Rahm Emanuel, Chief of Staff for Obama administration, visited Israel with his family for his son's Bar Mitzvah. Some Israelis greeted him with criticism over his plan to divide Jerusalem while others begged him to protect Israel and wished him well. He met with PM Benjamin Netanyahu and said there that he had a wonderful visit and the people were warm and welcoming. He relayed over a message to P.M. Netanyahu from President Obama inviting him to the White House for a meeting next week.

Dovig Gabay Introduces New CD - Announces Album Title "Eretz Yisroel"
Dovid Gabay's highly anticipated third CD is set be released in time for Shabbos Nachamu weekend. The album, titled Eretz Yisroel, features songs by some of the hottest names in Jewish music as well as compositions from exciting new song writers, including Yossi Green, Baruch Levine, Yitzy Waldner, Elimelech Blumstein,Eli Laufer, Noach Palai, Pinny Ostreicher, Elie Schwab and Moishe Wertzberger. Arrangements for Eretz Yisroel were also done by a dazzling mix of both old and new talent including Yisroel Lamm, Leib Yaakov Rigler, Mendy Hershokowitz (Freilach Band), Pinny Ostreicher, Moshe Roth and Ami Cohen.

AFP Reports: Orthodox Haredi Jews in Israel have started publishing special religious comics where the heroes are rabbis and there's no violence at all -- and they're proving a big hit with youngsters.

No Words For This Two Year Old!
The footage shows two-year-old Ardi Rizal reclining with a cigarette in his mouth. He waves it around, and draws back deeply on the cigarette. Ardi's parents claim that the child is addicted to nicotine. His mother Diana 26, told Britain's Sun newspaper she felt powerless to deny the child. "He's totally addicted," she said. "If he doesn't get his cigarettes, he gets angry and screams and batters his head against the wall. He tells me he feels dizzy and sick." Ardi Rizal smoked his first cigarette when he was 18 months old and now smokes 40 cigarettes a day. The overweight toddler is deft at blowing smoke rings, but is so unfit he cannot play with other children."

His son Michael Burstein was born in New York City(July 1, 1945) and is an American actor known onstage as Mike Burstyn.
