, Romania, before World War II. His wife, eleven children and most of his followers were murdered by the Nazis while he survived several concentration camps. After the war, he helped rebuild Jewish communal life in the D.P. camps, re-established his dynasty in the United States and Israel, and rebuilt his own family with a second marriage and the birth of seven more children. ZT"L.
