In this video you can see the remarkable sensitivity the Lubavticher Rebbe had towards a young girl's feelings. During Kois Shell Bracha (after Simchas Torah), Cantor Mr. Satzkaz began singing "Who Knows One?" in Russian with his son and daughter beside him, the Rebbe signeled to the son to sing along, spontaniously the doughter started singing too and her voice was heard over the microphone. When the Rebbe noticed this, he signled for someone to tell her to sing "only with her lips" and the Rebbe added "be sesitive." It seemed there might have been some confusion and the little girl's feelings were hurt... Watch how the Rebbe puts down his cup and starts to clap insink with the little girl, giving her his full undivided attention so that she would feel better.

He was the Tzadik Hador
It seems that the Rebbe did not want people to have to listen to a girl singing and therefore encouraged her to clap instead. If this is true, IMHO the editor of this video (the one who put the subtitles up) should have edited out the girls voice to adhere to the Rebbe's level of tznius.
still is
