Arutz Sheva TV met the Chai Lifeline "Wish at the Wall 2011" trip as they visited the city of Bnei Brak. The group came to meet worldly renowned Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky and Rebbetzin Kanievsky, his wife, to receive their blessings for health and well-being. The "Wish at the Wall" trips bring to Israel children who could not get to Israel any other way.
Arutz Sheva met last year's group at the Western Wall, That was a group of children who were dealing or had dealt with cancer along with their parents. This year's trip is for teens coping with serious chronic, and sometimes fatal illnesses. These young men and women are determined to overcome physical limitations and experience all that Israel has to offer. They are accompanied by a parent and Chai Lifeline's medical staff.
After they were received happily at the airport by the staff of the trip, the group set out to a large variety of locations throughout Israel including - the Old city of Jerusalem, Masada, Ein Gedi, the Knesset, northern Israel and the mostly hareidi-religious city of Bnei Brak. During the tour the young boys and girls met soldiers, rabbis, politicians and other Israelis

PM Begin's Visit to the Lubavitcher Rebbe 1977
This video was shown at the Bar Mitzvah of Yochanan Boruch Gutnick. An excerpt from the upcoming film:, "Faithful and Fortified, Volume III: Prime Ministers." On July 17, 1977, Prime Minister of Israel Menachem Begin went to seek the Lubavitcher Rebbe's blessings before going to meet with President Carter.
During a walk at the Presidential retreat in Camp David during September of 1978, P.M. Begin told the then National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski "my right eye will fall out, my right arm will fall off, before i ever sign a single scrap of paper permitting the dismanelting of a single jewish settlement." As President Carter himself relates in an interview "Begin had taken a solemn oath that he would not dismantle a single settlement in the Sinai". In March of 1979, Menachem Begin the P.M. of Israel and Anwar El Sadat President of Egypt signed a peace treaty in which Israel agreed to transfer all control over Sinai to Egypt, despite the fact that large oil reserves had recently been found in the region.
I have not confirmed this but i heard that one time when the Lubavitcher Rebbe was asked why he is against giving land for peace in Egypt he said something like: who knows what will happen next year or in 30 years from now! The "next year" was when Egypt's President Sadat was assassinated (1981), and the "30 years from now" is 2011.

Lubavitch Mivtzah Tefilin in Hollywood Movie
Video clip of Hollywood actor Jesse Eisenberg donning Tefillin in a movie called “Holy Rollers." The movie which was released last May is about a Brooklyn youth from an Orthodox Jewish community who is lured into becoming an Ecstasy dealer by his pal who has ties to an Israel drug cartel. The film was officially inspired by the true story of Chasids-turned-drug smugglers in the 1990s.
Eisenberg who is a rising star in Hollywood was the main actor in the recent major movie about the creation of Facebook.com called "The Social Network."
Eisenberg, who was raised Reform in Queens and New Jersey respects his Jewish background, but said he refused to become bar mitzvah because “in my community, kids did it for the checks.”
He also said he sees a contradiction in his participation in “Holy Rollers”: “Chasidic Jews don’t see secular movies, and I act in them,” he said. To create a realistic and respectful portrait, Eisenberg spent two years reading and watching movies about the community, learning to wrap tefillin, to chant prayers, and interviewing Chasidim sometimes on tape — about marriage, faith and blind faith.
There were some unexpected perks to the job: Eisenberg finally had his bar mitzvah. “It was just a 15-minute ceremony at the Chabad headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway, without all the hoopla that had surrounded bar mitzvahs when I was a child,” he said. “I didn’t feel like a man immediately afterwards,” he added with a laugh. “But maybe after a day or two.” (Via: JewishJournal.com May 18, 2010.)

The Kevorim of Mordechai and Esther
Rav Yisroel Gabay of Yerushalayim, who has devoted his life to restoring and protecting kevorim, went to Iran last week to check on kivrei tzaddikim there. He visited Hamadan, south of Tehran, where the kevorim of Mordechai and Esther are located.
“I saw neglect. There was a soccer field on the graves of the tzaddikim,” Rav Gabay related. He visited the kever of the novi Chavakuk, located in the the ancient city of Shushan, and the kever of the novi Doniel. With Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad threatening to destroy the ancient graves, this was perhaps the last time that Rav Gabbay will have had the opportunity to visit the kevorim, which the Jewish community is trying to preserve. “The community is frightened and we must help them,” said Rav Gabay.
During his visits to Arab countries, amazingly, Rav Gabay wears his regular attire, rather than hiding and disguising himself. He walks around with his tzitzis exposed as well. “They asked me what I am doing here and I say that I have come to daven. And they ultimately ask that I pray for them too.”
